Plum Lips to Try This Holiday Season

Plum Lips to try This Season

Happy Tuesday! I’ve been on a plum lip kick this holiday season and shared a video swatch roundup of some favorites on Instagram. For those who still prefer blog posts and still images this one is for you! I’ve been loving gloss and sheer plum lipsticks so the color is more forgiving when it fades throughout the day. Here are the ones I’ve tried and loved.

Plum Lip Color Swatches

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Gloss

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Gloss in Aperitivo is probably my favorite soft plum. It’s a smooth gloss that you can build easily. Feels comfortable on the lips, not sticky, lovely shine.

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Kir Sugar is another one I love. It’s a semi-thick gloss so it adheres really well to the lips. Has some sticky feeling but still very comfortable to wear. Since it’s a thicker formula this one lasts long on my lips. Has a bit of gold shimmer inside. I remember wearing the original formula in this color in my 20s!

Fenty Gloss Bomb

Fenty Gloss Bomb in Hot Chocolit is a sheer plum brown with a tiny bit of gold shimmer. In the tube it looks more brownish but on my lips it pulls more plum. I think this is my second favorite out of all the plums. Love layering this on top of Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk for a slightly more pinkish look.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Brown Sugar is another love. It’s a very sheer tinted balm and I love this formula. Also great when layered over a lip pencil or alone. I didn’t get a new photo of this one but you can see it on the lips here.

Hourglass Phantom Glossy Balm

The Hourglass Phantom Glossy Balm formula is another one I’ve really loved this year. Lure is a pretty cool-toned plum. They also have a pretty limited-edition Rouse, a reddish plum, which is part of the Holiday Duo (sold out online but still available in stores).

Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean Lip Balm

The plum shade most of you loved from my video is Westman Atelier’s Squeaky Clean Lip Balm in Lou Lou. I hope she brings this one out individually in the new year! For now it is exclusive to her Squeaky Clean Lip Vault (also reviewed here).

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey has made a comeback and I love it. I wore this one in the 90s and early 2000s in my high school days so I’m thrilled to see it again! They launched the Black Honey color in the Pop Plush Creamy Gloss formula but it keeps selling out (still available at Kohls and Belk).

Rare Beauty Kind Words Matte Lipstick

For lipsticks I bought the Rare Beauty Kind Words Matte Lipstick in Gifted (also available in a matching Lip Liner). This is a pretty dusty plum color that doesn’t pull too cool or too warm. Color has rich opaque coverage, smooth finish and decent lasting power. Other shades in this formula reviewed here.

Dior Burgundy

Last but not least is a look at the Dior Lip Glow and Lip Maximizer in Burgundy. The Lip Maximizer seems to have sold out nearly everywhere but you can still find the Lip Glow on Dior.com. Love this for a soft plum berry stain on the lips.

What shades are you wearing this holiday season? I’m still into the neutrals and soft pinks but think plum is a fun way to switch things up even for the neutral lip lover.

Fragrances I’m Loving Right Now

December 5, 2022

Tory Burch Essence of Dreams Cosmic Wood

I love trying new perfumes and today I have a holiday roundup of the fragrances I’ve been loving this holiday season. I’d love to hear about what you’re wearing right now so let me know in the comments what your go-to is!

Byredo Bal D’Afrique

Byredo Bal D'Afrique

Byredo Bal D’Afrique ($200 to $280) remains one of my all time unique favorites. It’s a warm creamy cozy scent I think is super unique. If you like scents that pull a little woody with an amber mix definitely check this one out. For those of you who don’t have a Byredo store or counter near you they have a few samplers you can order. Their Discovery Set ($50) has six of their best sellers and for the ultimate perfume lover La Grande Selection ($240) has 24 mini 2 ml vials. With the larger set they’ll send you a voucher for $200 to use towards any 50 ml or 100 ml scent on their website.

Top notes: bergamot, African marigold, bucchu
Middle notes: violet, cyclamen
Base notes: vetiver, Moroccan cedarwood

Phlur Somebody Wood & Missing Person

Phlur Missing Person Gift Set Duo Sephora

Phlur has won my heart this year with some beautiful soft scents. Missing Person ($96 or $98 for the duo) is one I wore non stop earlier this year. I have it in the travel size too and carry it in my purse. It’s one of the best soft floral musks. It has a natural skin like vibe with a mix of white musk. Also available in the Body Lotion and Shower Gel.

