Victoria Beckham Beauty Finishing Touch Collection

Victoria Beckham Beauty Finishing Touch Collection

For holiday Victoria Beckham Beauty launched a limited-edition set called VB’s Finishing Touch Collection ($150) with 5 full sized items in a roll up tie-pouch. I’ve really loved a lot of what I’ve tried from her beauty line! This holiday set had products and colors I haven’t tried yet so I was really excited to order this.

Inside we have:

  • Posh Gloss in Martini (new, sheer glittering champagne)
  • Satin Kajal Liner in Olive
  • EyeWear Shadow Stick in Oyster
  • Reflect Highlighter in Pearl
  • Double-sided compact mirror

Right now you can find the Satin Kajal, EyeWear and Reflect Highlighter individually. The gloss and mirror are currently exclusive to the set.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Compact Mirror

The new Posh Gloss in Martini is very sheer. It’s described as glittering champagne and I love the smooth texture and glossy finish but on my lips it’s almost clear. If you want something that shows up better I’d recommend Fenty Champ Stamp Fantasy or Anastasia Beverly Hills Peachy.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Gloss Martini

I’ve really liked the Satin Kajal liner (I wear black all the time) and her EyeWear but hadn’t tried the Olive liner or Oyster shadow. Both are really beautiful shades I think would make great staples. I rarely ever wear green but the olive in the liner is very pretty and color is dark.

You girls know that highlighter sticks are usually a miss for me because I really can’t get that dewy cheek look to last on my skin. I find most too dewy, too sticky and too emollient but this Reflect Highlighter from Victoria Beckham Beauty is the best one I’ve tried. It is dewy and adds a glow but there is a slight dry down so it doesn’t feel too sticky on the skin. I’m ordering the other shade immediately.

I also recently tried her new Vast Lash Mascara. I ordered it from her website and think it’s a really nice tubing formula. I still prefer the Tarte Tartlette Tubing Mascara for holding the curl but this one from VBB is very good.

We are currently traveling in Miami and I brought quite a few VBB products with me! Wanted to share what I packed from her line (I brought much more from other brands, will try to do a packing roundup when we get back home). I love her Lid Lustre in Honey and Posh Gloss in Bungalow. Also love her Contour Stick.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Finishing Touch Collection

Overall I really love the Final Touch Holiday Set. I don’t think the gloss is a must because it’s SO sheer, so for that reason I won’t call the set a must-have. That being said I do love the other items in it, I think I will get a lot of use out of everything.

Did you try this set or anything in it? Have you tried Victoria Beckham Beauty? What did you think?

Victoria Beckham Beauty Haul: Posh Gloss, Cheeky Posh + Lid Lustre

Victoria Beckham Beauty Haul: Posh Gloss, Cheeky Posh + Lid Lustre

I have a Victoria Beckham Beauty haul to share today! She launched a lip gloss formula called Posh Gloss in nudes a while ago and so many of you have asked for a review and swatches. The colors seemed to greige/brown for my taste but when I saw she launched her Posh Gloss Spritz in pink shades I decided to give them a try.

I also have a look at her Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Sticks and a few of the Lid Lustre colors. Overall I’m really impressed.

Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Sticks

Victoria Beckham Beauty Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Sticks

I’m beyond impressed with the Victoria Beckham Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Sticks ($42 each). It took me forever to try since I’m typically not a cream blush fan. Whenever a new cream blush formula is launched, I’m usually not interested. Most creams do not do well on my skin and I find they become super dewy oil slick within minutes.

These have a really nice dry down with a soft velvety texture that’s creamy but not too creamy. Pigment is medium but can be sheered out. They do remain a tiny bit creamy on the skin, when the hot humid weather arrives I don’t think they’ll be super long wearing but for now they have pretty good lasting power on me.

Every single color is perfect to me. The lightest one is a bit pale on my skin but I like it mixed with the other shades. I can’t pick a favorite. They’re all phenomenal.

  • Knickers is a soft peach
  • Playground is a brown pink nude
  • Major is a soft pink mauve
  • Rollerskate is a hot pink (LOVE this one)
  • Miniskirt is a berry rose brown

Victoria Beckham Beauty Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Stick swatches

If I could say one bad thing about them it would be the price. They’re a bit steep given the size but I really like the product and packaging (twist up style).

