The Phyto-Khol Star Eyeliners are long-wear eyeliners and now come in matte shades. I really loved the sparkling shimmers but love that they have a non-shimmer version now. These are in a retractable twist-up style. Formula is creamy and smooth. There’s no tugging in the application and they are long-wearing. Pigment is ultra-rich and intense. I’ve played around with the black shade and brown colors and they’re long-wearing without smudging.
Colors include
1 Matte Onyx – intense black
2 Matte Tonka – deep brown
3 Matte Jungle – deep jungle green
4 Matte Graphite – grey
5 Matte Peacock – matte blue
6 Matte Chestnut – matte brown
Ombre Eclat Liquide Eyeshadows
The newest makeup launch includes six new shimmery metallic eyeshadows called the Ombre Eclat Liquide. They’re quite expensive but the colors are stunning, formula is super long-wearing once it dries and sets and I love the finish. Every single shade is a stunner!
Formula is a nice pigmented liquid. They blend easily before they dry/set but once they set they don’t budge. Layering wise you will need to work quickly to blend if you use more than one shade. They come with a sponge tip applicator and if I’m applying one single color all over the lid it’s easy to brush onto the eye lids and blend with a finger. If I want more intense color then I find it easier to take a cream eyeshadow brush (I like MAC 242) and swipe it on the sponge applicator to pick up product, then brush it onto the lids.
Colors include
1 Champagne – shimmery champagne pale gold
2 Copper – shimmery soft fawn
3 Pink Gold – pretty pink with subtle gold shimmer
4 Coral – warm copper pink shimmer
5 Bronze – shimmering brown with gold shimmer
6 Wild – sparkling olive green with gold flecks
My favorite so far is Pink Gold Shade 3. I love mixing it with Shade 4 Coral or any of the brown tones. I think they’re the perfect effortless wash of color for summer, especially for a nice vacation look!
NARS launched a few new items recently including their Summer Unrated Collection with an eyeshadow palette, three cheek duos and a lip balm called the Orgasm Lip Mask. I have swatches for you today!
Summer Unrated Blush & Bronzer Duos
There are three Blush and Bronzer Cheek Duos, each with a blush and bronzer in a large mirrored compact. I have the Orgasm + Laguna and Orgasm X + Casino variations. Colors are repromotes and quality with these palettes is very good (just like the singles). They’re nice for a summer glow. Texture is smooth, pigment is medium but buildable, lasting power is great.
Orgasm is a peachy pink with gold shimmer and Laguna is a medium tan. Below wearing:
Orgasm X is a deeper coral pink with gold shimmer and Casino is a deeper bronze. Wearing the same base as above but with different eyeshadows in the lighter/golden/bronze tones instead and with the Orgasm Lip Mask on lips (goes on clear).
Summer Unrated Eyeshadow Palette
The Summer Unrated Eyeshadow Palette is a stunning one! It has a beautiful mix of mattes and shimmers with a couple sparkle shades. Every single color performed well on me. They’re smooth, pigmented, apply beautifully and are buildable. I love that there are warm shades but they don’t look too warm or red on the skin. There are enough neutrals to balance it all out and with 16 shades the combinations are endless!
Orgasm Lip Mask
Last we have a look at the Orgasm Lip Mask. I hauled this from Sephora and like it, but don’t think it’s a must-have. It’s better than the Laneige Sleeping Lip Mask (which didn’t work for me) but you can find other balms that give you the same hydration. It’s thick but not too goopy. It does hydrate but I get better results from the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask or Summer Fridays Lip Butter.
The NARS Orgasm Lip Mask has a pale pink tint to it, but it pretty much goes on clear.
Overall everything performed really well. The cheek duos are nice to have if you don’t own any of the colors already. I love the eyeshadow palette. The lip mask is ok for me, but didn’t wow me.
You can find the NARS Summer Unrated Collection out now. Available at NARS, Nordstrom, Sephora and all other NARS retailers.