Top notes: Skin Musk, Bergamot Nectar, Sheer Jasmine
Heart notes: Fresh Cyclamen, Neroli Blossom, Orange Flower
Base notes: Sandalwood Australia Oil, Blonde Wood, White Musk

Phlur Somebody Wood

For fall to winter Somebody Wood* is my favorite. It’s unisex and I love the wood + musk combination. It’s not too heavy or woody and I love anything with a bergamot mix. I’ve used up the Shower Gel* and plan on ordering another one very soon.

Top notes: Bergamot, Lemon
Heart notes: Jasmine, Saffron, Cyclamen
Base notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla, Musk, Amber, Moss, Cedarwood

Both are available at Sephora and Phlur. If you can’t smell or test in person check out their Discovery Set at Sephora (seven scents) or all nine at Phlur.

Tory Burch Essence of Dreams

Tory Burch Essence of Dreams Cosmic Wood

Tory Burch launched their Essence of Dreams Fragrance line earlier this year and I love all five. Every scent in the lineup has a fresh and bright feel to them. They have an uplifting vibe. I bought the full sizes of Cosmic Wood and Electric Sky ($29 to $125). Right now I really love Cosmic Wood. If you like a soft floral woody spice with green notes definitely check that one out.

Top: cardamom, ambrette
Middle: jasmine, sage
Base: vetiver

They now carry the Discovery Set ($65) at Nordstrom which I think would make a really cute gift. Each scent is also available in a small travel spray version and Nordstrom has an Essence of Dreams Trio Set ($50) with Sublime Rose, Divine Moon and Electric Sky.

Tory Burch Essence of Dreams Discovery Set

Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt

Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt

Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt will forever be a signature scent for me. There are lots of fun discovery sets this holiday season and a lot of them are on sale. Nordstrom has the Cologne Collection Set ($115, marked down to $97.75) with English Pear & Fresia Cologne, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Wild Bluebell, Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Blackberry & Bay. They also carry the Cologne Intense Collection ($160) with Cypress & Grapevine Cologne Intense, Myrrh & Tonka, Velvet Rose & Oud, Dark Amber & Ginger Lily and Oud & Bergamot.

The Jo Malone website often has nice extra deluxe size samples with orders that change frequently. I ordered their Christmas Cologne Collection ($115) which has newer scents that I’m excited to try out.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Scented Candle

Maison Francis Kurkdjian is another perfume line I really love. Their Baccarat Rouge 540 is a classic rich creamy and unique scent. I bought the smaller 1.17 oz version which is nice to travel with or have in your purse. Notes include jasmine, saffron, cedar wood and ambergris. I’m really tempted to try the Shimmering Body Oil!

I tried their newest 724 Eau de Parfum earlier this year and really love it. It has a very similar feel to Aqua Universalis which I still have a lot left of so I didn’t buy it. It has a nice fresh clean feel.

Creed

Creed Holiday 2022 Green Irish Tweed

Creed has a special place in my heart because it’s Andrew’s favorite. It’s pretty much the only cologne line he wears these days and he always smells amazing. His favorites are Aventus, Green Irish Tweed* and Silver Mountain Water. This year they have beautiful leather cases* in a limited-edition royal blue and a refillable atomizer*. I bought Andrew the 5-piece Fragrance Set for Christmas so he can have them on-the-go. I’m tempted to buy the women’s version for myself.

I have a few favorites too. I love Virgin Island Water for spring to summer. Aventus for Her* is a newer discovery for me which I started wearing this year and I love it.

Creed Aventus for Her

Top notes: Egyptian green apple, pink berries, Indonesian patchouli, Italian bergamot.
Middle notes: Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, Indian sandalwood, styrax, musk.
Base notes: sweet peach, cassis, lilac, amber, ylang-ylang.

Creed Sublime Vanille

The best vanilla scent is their Sublime Vanille* which is a soft powdery vanilla and tonka bean mix.

