Maintaining healthy and strong hair as I age has been a priority for me and I’m so excited to partner with HUM Nutrition to share a look at one of my favorite hair supplements. After experiencing some hair loss with stress and breakage with color treatments I started trying out some biotin supplements to help with hair growth. I’ve tried several over the years and the one I keep going back to is the HUM Hair Sweet Hair so this collaboration couldn’t be a better match for me!
The HUM Hair Sweet Hair gummies come in two sizes, a 60 count bottle and mini 14 count bottle. As someone with a sensitive stomach I like that these are easy to eat any time of day with or without food. Your mileage may vary depending on what ingredients mesh well with your body.
These contain:
Biotin, Folic Acid, B-12 all help with new hair growth by promoting healthy cell growth
PABA Para-aminobenzoic Acid helps maintain natural healthy hair color to increase hair pigment production (supposed to help prevent gray)
Zinc helps reduce hair loss by repairing the growth tissue, it’s also great to boost immunity
Fo-Ti Extract is for scalp health
According to HUM you can expect to see results in 4-8 weeks. I notice stronger healthier hair around week 4 of daily use (take 2 per day). After using these I find I experience less hair loss in the shower or bath, hair grows faster and healthier, my natural shine has returned. I highly recommend giving these a try!
Have you tried any of the HUM Supplements before? If so which ones? What did you think? Several of you have recommended I try the Glow Sweet Glow (just bought the mini of this one) or Daily Cleanse. I have the Beauty zzZz on my list to try to help with sleep. Would love to hear more about what you have in your daily routine!
Doing something as simple as painting my nails these days has some kind of calming effect on me. I’ve been painting my own nails for several years now and since we’re all stuck at home this might a good time to try and improve your own technique! I’m rounding up my favorite spring polish colors to brighten the mood. I’m kinda into softer shades and pastels at the moment. If you have any ones you love let me know in the comments!
Color-wise, my favorite colors right now are the Chanel Fleur do Pecher and Petale from the La Fleur Et L’Eau Collection. However many of you asked me for more budget-friendly recommendations so I’m sharing some colors I’ve hauled recently from Essie, OPI, Olive and June below.
_______________
Essie
Essie is a favorite among many of you. Color-wise I think there are some really nice shades. Formula-wise it’s not my favorite simply because I find other brands last longer/better on my fingers. They recently launched a new quick-dry formula called Expressie and it really does dry faster! I picked up 3 colors to give a whirl and love all of them. I can get full opaque coverage with 2 thin coats.
Buns Up is a neutral beige cream, similar to OPI Samoan Sand, but the Essie is not as yellow and also has more opaque coverage.
_______________
Crop Top and Roll is a nice everyday neutral pink beige cream, I can get full smooth coverage with 2 coats as well.
_______________
In the Time Zone is a blue-based cream pink, but isn’t too blue on my golden skin tone.
_______________
For the spring color launch I think all the colors are really fun and fresh. I limited myself to 2 of them including Kissed by Mist, a light blue-based pink with tiny violet sparkles.
_______________
Spring in Your Step is one of the prettiest smooth pearl lavender colors I’ve seen. It flashes a very subtle hint of pink in the shimmer.
_______________
OPI
OPI is my favorite affordable nail polish brand. I think they have the best color selection and lasting power. I’ve used a number of their base and top coats in the past and love them to extend wear. My most-worn neutrals are Samoan Sand, Machu Peach-u and Tiramisu for Two. In case you missed the swatches, check out my Top 5 Best Nude Nail Polishes post. They recently launched a Neo-Pearl Collection and since everything is online only these days I relied on YouTube swatches to pick a couple colors. I normally prefer the regular formula, but it appears the Infinite Shine 2 options for this launch are better and less streaky. I ordered these from Ulta but it looks like they are sold out right now. You might have to do a bit of searching to find these.
I’m a Natural is the perfect pale pink polish color. It’s a soft pink that flashes a slight hint of blue. I think it’s perfect! This one is best with at least 2 coats. In online swatches and photos I’ve seen it flash more purple/blue. I guess it depends on the angle and lighting!
_______________
You’re Full of Abalone is a pale ivory white that has a flashes a tiny bit of blue/violet. It’s sheer so I like it best with 3 coats. It’s a nice clean white that isn’t too stark or sharp on my skin.