Posh Gloss

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Gloss

The Posh Gloss ($28) is a beautiful gloss formula! It’s smooth and glossy without any tacky/sticky feel. You can layer for a bit more coverage but in general they have medium pigment. I was surprised how wearable the colors are. Even the nudes. They have no detectable scent. My favorites are Bungalow and Fizz. Lasting power is pretty good for a gloss. They don’t slide off or fade quickly, but they will transfer and won’t last through a meal (at least for me).

  • Bikini is a pale light beige
  • Tan Lines is a neutral tan beige
  • Poolside is a 90s brown with a tiny hint of rose
  • Picante is a peachy pink
  • Bungalow is a perfect petal pink
  • Fizz is a neutral cool rose mauve
  • Aperitivo is a warm rose plum

On the lips below with a coordinating cream blush or bronzer. I’m wearing her Lid Lustre in Honey + Chiffon mixed with her Satin Kajal Eyeliner in Black. For skintone reference I’m wearing Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow in B40.

Lid Lustre

Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre

Last we have a look at three of her Lid Lustres ($36 each). I really love these. They’re sparkling pressed powder shadows that you can apply with a finger or brush. I love the multi-dimensional shimmers and they adhere well to the eyes with minimal fallout. Pigment is easy to control and layer. I hauled Honey and Tea Rose quite some time ago but couldn’t remember if I had swatched them. I think those are the two best shades she has.

She recently added Starlight (khaki gold) and Chiffon (champagne quartz). I immediately ordered Chiffon but hadn’t used it until this week. It’s pure love. I’m hoping she continues to expand the colors for this formula because it’s SO good. Shimmer is noticeable but more finely milled and less glitzy compared to the Hourglass Scattered Light Eyeshadows (which I still really love).

Overall a huge haul success in my book. I love everything I tried this round (which hasn’t always been the case in the past). More Victoria Beckham Beauty reviews by clicking on the VBB Category.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Matte Bronzing Bricks + New Bitten Lip Tint in Amour

June 15, 2021

Victoria Beckham Beauty Haul

I have some Victoria Beckham Beauty newness to share! She recently added new Bronzer Duos to her line and a new shade of the Bitten Lip Tint in Amour. I also tried out some more of her eye products so I thought I’d add that to the roundup today as well.

Matte Bronzing Brick

Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Bricks Shade 02 and 03

There are five duos of the Matte Bronzing Brick ($58 each) and they also come in a refill format as well. These come in a hefty mirrored compact. If you’re familiar with her Smoky Eye Brick Eyeshadow Palettes, the Bronzers are significantly bigger in compact size.

The bronzers are in a powder formula with two shades. A lighter one to add warmth and a deeper one for contour or mixing. These are matte and smooth. Based on her shade charts I thought I would probably be either Shade 02 and Shade 03. After testing both I prefer the lighter option Shade 02 even though I have medium tan skin tones.

Shade 02 is a more neutral tan duo for light to medium skin tones.

Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Brick 02

Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Brick 02 and Bitten Lip Tint Cherie

Above wearing:

Shade 03 pulls warmer and more tan and pulls a little dark on me for my bronze preference. Wearing the same as above but with the Bitten Lip Tint in Amour.

Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Brick 03

Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Brick 03 and Amour Lip Tint

Powders are matte so they do look flat on my skin alone. They look best when layered with your blush and highlighter for dimension and sculpting. When combined with blush etc. I like how they warm up the complexion.

I liked that they didn’t darken too much on the skin (a lot of matte bronzers do). Lasting power is very good. In terms of all the bronzing powder formulas I’ve tried, I still prefer the texture and wear of Tom Ford, NARS or Hourglass because they have a little bit of shimmer or glow.

Swatches below next to Tom Ford Gold Dust and NARS Laguna:

Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Brick swatches 02 and 03

I applied mine with the Chanel Powder Brush No 106 (one of my favorites). Overall I think they are just as described. They’re good, but I wouldn’t call them the best.

Bitten Lip Tint

Victoria Beckham Bitten Lip Tint in Amour

I reviewed the Bisou Bitten Lip Tint ($36) when the line launched (review here). I really liked the concept but the color didn’t work for me. She recently added a new shade in Amour* which is much better for me. It’s a 90s like soft peachy brown with an almost diffused watercolor wash finish. I decided to also give Cherie a try which is a lighter variation of Bisou. Cherie is a sheer rose but darkens on my lips to an almost berry color. I think it’s a classic kind of berry rose.