Top notes: Tonka Bean, Vanilla from Comoros (Africa)
Middle notes: Lemon, White Bergamot
Base notes: Musk, Tonkin

Best Holiday Luxury Candles

November 30, 2022

Best Holiday Candles Diptyque Sapin

I love candles year-round but especially love holiday scents! A great cozy scent can set the mood and make things feel more festive. There are so many great options this year my wishlist is so incredibly long. My usual go-to’s are Diptyque Sapin, Vanille, Santal, Amber, Nest Holiday and Byredo Woods. I’ve tried a few new ones this year I think are worth checking out. Here are my favorites so far.

Diptyque Holiday

Diptyque Sapin Candle Holiday 2022

You girls know how much I love Diptyque. I order their holiday candles almost every year and I think they make the best pine scents. This year their holiday candles ($48 – $84) also glow in the dark (the box does too!). Sapin (Pine Tree) is a classic and I love the packaging design this year.

Etincelles (Spark) is described as a mix of wood fire, coffee and chocolate but to me it smells more like a woody spice.

Diptyque Etincelles Candle Holiday 2022

Neige (Snow) is a white powdery musk that does indeed remind me of snow. I love these so much and think the Holiday Trio (with small size) would make an absolutely stunning gift.

Diptyque Neige Candle Holiday 2022

I’ve splurged on so many of their home décor pieces and love every single one. This year the Diptyque team gifted me their Constellation Candle Holder which is gorgeous! If it’s in your budget I think it’s definitely worth a splurge.

Diptyque Constellation Candle Holiday 2022

From their regular lineup there are so many great scents. I love Santal, Ambre, Feu de Bois and Vanille this time of year. Their larger 3-wick candles are stunning too and have stronger throw than their regular standard candles.

Byredo

Byredo Symphonique Candle Holiday 2022

I tried the new Byredo Symphonique candle this year and thing it is beautiful. It has a mix of bitter orange and anise with ginger and cedarwood mixed in. It smells like a smokey spiced orange. Diptyque’s Oranger by comparison has a softer more powdery vibe.

Creed

Creed Vanisia Candles Holiday 2022

Creed candles are the best of the best in luxury. Vanisia is a soft powdery vanilla and amber mix. I splurged on the 7.7 oz variation ($115) which I’ve been burning at home because I love their Vanisia Room Spray. This holiday the Creed team generously gifted me the 3-wick Leather Candle. It’s available in 2 sizes and comes with their limited-edition bright blue leather holder. It’s stunning!

Creed Vanisia Leather Candle Holiday 2022

Overose

Overose launched delicious candles this year in a number of pastry inspired scents. They smell just like the real thing. I am still working my way through trying the ones I ordered. I really love Croissant Aux Amandes ($58) which buttery sweet but not too sweet. Definitely check out their new options this year – they have Pain Au Chocolat, Croissant, Cinnamon Roll and Macaron Pistache.

Overose Croissant Aux Amandes

Maison Francis Kurkdjian

Maison Francis Kurkdjian has three holiday scents this year. I must admit this is a brand I try not to look at because of the high price points, I don’t want to be tempted! My bestie gifted me the Pain d’Spices Candle ($75) and it’s decadent! It has a mix of orange, honey and cinnamon. So good I want to eat it. It has very good throw too.

Masion Francis Kurkdjian Pain d'Spices

Phlur

Phlur launched two holiday candles this year and they do not disappoint. Sweet Smoke ($45) is one of the most amazing smoky candles I’ve ever burned. It’s hard to envision what sweet smoke smells like but they nailed it. It’s a creamy sweet firewood kind of scent. Wild Balsam was a sweet surprise too and I think it just might be the best pine and juniper candle I have ever burned. I’ve already finished one up entirely. I am debating whether to order a couple more because Andrew was really impressed by it too. Love the colored wax with these!

Phlur Holiday Candles Sweet Smoke and Wild Balsam

Mizensir

Last but not least I love Mizensir candles. I loved their Bois Ardent from last year as a really nice smoky woody scent.