_______________
Olive and June
The Olive and June nail salon in LA is one of the cutest places I’ve ever been to. I’ve only been there once and it was the most expensive nail treatment I splurged on with a friend. We both still remember it! They launched their own line of polish and nail care products and I think they’re super cute. You can see a previous review of their Tool Box here. A few of their polishes are now available at Target, but the vast majority of their products are online at their website Olive and June.
GH is a pale pink that’s almost white on my skin. The formula is buildable so don’t be shocked if the first coat looks streaky. Just apply 1 thin coat, let it dry completely. The 2nd coat will smooth out to smooth coverage.
_______________
TT is a pale lilac, also almost off -white on my skin, but looks clean and fresh!
_______________
SE is a baby blue-based pink, best with 2 thin coats. You may need a third on this color.
_______________
BI is a perfect peach cream. The formula on this one was difficult for me to work with, but if you have patience to apply slowly and let each coat dry completely, I think the end result is pretty!
Today I’m doing a best of roundup of one of my favorite makeup brands Laura Mercier. I have swatches of the new Caviar Stick Eye Colors and thought it might be a good time to do an updated round up of my favorite everyday makeup staples from the line. I get asked for my everyday makeup staples quite frequently and I’ve done several with a mix of brands. Some of you have asked for round ups by brand so I’ve decided to start with Laura Mercier. I’ve used them for years and even through numerous reformulations and revamps still find I use something from the brand almost daily.
If you like classic easy to wear looks and are in search of makeup staples I’m rounding up my favorites today.
Foundation Primers
I have a love/hate relationship with most primers. In my opinion there’s no one-primer-fits all formula. While I do find many will smooth and prep skin and also extend the wear I think finding a good primer depends on your skin type and also what foundation formulas you wear. As a good starting point, I’d recommend sticking with the same brand of primer and foundation as they usually make formulas that are compatible with their entire brand. For example I do think if you use an oil-free primer it might not be compatible with an oil-based foundation. If you find your foundation is separating on your skin I’d suggest looking at the ingredients and taking a look at what moisturizer or primer you are using underneath.
All that said, I put all of the new Pure Canvas Primers from Laura Mercier to the test. Since I use the Flawless Fusion or Flawess Lumiere Radiance formulas most frequently, I felt the new primers would all be compatible. Out of all the new ones my top three are the Protecting SPF 30, Illuminating (when I want more glow) and the Perfecting. All three will smooth the skin to give you better foundation application and help extend the wear. I don’t use them everyday as I think the foundations I have are quite good with lasting power and application, but I do think these are nice ones to try. They’re unscented and silicone-free for those looking for options suitable for sensitive skin.
Foundation and Concealer
I’ve written about the Laura Mercier Foundations countless times. Brands often reformulate and revamp and I have been really happy with all of the bases I’ve tried from the brand. My top 4 favorites:
Tinted Moisturizer (review here) is my favorite natural glowy tinted base that gives a nice polished look, I wear Sand 3N1 right now.
Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Foundation is my holy grail long-wear foundation, it’s the best one that holds up in Florida heat and humidity, doesn’t irritate my skin and gives full but natural looking coverage, I wear Buff 3N1 most of the year.
Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Concealer is also in my top 3 for concealers (swatches here) I alternate between 2N, 3N, 2W and 3W depending on time of year (as I tan easily), most of the time I wear the 3N or 3W which is good for highlighting, brightening the under eye or spot concealing.
Setting Powders
I use the classic Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder on a regular basis with their Powder Puff or a Powder Brush. I also really like their Loose Glow Powders which I use more as a highlighter (lighter shade) or bronzer (for the deep color). The classic Translucent Loose doesn’t add any color and is compatible with all of the foundations I use regardless of brand/formula. Even though it’s white it doesn’t add any white cast to my skin. If you’re a long-time Laura Mercier fan you might remember she used to have tinted versions of the matte loose powder, I really wish they would bring those back!
Eyeshadows
For eyeshadows my absolute favorites are her Caviar Stick Eye Colors. I use Rosegold and Copper religiously for an all over wash or as a base for powder shadows. Rosegold is the best neutral shimmer – it looks good alone or with other shades. For her cream shadows I find they are creamy and easy to blend. Pigment ranges from sheer to full depending on how much you layer or blend (with fingers or a brush). Once they set they stay put on my eyes but they remain creamy long enough to work with.