Both will stain the lips and has better lasting power than a lipstick. You can layer them with a lip pencil for more color or depth. These have a gel-like finish and texture that has a dry down. I’m still not the biggest fan of lip stains but I really do like Amour.

Smoky Eye Brick

Victoria Beckham Smokey Eye Brick in Silk and Honey

There have been so many raves about the Smoky Eye Bricks ($56) I decided to try two of them. They didn’t live up to the hype for me but the quality and pigment is still pretty good. Silk has a mix of gold shimmers and one plum shimmer. I really love the multi-dimensional quality, texture and color payoff but the gold had too much yellow for my skin tone. Tweed is an all-matte palette with some lovely everyday kind of mattes. I love tones like these – it has a similar vibe to the Chanel Candeur Et Experience. The texture of the Chanel quad is better and smoother while the Victoria Beckham matte is a little bit dry but I can make it work.

Overall fun to play with. If you can wear yellow golds Silk is beautiful! I wish they made something with a little bit more warmth or something more neutral with the same shimmers. I just ordered the Patrick TA Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette which I think will be more of what I’m looking for.

Lid Lustres

Victoria Beckham Lid Lustres Honey and Tea Rose

In my initial haul I really loved the Mink Lid Lustre ($36) and I was really looking forward to seeing new colors. The newer shades were released sometime last year in Honey (shimmering honey gold) and Tea Rose (plum gold rose shimmer). Both of these are beautiful! You can wear them alone or layered. These have pearl pigments in a pressed powder format. In my experience they apply best with fingers in a patting motion. They are easy to blend and layer and stay put pretty well on the lids. Swatches below, also next to a few of the Hourglass Scattered Light Eyeshadows (still my favorite sparkly toppers).

Victoria Beckham Lid Lustres Honey and Tea Rose swatches vs Hourglass Scattered Light

Overall love the new Lid Lustres and Bitten Lip Tints in Amour and Cherie. The quads didn’t live up to the hype from what I’ve seen in other reviews. I didn’t know what to expect from the Matte Bronzing Bricks as I’m usually not a huge fan of matte bronzers. I like the concept and will wear Shade 02 to warm up the complexion and add some depth. I still prefer something with a bit of glow when it comes to powder formulas, but if you’re looking for a matte option to try, this might be just the one for you.

That wraps up my Victoria Beckham Beauty haul! Have you tried anything from the line? What did you think so far? Available online at Victoria Beckham Beauty, Violet Grey and Net-A-Porter.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Lipstick Review

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Lipstick Review | The Beauty Look Book

Victoria Beckham Posh Lipsticks recently launched and I could not be more excited! She launched nine colors of hydrating lipsticks and I ordered six of them from her website Victoria Beckham Beauty. The lipsticks seem to be an exclusive on her website for the time being, but you can also find her products at a few other places like Violet Grey and Net-A-Porter. Her Posh Lipsticks come in a slim twist up tube and retail for $38 each.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Lipstick Review | The Beauty Look Book

The formula is ultra smooth and creamy. They glide on the lips in a beautiful way and have a slight waxy feel. I would say coverage is sheer-medium with most of the colors except the darker ones which have medium pigment. A few swipes back and forth covers the lip entirely with a natural sheen. Finish-wise I would say they’re somewhere in between lightweight and heavy – but they are really comfortable. Lasting power is ok – they fade within a few hours but these days I don’t mind something that doesn’t last super long since I have to take off lip color anyways anytime I wear a mask. To extend the wear or have more pigment, I’d definitely recommend layering with a lip pencil.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Lipstick | The Beauty Look Book

I skipped the lightest shade, the red and one of the browns. All the colors are creams (no shimmer). I think they’re beautiful everyday kinds of classics! I have a lot of natural pigment in my lips so if your lips aren’t as dark, these will show up a lot better on your lips/complexion. While I was able to get full coverage I still feel like my natural lip showed through a little.

Colors I hauled:

  • Girl is a light pink beige cream
  • Spice is a brown beige ginger
  • Pout is a sheer light pink peach
  • Pose is a muted mauve
  • Sway is a soft mauve berry
  • Play is a deeper wine plum

VBB Posh Lipstick Review | SABRINA

Girl and Pout are both a bit too light for my natural lip color but if I wear a lip pencil underneath and blend first I can make them work. I love the look of Spice even though it pulls a bit brown on my skin. My favorites are Pose and Sway. Based on my swatching experience I think Fringe (a brown shade I skipped) might have been a good one too!