Mizensir Bois Ardent Candle

This year the team sent over Sapin de Noel which smells just like Christmas! It’s available in a standard size, 3-wick size and colored glass version. You can use code SABRINA15 to save 15% off your order from their website.

Mizensir Sapin de Noel

I have so many others on my list but there is not enough time to try them all. I am really curious about the Nest Crystallized Ginger and Vanilla Bean (which I am picking up soon). Jo Malone always has fun options this time of year. Boy Smells has some really nice options too.

If you had your eye on any of these I hope this roundup is helpful! What are your favorites this time of year?

15 Luxury Gift Ideas Everyone Will Love For the Home

November 11, 2022

Luxury Gift Ideas for the Home

Sharing a roundup today of some Luxury Gift Ideas that will elevate the home! I think these are universally loved and will fit into anyone’s home regardless of style or taste. You can find all of these available at Nordstrom. They have lots of great gift ideas at every price point.

Holiday Gift Ideas from Nordstrom

Jo Malone and Diptyque Room Sprays
Room sprays are such a great way to refresh the home. They are a nice alternative to candles and I finally splurged on the Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin Room Spray which is a classic fresh clean scent. It’s one I think is a signature Jo Malone scent so unique and lovely.

I’m a huge fan of Diptyque Room Sprays too. They have very good throw and the scents have a high quality feel to them. Baies is a classic blackcurrant and rose scent I think everyone will love but Gingembre is fun for the holiday season.

Jo Malone Travel Candle Trio and Accessory Set

Jo Malone has lots of great sets during this time of year. I spotted the Travel Candle Trio and Accessory Set which comes with Pine and Eucalyptus, Line Basil and Mandarin, English Pear and Freesia and a decorative lantern. I think it’s such a fun set to gift. For those who want continuous scent the Jo Malone Diffusers are also really beautiful.

Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin Scent Surround Diffuser

I have collected Diptyque candles for as long as I can remember and I look forward to every holiday launch. The holiday designs are different every year which makes them extra special. My favorite is Sapin (pine). It’s one I love to light every Christmas. Neige is a lovely powdery white musk and Etincelles is a spicy scent. These are also available in the small size and a cute Holiday Trio Set.

Diptyque Holiday Candles 2022 Sapin, Neige, Etincelles

Luxury hand care is always a treat whether it’s a fancy hand cream or hand wash. I’ve gifted the Diptyque Softening Hand Wash to numerous people in my life but never bought one for myself. Andrew’s favorite is the Le Labo Hinoki Hand Wash and his is running low in his bathroom so I bought this to surprise him since he loves anything in beautiful fancy packaging.

Diptyque Softening Hand Wash

They also make an Exfoliating Hand Wash and a Velvet Hand Lotion in similar style glass bottles which I have my eye on. I think any of these would make great gifts for even the pickiest person on your holiday list. Love that these also have refills you can purchase separately.

Byredo Suede Hand Wash and Lotion

Byredo makes some lovely scents for hand care as well. I love the Suede Hand Wash scent for a nice warm and cozy kind of fragrance. I sometimes will use it as a body wash because it smells so good. I wish they’d make this into a candle or perfume! Also available in a Hand Lotion.

Slip Silk Mask and Jo Malone Pillow Spray

A fancy silk sleep mask is another great gift idea. I love the ones from Slip. They’re 100% worth the splurge and come in a number of different colors. You can always pair it with a pillow mist. I love the Jo Malone Moonlit Chamomile spray but the Lavender and Moonflower is also lovely.

Tory Burch Essence of Dreams Discovery Set

This year Tory Burch launched perfumes and they released the Essence of Dreams Discovery Set this season! A perfume sampler is always fun to try out. I think any of these mini perfume sets are great for the fragrance lover.

Venus Et Fleur Classic Le Mini Round

Venus Et Fleur is guaranteed to impress! They make preserved roses that really do last a year (for me some have lasted even longer). The Classic Le Mini Round comes in a number of different color combinations for the base and rose. I love that you have lots of options to choose from. The arrangements are quite the splurge but the single roses are more affordable for gifting to special friends or to treat yourself.