She launched 12 new shades recently, I swatched and played with 10 of them (the ones I thought I would actually wear). They run warm and on the pink side. The fuchsia colors or pinks aren’t really my vibe but I swatched them anyways. I was able to wear Raspberry and Magenta when layered/mixed with other shades though. My favorite of the new ones are the pinks in Sunrise and Nude Rose.
I swatched 10 of the 12 new colors (there are 2 blue shades I didn’t swatch), new ones include:
Pearl is a pale cool white shimmer
Sunbeam is a pale yellow shimmer
Golden is a yellow gold shimmer
Sunrise is a satiny soft warm light pink with a slight sheen
Nude Rose is a shimmery rose pink
Sienna is a shimmery orange
Raspberry is a shimmery mauve rose
Burgundy is a slightly deeper plum shimmer
Magenta is a hot pink shimmer
Violet is a shimmery violet
I wear Rosegold, Copper and Sandglow the most frequently. In pulling the products for my roundup it occurred to me that it has been a while since I swatched the colors I have. These are the shimmer colors. There are also matte options but I find they pull a little dry on me. Colors swatched: Beam, Sugar Frost, Rosegold, Magnetic Pink, Moonlight, Grey Pearl, Intense Moonlight, Metallic Taupe, Sandglow and Copper.
Purples and deeper shades: Rush, Orchid, Intense Amethyst, Violet, Burgundy, Amethyst, Burnished Bronze, Plum, Cocoa and Smoke. I use the last 3 colors swatched as liner, I’ll apply them onto a detail brush and then smoke or smudge them along my lash line.
Highlighters
The world has gone highlighter crazy and the trend doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Even with all the new launches I think the Laura Mercier Face Illuminator remains a good everyday staple. Indiscretion is the best neutral champagne in my opinion. It has enough warmth to not look overly frosty or pale on my skin. I ordered the two newest ones with the floral pattern from Nordstrom and think they’re beautiful!
Affection (new) is a light pale champagne shimmer, it has a good amount of shimmer in it but is smooth
Sensation (new) is a shimmery copper, on me it pulls more like a shimmery blush/bronzer but isn’t too orange
Devotion is a pale pink shimmer
Addiction is a pale yellow gold shimmer
Indiscretion is the best neutral champagne highlighter
Inspiration is a lovely pink mauve frost (detailed review + look here)
Color: Blush, Lipstick + Gloss
For color all the Laura Mercier products have gone through a reformulation at some point. I like what I’ve seen so far! The Blush Color Infusion in Fresco is a perfect everyday neutral blush. It has a tiny bit of shimmer so it’s not flat. I like that it adds a bit of warmth and color without darkening or oxidizing like a lot of nude blushes can do. For the lips the Rouge Essential Silky Creme Lipsticks are the best no-fuss classic lip formula. They’re creamy with full coverage but feel weightless. There’s a bit of shine in the finish which gives them a more natural lush look. I love all the neutrals but find Brun Pale and Nu Prefere are my kind of everyday nudes. I’ve used the Lip Glace since my high school days long before the repackaging and reformulation. I actually really liked the original perfume scent these had back in the day. Right now they’re vanilla scented and have a slightly sticky feel but it’s not too thick. Opal is my favorite for layering on practically everything.
That wraps up my favorites from Laura Mercier! I hope you found the favorites helpful. If you want any other brands featured in a Top 10 or Best Of post let me know in the comments.
Most Laura Mercier products featured are press samples. Items purchased by me include the Face Illuminators in Indiscretion (repurchase), Affection, Sensation, Lip Glace in Opal, Tinted Moisturizer in Sand 3N1.
Just wanted to do a quick check in post to say hi and see how you are all holding up. The world feels like everything has been turned upside down and life feels like one long extended nightmare. In Florida we are now on a state-wide stay-at-home-order although it started earlier in our county with lots of businesses closing except for the essentials. Grocery stores, pharmacies, take-out food and pet stores etc are still open, but our beaches have been closed as well as some parks. A lot of our favorite bakeries and cafes have closed. The panic buying continues here (it started a lot later here than other places). It’s still nearly impossible to find toilet paper in stores. The paper towel aisle and cleaning sections always seem to be cleared out.