Overall experience is positive for me and I’m happy with my haul picks. I love the sleek slim packaging and even though these are on the spendy side I do think they were worth ordering. I would have liked to see more color options in the medium color range (versus the pale or deep end) – but I think this is a great start to the lineup. They perform well, texture is beautiful, pigment is sheer but lovely. They’re a great no-fuss kind of classic lip that offers hydration and sheer medium coverage.

Formula-wise I wouldn’t call these the best of the best simply because I prefer colors with a little more pigment but I think they are very good. For me my heart still belongs to the Pat McGrath lineup because of the color selection and pigment. I also prefer the Chantecaille Lip Veils (for pigment and color selection).

Victoria Beckham Beauty Haul

December 10, 2019

Victoria Beckham Beauty Review

I have a Victoria Beckham Beauty haul to share today! Everything looked so beautiful in a polished yet effortless kind of way and I was really curious to see what they looked like in person. This is the first time I’ve tried anything from a Victoria Beckham Beauty line. Past launches with Estee Lauder always sold out so fast, I felt like I blinked and everything was gone. Her current collection can be found on her website Victoria Beckham Beauty and also at Violet Grey.

I ordered directly from her website and everything arrived relatively fast for standard shipping. Products came in a white drawstring bag and everything was well packed/protected. I have on item in the haul that I’m not reviewing yet which is her Cell Rejuvenating Moisturizer because I need more time to test. First impressions are positive from me but more on this later.

Lip Definer

Victoria Beckham Beauty Lip Definer

Her Lip Definers were the products that interested me the most. I ordered Shades 01, 02, 03 and 04. They’re smooth full coverage lip pencils in shades designed to enhance the natural lip color. They’re described as waterproof and I found them very opaque and long-wearing. Colors I bought and some lip pairings I’ve tried:

When I used these pencils alone to line and fill the lips the result was too opaque, dark and rich for my skin tone. But this is the case with most lip pencils. The best way to wear these is as a lip pencil to outline and define the outer edges of the lip and pair with a lipstick or gloss. I am still experimenting with the combinations but overall I think the colors are really beautiful and easy to wear.

Bitten Lip Tint

Victoria Beckham Beauty Bitten Lip Stain

I have mixed feelings about the Bitten Lip Tint. It has a berry tint that looks beautiful on the lips but being a stain that is semi sheer – one coat was a bit streaky. Two coats evens out better. It’s non drying and has a very slight sheen to it. Once on the lips it stains the lips purple. As it faded it left an unflattering purply brown look on my lips but it did last a very very long time. It’s a gel tint with a sponge tip applicator – however there is no room inside for any air flow in or out of the tube so when I put the sponge back into the tube to close it, the air from the inside popped the top insert out. It was easy to push back in so its not a deal breaker.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Bitten Lip Stain

Satin Kajal Liner

Victoria Beckham Satin Kajal Liner

The Satin Kajal Liners come in 3 colors and I tried Bronze which is more of a golden brass shimmer rather than a bronze to me and Black which is a true black. They’re ultra soft and pigmented. There’s a sponge tip on one end to smoke out the color. When applied along the top lashes it blended beautifully and it stayed put all day. However I tried it on the bottom of the eyes and it smudged on me. I think they’re nice to try but if you absolutely need something long wearing I think the Sisley Phyto Khol Eyeliners are far superior.

Victoria Beckham Satin Kajal Liner + Lid Luster Mink swatches

Lid Luster

Victoria Beckham Lid Luster Mink

The concept of the Lid Lusters appealed to me but only one of the colors looked like something I could see myself wearing. They’re pressed pigments with lots of sparkle and pearl and they blend beautifully! Mink is a sparkling ultra shimmery deep silver taupe with brown tones. It applied a lot cooler-toned than I anticipated but is still really lovely. I think the formula is better than Hourglass Scattered Light Eyeshadows and those are among my favorites. I do wish they had more colors to pick from. Hopefully they will expand the line. They glide on so easily and I had no fall out issues with the sparkles.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Review

Overall thoughts are that I think she has a beautiful beauty line to start. I would have loved to see some coordinating lip sheers or lipsticks to go with the lip pencils with the initial launch. I think the Lid Luster formula is really phenomenal and I hope she expands the color range!

You can find her current collection can be found on her website Victoria Beckham Beauty and also at Violet Grey. Have you tried anything yet? What did you think?