I also wanted to give more love to the Casper Glow Lights. I’ve written about these before and can’t rave enough about them. They’re quite expensive but I love how easy and portable these lights are. Simply flip it over to turn it on. They are also rechargable and you can control the brightness by twisting it. Both Andrew and I love them and think they would make great gifts.

Jo Malone Moonlit Camomile Pillow Mist

Holiday Gift Ideas for the Hostess and Home

That wraps up my gift guide with favorite home scents and gift ideas! I think any of these would make nice hostess gifts too. Would love to hear what you gift during the holiday! Let me know in the comments!

ghd Platinum+ 1” Styler Smooth Sleek Hair

Many of you have asked for gift ideas for the best value beauty sets and I think hair care is one of the categories with the best options. I think hair care sets or tools are a no-fail option – every single person I know is always looking for a great hair mask or new tool to try. One of my favorite beauty gifts of all time was the Dyson Airwrap Styler (original version) which I use nearly every day.

With the Sephora sale in full swing I wanted to highlight my favorites in haircare. It’s a nice time to save on gift sets or something you wanted for yourself. I’ve split up my favorites by category. Use code SAVINGS at checkout to save:

  • Rouge Members save 20% off 10/28 to 11/7
  • VIB Members save 15% off 11/1 to 11/7

Hair Tools

ghd Platinum+ 1” Styler Curled Hair

Here are my favorite hair styling tools:

  • ghd Platinum+ Styler – 1″ Flat Iron Gift Set with Paddle Brush & Heat Resistant Bag ($279)– This is my go-to hair styling tool for a sleek smooth hair look or easy curls. This holiday they have it in a value gift set with their Paddle Brush + Travel Case (love!!!). For those who want to see it in action you can see my natural hair state in this video. This really makes a huge difference!
  • ghd Paddle Brush ($35) – This is available in the gift set listed above and individually, I really love it. It’s the perfect size and and weight. Love that it’s sturdy and well made.
  • Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer ($429)– Love this for a good blow out. This is smaller than the Airwrap which makes it easier to travel with. I’ve had mine since 2017 and still love it to this day.
  • Dyson Airwrap Styler ($599) – I have the original of this and think it’s the best of the best. So many options with the attachments, easy to use, however if you don’t really curl your hair, opt for the Supersonic.
  • T3 AirLuxe Hair Dryer ($199.99) or Afar Lightweight Hair Dryer ($179.99) – While I think the Dyson is the best of the best, I understand it’s not in everyone’s budget. T3 also makes great tools (both of these are under $200). I’ve gifted these to friends and it definitely has a WOW factor.

Oribe Home & Away Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo & Conditioner Set

I rotate frequently with hair care as there are so many great formulas out these days. My top 4 brands from Sephora include Oribe, Olaplex, Kerastase and Briogeo. There are different formulas for different hair types and needs. These are my most repurchased formulas:

Hair Masks

I have to admit I’ve been neglecting hair masks this year but I started using them again and noticed a world of difference in smoothness and shine. These are my favorites

Heat Protectant/Leave In/Primers

Kerastase Serum Chroma Thermique Hair Serum

Since I use heat tools on a regular basis a leave in conditioner, primer or heat protectant is essential. There are tons of options and I know it can get overwhelming on which one to use and when. Here are my favorites and when I use them (a lot of these are versatile):

New Beauty Launches for Fall

New Fall Beauty Launches Nordstrom

Fall beauty is trickling in and I have a mini haul with first impressions to share with picks from Nordstrom Beauty today! So many of you expressed interest in the new foundation from Westman Atelier and the Cle de Peau lipstick reformulation. I’m excited to have swatches and thoughts to share with you today!

Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Foundation & Stick Foundation Review VI

The Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Foundation is one of the most requested products to review and I ordered Shade VI to try. I picked it based on the color I use in the Vital Skin Foundation Stick and it’s a perfect match.

The Vital Skincare Complexion Foundation is one of the most dewy radiant bases I’ve tried. It has very natural coverage and is sheerer than the stick formula. I would say this is for normal to dry or dry skin types. It gives the skin a fresh faced glow. I like to use this layered with the stick foundation for more coverage and absolutely need to set with a powder. I like how natural it looks and skin feels well hydrated with this formula. For me it is a good layering base. I personally need more coverage to even out my skin so this is not one I can wear alone. Lasting power is pretty good for something this dewy – as long as I set with a powder well it stays looking fresh through the early afternoon without any touch ups needed.

Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Foundation & Stick Foundation Review VI

Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Foundation Shade VI

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Concealer

There are quite a few new concealers out and I think the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Concealer just might be one of my favorites. I wear either Shade 6 or 7 neutral in her Beautiful Skin Foundation so I ordered the concealer in Shades 6, 6.5 and 7.5 to try. The colors seem to run a lot lighter than the corresponding number for the foundations but they do warm up a bit on the skin once they set. Shade 6 is what I like for brightening under the eyes and it turned out to be warmer and a bit darker than 6.5.

I love the buildable coverage. It blends out nicely and brightens my under eye perfectly. Love that it doesn’t cake or crease. Lasting power is excellent. It’s pretty much everything I want in an under eye concealer.

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Concealer

I have it swatched below next to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealers, Cle de Peau Concealer and the YSL Touche Eclat Concealer.

Concealer Swatches Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Cle de Peau, YSL

Cle de Peau has reformulated quite a few of their items and I ordered one of the Luminizing Face Enhancers in Shade 203 to try. I own this color in the older formula and am really impressed with the new one. It has more pigment and shimmer payoff compared to the original. The new one is still natural looking on the skin for a radiant multi-dimensional shimmer.

Cle de Peau Luminizing Face Enhancers in Shade 203

For the eyes I’ve been loving all the new Chanel launches. The Chanel Les 4 Ombres Tweed Palettes are stunning. For fall I think the Shade 02 Tweed Pourpre has a lovely mix of purples for the season. I rarely wear purples but this one ended up being very wearable for me. I also picked up the new Les 4 Ombres 58 Intensite which keeps selling out but I highly recommend tracking it down when it restocks! It has a neutral-cool toned color palette for plums. I swatched it next to Warm Memories for comparison.

wearing Chanel Les 4 Ombres Intensite below

Chanel Les 4 Ombres Intensite

The Chanel Noir Allure Mascara is a winner for me! It comes in the same style as the Rouge Allure Lipsticks in the most beautiful pop up case. I like the formula although I don’t think it will be for everyone. It’s a nice defining mascara that doesn’t clump or smudge. It holds the curl nicely but there are other formulas that are better at volumizing and thickening (like the Le Volume de Chanel).

Cle de Peau Lipstick Reformulation 2022

Cle de Peau Lipstick Reformulation 2022

Cle de Peau Lipstick 11 Triumphant Tawny

Cle de Peau Lipstick 12 Power Mauve

Cle de Peau Lipstick 13 Positively Playful

Cle de Peau Shine Lipstick 211 Influential

Last but not least I have a quick look at the new reformulated Cle de Peau Lipsticks. I tried all three formulas in their Regular Lipstick, Lipstick Matte and Lipstick Shine. I’ve always thought Cle de Peau foundations were well worth the splurge but had mixed feelings about their lipsticks until now. The reformulation is incredible. At $65 each these are very spendy but the pigment is just beautiful. They have a smooth texture, rich color payoff and a lovely finish. Great lasting power and colors. The shines are sheerer than the other formulas but they have a beautiful glossy finish.

I have four of them on the lips below. My favorite is 13 Positively Playful although 11 Triumphant Tawny is a beautiful nude pink.

August Favorites | The Beauty Lookbook

I can’t believe another month has flown by! Rounding up my favorites for the month of August. Would love to hear about your favorites too!

Chanel Beauty Favorites

Chanel has been hitting it out of the park these days! My go-to base is the Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch (still wearing B40). I’m nearly finished with my first bottle. Below wearing the Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch in B40 + the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder in No 20. Full review here.

Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch in B40 + the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder in No 20

The new Rouge Allure Lipsticks have been solid winners for me too. I’ve been loving shades 194 and 196 the most. Below wearing 194. Swatches of all the colors I hauled here.