We are holding up just fine – we are social distancing but continuing outdoor walks to stay active and trying to support local businesses with take out as much as we can. We took our bikes for a ride last weekend at some parks and nearby trails – although with many parks being closed we aren’t sure how long we can do this. At home we are enjoying time in our backyard, doing more home work outs, cleaning and organizing. We just started watching the new season of Ozarks and Westworld. Better Call Saul is also on my list. I’m trying to stay distracted to stay sane and positive. Really looking forward to the days when things can and will go back to normal.
So how are you holding up? What have you been doing to stay busy at home? I wanted to answer some FAQs on new beauty launches – so many of you have been asking about things since everything now is literally online only. On my more immediate to-do list I will be reviewing the new Armani concealer, Chanel Les Beiges, By Terry summer and new Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks.
From recent posts, several of you have asked where this round mirror is from. I found it at Target and think it’s super cute. My other favorite makeup mirrors here.
I haven’t been getting good sleep lately. Unfortunately I’m sure this is the case for many of you. I’ve woken up with puffy eyes more and these 111Skin Eye Masks have been life savers for me. I really love the Sub Zero De-Puffing Eye Masks (blue ones) are my favorites. I also really like the Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Masks as well (pink package). They’re a really nice treat in the mornings and I think they’re 100% worth the splurge. Some retailers carry them in 1 sheet packs too. I haven’t had much luck with melatonin sleep aids in the past but I’ve ordered the HUM Beauty zzZz to try as I really like their other supplements. If you have any favorites let me know.
My favorite at-home comfy things to wear are the APL Techloom Slides. I own them in so many colors and bought some for Andrew too. They have nice support and are so much better than flats or sandals that have no cushion. We wear ours everywhere. The lighter colors are easy to clean up – I just throw them in the washing machine but air dry them. Below is the color Parchment (toes is an older nail polish color in Chanel Resplendissant).
My sweet girl Lucy and me in our backyard, she’s 15 this year! We really miss Jake who passed away over the summer. (Wearing Dior Addict Stellar Halo Shine in Peace Star.)
For those asking about DIY manicure tips, I’ve done several hand nail care routine posts in the past. I’ve been doing my own since we moved to Florida (for over 3 years now) since I’ve never quite found a salon that I really liked. In case you want to do your nails at home and want some tips you can find my most recent Hand and Nail Care Routine article here. Quick note that I think some of my holy grails from Deborah Lippmann have been reformulated. I ordered replacements and they don’t perform the same! I’m trying out some other cuticle softeners/removers from Sally Hansen and CND hoping they’ll work better.
Will have the Chanel Les Beiges 2020 collection review soon! (Ordered everything except the 2 nail colors, still undecided about those.) I will also review the new Armani Luminous Silk Concealer (ordered 6.5 which is a good match for the 6.5 foundation).
How are you all holding up? What are some things that have helped you remain calm or sane? Any good new TV shows to binge watch? Good movies you love to re-watch? How are you staying active at home or are you able to go outdoors?
Hoping you are all well and safe. Sending lots of love. I’m doing a lot of stress eating at home to cope!
The latest from Dior Beauty is the new Dior Addict Stellar Gloss ($30 each) + Stellar Halo Shine Lipsticks ($38 each). I hauled several colors in the new formulas and have swatches for you today! Most of the colors are available at all retailers like Nordstrom, Sephora etc. There are a few shades I was only able to find on Dior.com. Color options may vary by country as well.
Dior Addict Stellar Gloss
I bought eight of the Dior Addict Stellar Lip Glosses sight unseen. I’ve been buying the lip glosses from the line for as long as I can remember and by this point I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve reformulated them. This variation comes with a large sponge tip applicator. They also have a sweet vanilla scent this round which I don’t remember them having. The Dior Addict Stellar Gloss has a high shine finish with a balm-like feel. They are smooth and non-sticky but semi-thick because of the balmy feel. Lasting power is better than average. They stay put on the lips for several hours but aren’t going to be super long lasting.
Finishes range from creams, shimmers to high shimmers to a few sparkles. I’d say pigment varies by color as well. The deeper brighter shades have better color payoff. A lot of the nudes I got look similar in the tubes. You can see the variation once you swatch them on the hand. However on my pigmented lips many of them look the same.