Chanel Rouge Allure 194 Sensibilite

I’m still a neutral nail lover at heart these days. Out of all the new neutral shades that launched Harmonie is by best beige neutral. Swatches here. Stay tuned for more Chanel newness on the blog! I have the Tweed Palettes and new mascara review coming soon!

Chanel Le Vernis 937 Harmonie swatch

For more color I think the Gucci Glow and Care Shine Lipstick in They Met in Argentina is the perfect healthy warm pink color. I love this formula in general – other great shades include Sally Soft Honey, Julie Blush, My Cousin Rachel and Call It a Day.

Gucci Gorgeous Flora Glow and Care Shine Lipstick in They Met in Argentina

For eyes I rediscovered my Charlotte Tilbury Exaggereyes Eyeshadow Palette after buying the Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Shadow in Exaggereyes. The color theme is the same between the palette vs. single cream pot. Both make for a lovely neutral polished eye look.

Charlotte Tilbury Exaggereyes Eyeshadow Palette + Cream Shadow

The Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Eyeliners are pretty much the only eyeliners I wear these days. I love the buttery soft texture to line the eyes. The colors are ultra rich and pigmented. Since they are creamy I set with a powder shadow on top to help extend the wear. I use Cocoa and Black.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Eyeliners

I received a PR package with the Phlur Missing Person mini perfume along with the Shower Gel and Body Lotion and fell head over heels in love. I ordered the full size Missing Person perfume from Sephora and have been wearing it non-stop. It’s a lovely floral musk you can wear year round. Has a natural almost skin-like vibe to it.

Phlur Missing Person

UBeauty Plasma Lip, Biossance Oil, Hermes Nail Oil

For added hydration I’ve been really loving the U Beauty The Plasma Lip Compound for a lip treatment. I’ve been using the Biossance Squalane+ Vitamin C Rose Firming Oil at night and absolutely love it. Skin is noticeably more radiant and hydrated! They carry some good travel/trial sets I highly recommend checking out (like the Rapid Radiance Set for $35 or the Radiantly Rose Duo Set for $25).

The Hermes Les Main Hermes Nourishing Oil has been in heavy rotation for my cuticles for months now and I think it’s 100% worth the splurge. It has been hard to find as it sells out frequently but is currently in stock at Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Hermes.

Yves Durif Petite Vented Brush and Balmain Hair Clips

The Yves Durif Vented Brush now comes in a petite size and I ordered it recently from Saks. It’s just a tiny bit smaller than the regular version but just as good. I like having smaller options to travel with so this is perfect for me.

A lot of you shared lots of love for the Balmain Hair Clips I featured a couple months ago. I ordered the Medium size from Neiman Marcus and it sold out immediately. I just saw the Medium Tortoise pop up at Saks Fifth Avenue and ordered another Medium in Black and a couple Small Clips in White and Tortoise. These are really well made. I still don’t know how I justified the steep price tag in my mind but they’re really beautiful and I love them.

Bottega Veneta Mini Loop Bag in White

A few style loves this month I wanted to highlight! My love for mini bags continues although since upgrading my iPhone to the 13 Pro I’ve now found a few of my bags don’t fit my phone. The Bottega Veneta Mini Loop Bag luckily still fits my phone! This was a summer splurge and I still love it. The leather is soft and I love the woven design. I’m really beyond surprised I’ve managed to keep it clean (no stains or smudges!) without any effort. The leather has held up really well. They have this same style in a larger option which seems more practical.

My obsession with Celine sunglasses continues and my favorite pair are the 52 mm Oval in Blonde Havana (ones in the middle below). I ordered mine from the Celine website.

I feel like I live in sandals and slides here in Florida, but I do also love comfortable sneakers. A number of you asked if I found the Veja Venturi Sneakers comfortable and I do! They’re chunky but not too chunky. I read reviews and went with a Size US 6/37 EUR (I’m a true 6.5 or 7 in other shoes). They fit well and there was no break in period. Available at Revolve, Free People, Shopbop.

Ollie is now 7 months old! We are still wondering if he’s full grown yet. It’s 15.7 pounds and they say he will be anywhere from 14-20 pounds.

That wraps up this month’s favorites! What did you love this month?