Colors I hauled:
Diorsolight is a pale milky beige pink cream
D-Way is a milky beige with tiny silver and beige shimmers
J’Adior is a perfect beige peach nude cream
Mirrored is a shimmery reflective nude
D-Light is a smooth shimmer beige with pinkish/silver sheen
Diorama is a smooth soft muted plum with silver shimmers
Stellar is a clear base loaded with lilac glitter (still applies smooth and there’s no texture even with the sparkles)
Everdior is a gorgeous shimmery coral with gold shimmers
Dior Stellar Halo Shine Lipsticks
I was really excited about the new Dior Stellar Halo Shine Lipsticks because of the shimmery stars in the center of each color! Some have a gold star, others have a pink star. The lipsticks themselves are more of a satin with a soft sheen but the star center adds either gold micro glitters or pink micro sparkles. On the lips they are shimmery but aren’t too frosty.
Pigment-wise the deeper colors have better color payoff. These have a lot of slip to them because of the shine. To me they have a similar feel to the YSL Rouge Volupte Shines or Chanel Rouge Coco Flash. The Dior Stellar Halo Shine Lipsticks also have a sweet vanilla cake kind of scent. Since there is a lot of shine and gloss to them, they almost feel like they’ll slide off the lips without a liner or primer. To me they feel more like tinted balms rather than a lipstick, but it’s pleasant and lovely to wear.
Colors I hauled below. As always please note because I have a natural pigmented lip base, the nudes will most likely look different on you as my natural lip shows through:
Cherish Star is a nude pink in the tube, but on my lips it’s almost a pale sheer pink
Treasure Star looks like a taupe shimmer in the tube, on my lips it’s a nude pink shimmer
Peace Star is a coral peach shimmer, on my lips and complexion it pulls more pinkish
Pink Star is a lovely almost soft raspberry pink shimmer
Overall I’m happy with most of my picks. Had I seen them all in person I probably would have picked different colors and skipped most of the nudes I bought – mainly because they look so similar on me. Since the formula pulls sheer-ish I think the brights and bolds would be a lot easier to wear than I anticipated. At this point I don’t think I’ll be hauling any more colors since summer launches are right around the corner and I’m interested in seeing other new things. I do like the look of some of the brighter glosses though which I think would be nice for summer.
I’m excited to share a look at the latest from Gucci Beauty with you! They recently started to revamp their entire makeup line and I was able to try their new Mascara L’Obscur available now online at Sephora. I’m partnering with them to share a review with you and after putting it to the test I am really pleased to report that I’ve found a winner. The mascara is a nice way to add luxury to your beauty routine.
The Gucci Mascara is currently available in one shade called Eve Black. It’s a rich deep color that defines and volumizes the lashes beautifully. Packaging is super chic with pink and gold tones which makes it a joy to use! The mascara comes with a rubberized flexible applicator that coats each lash perfectly. The small tip at the end makes it possible to apply product to the corners and bottom of the eyes. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was easy to build, adheres well to my lashes and adds volume and definition. There’s no clumping or smudging with this one which is a huge plus. Even though this isn’t a waterproof formula I found it stayed put and lasted all day on my lashes.
It gives a clean polished defined look to the eyes. You can build and layer for more drama but I would say this is a really nice everyday kind of mascara. I will definitely repurchase in the future.
A closer look below, also wearing the Rouge à Lèvres Voile Sheer Lipstick in The Painted Veil which I hauled recently and love! It’s a smooth sheer rose and now I want to try the other formulas too!
Sending everyone my best wishes right now! I hope you are all staying safe. We have been doing well here and doing more organizing/spring cleaning. If you’re looking for a way to spruce up your home with a good scent I have a roundup with some current favorites. I love good smelling candles or sprays to help lift the mood. We like to rotate through a lot of different scents. Here are some of my favorites right now.
________
Diptyque
Diptyque is my favorite candle brand of all time. The candles are quite the splurge but there’s nothing quite like the ones they have. I’ve tried so many different scents and have loved every single one. My favorite is Baies for year round which has a mix of roses and blackcurrant leaves. It’s fruity but not too sweet. For spring I also love Mimosa which is shown in the mini below. It’s a powdery floral with honey mix.
If you can’t burn candles in your home I highly recommend their room sprays. We love Figuier (sweet fig, and the best fig in my opinion) and Baies.
Diptyque also has a collection of City Candles which are typically only available in their respective city boutiques. Occasionally they will have them available online to purchase. My favorites are Paris, New York and Miami (reviewed here).
You can find Diptyque at a wide range of retailers although their boutiques and website will have the largest selection (they carry some exclusives).
My top five for spring include: Baies, Figuier, Mimosa, Aubepine and Santal.
Lumira is an Australian brand I discovered several years ago. Their Tahitian Coconut is the best sweet coconut candle I’ve ever tried and I have a stock pile at my home so I don’t run out. Notes include frangipani, jasmine, coconut, orange flower, mandarin, white musk and vanilla. Right now they have one Room Spray in Arabian Oud which is lovely if you like spicy scents with a mix of oud, rose, sandalwood, bergamot and amber. They have a lovely selection of Accessories as well and I love their Wick Trimmer.
________
Aesop Hand Wash + Room Sprays
For the best relaxing and calming room sprays both Andrew and I love Aesop. They launched three Room Sprays and each one is amazing. Andrew loves Olous the best while my favorite is Istros. Over the holiday they launched a mini trio which I think is super cute. You can still find it online at Aesop. The sprays have good through and lasting power is ok. It’s not going to last anywhere near as long as a candle or diffuser will but we still love them.
Scents include:
Olous notes are Galbanum, Grapefruit, Jasmine
Cythera notes are Geranium, Incense, Patchouli
Istros notes include Pink Pepper, Lavender, Tobacco
We also love their hand and body care products. While not really a home scent the hand washes add a nice touch to the home. The one I always repurchase is the Resurrection Hand Wash. They have some nice sets and we just bought the Melodist Home Set which has a full sized Olous spray.
________
Otherland
Otherland is a new brand I discovered recently. They have super cute packaging and unique scent options. They sent over their recent Carefree 90s candle launch and it really does take me back to my high school days! These are more affordably priced than luxury candles like Diptyque, Jo Malone or Cire Trudon and have very good throw.
Glosspop is a sweet scent described as a mix of strawberry gloss, hard candy and frosted rose – it’s sweet and fruity
Blue Jean Baby is a super fun mix of white musk and mimosa flower
Dreamlight is very nostalgic for me and I can’t quite put my finger on what makes me think of the 90s, but this one has a mix of freesia, plumeria and tangerine
________
Cire Trudon, Sisley and Byredo
Ending my round up with the ultimate in luxury for the home. Candles from Cire Trudon, Sisley and Byredo are quite the splurge. It took me a long time before I could talk myself into trying these in past years and once I did I saw for myself they 100% lived up to the hype.
I think Cire Trudon is the ultimate fragrance brand when it comes to candles. Ernesto is the best one with a mix of leather and tobacco. I usually buy their the holiday version every year (they come in special colored glass jars). I also love Positano for spring and for holiday Gabriel is beautiful!
They recently launched La Petite Bougie which is a mini 70 g version, available in six scents. It’s still very pricey at $42 but they’re super cute. They sent over the scent in Cyrnos which smells like a mix of lavender, thyme and cedarwood. It’s lovely! Full notes include lemon, myrtle, thyme, black fig, cedarwood, lavender, pink, cashmere wood, musk and patchouli.
Sisley fragrances don’t get enough love in my opinion. The Sisley Campagne Candle is one of the cleanest green scents I’ve tried and smells like the fresh outdoors. These are quite the splurge but the throw is quite incredible and I feel like they are very unique. Andrew loves this one because it smells fresh and clean. Notes include bergamot, lemon, basil, green tomato leaves, jasmine, plum, oak moss, patchouli, vetiver. I’ve tried minis of the body wash and body lotion in the same fragrance line and absolutely love it.
Byredo is also another amazing line. Bibliotheque is really unique for year round. It’s the only one I have left right now that hasn’t been used up. They have full sizes and minis. This one is a woody mix with patchouli and vanilla but also has noticeable fruity notes with peach to me. Notes include peach, plum, peony, violet, leather, patchouli and vanilla. For a couple lighter soft fresh options I think Cotton Poplin and Fleur Fantome are really nice florals that aren’t too powdery or too floral.
I know it’s challenging to purchase scents without smelling them in person. Even with lots of research on notes and comparisons there isn’t really anything that compares to experiencing scent in person. I hope this provides you with a helpful guide for my personal favorites. It’s been a while since I have bought a perfume without smelling it first, but I’m more likely to buy a candle sight unseen even though it is a bit risky.
What are you favorite home scents? Anything you love for spring or for year round?
Cire Trudon Petite Candle and Lumira scents provided for review/feature. All others purchased by me.