Another month has flown by and I can’t believe it! This has been one of the best months Andrew and I have had in a while, especially with the addition of Ollie to our family! Rounding up April’s Top 10 Favorites. Would love to hear what you loved this month too!
Naghedi St Barths Tote
I discovered Naghedi this year and love the woven neoprene material. I ordered a few of the St Barths Medium Totes in a few colors. I have from Dove, Capri and Cocoa (color featured). They come with a matching flat zip pouch and I absolutely love them! It’s the perfect size for me. Roomy and large but not too large. I can wear it over the shoulder or on the arm. Cocoa seems to be only available at Bloomingdale’s right now.
\
I just ordered a few of their makeup pouches too. They just launched a Waste Not Collection which includes pieces that use materials and scraps from previous launches. They have some really fun colorful variations! You can also find their products on their website Naghedi NYC.
I love mini bags and have been loving the Bottega Cassette Belt Bag. I bought this in Miami and wear it cross body style. It fits my phone too! I filmed a Reel of what fits inside. It has a soft leather which feels super luxurious. Already plotting my next Bottega purchase!
Obsessed with all things Lululemon! Both Andrew and I wear things from them almost daily. I love the Everywhere Belt Bags and have collected them in multiple colors. They recently launched a Mini Belt Bag style which I think is super cute. I’m wearing it below!
My favorite lip product this month was the Hermes Lip Oils. Still highly recommend them! Review + swatches here.
Tom Ford Eclat Nu
My favorite blush this month was the Tom Ford Eclat Nu Blush Duo. I wish they would launch more colors in this formula because it works so well with my skin type. Looks natural, has a subtle glow, blends perfectly right into the skin. Review + swatches here.
Rare Beauty Tinted Moisturizer
I tested a lot of new foundations this month and I really love the Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer in 32N. It looks natural, has a slightly dewy finish (but not too dewy), has enough pigment to even out the skin, and it lasts a decent amount of time for a tinted moisturizer.
Fragrance Favorites
I have so many spring fragrance loves and will have a roundup soon. If I had to narrow down my absolute top picks this month though, it would be the Sol de Janerio Beija Flor Elasti-Cream for it’s sweet rich mix of jasmine and pink dragonfruit.
For perfumes I was pleasantly surprised by Mizensir Vert Empire*. It’s one of their new launches and it’s such a beautiful fresh green earthy scent. The notes include orange citrus, cardamom, sandalwood and sage. You can use my promo codeSABRINA15 to save 15% off purchases at Mizensir (US).
Top notes: Essence of mandarin, essence of cardamom, paradisone
Heart notes: Essence of Petitgrain, essence of angelica roots, ambrox
Base notes: Essence of benzoin, essence of sage, essence of Australian sandalwood
That wraps up my top ten! What did you love this month?

Mother’s Day is almost here and if you’re looking for gift ideas I’ve put together a roundup! There are a few things I wanted to highlight. This Lululemon Belt Bag is perfect for on-the-go. I have a number of different colors and love it. Perfect for walks, throwing in my bigger totes, great for the park (took mine to Disney World Animal Kingdom a few weeks ago!). They just released a Mini Belt Bag version which is a smaller version and I bought one to try.
Sol de Janeiro makes really fun body creams and sprays. Their newest one Beiga Flor Elasti-Cream is amazing and is a good dupe for the Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540. They just added this in the Brazilian Crush Cheirosa Mist and I’ve ordered a couple to put together in gift packs I’m mailing out to some of the moms in my life.
So many great perfumes out right now. I love the newest launches from Jo Malone including their Sea Daffodil, Aqua Lemon and the Orange Blossom Hair Mist. Other beautiful florals for spring include the Chloe Eau de Parfum and the newest Creed Wind Flowers.
I love these woven neoprene totes from Naghedi. You may have seen them in stories and on Instagram here. I saved the stories to my TOTE HIGHLIGHT in case you missed it. I have the Medium St. Barths Tote in three colors. Capri and Dove I ordered from Shopbop, Cocoa is from Bloomingdale’s. You can also find the brand on their website Naghedi NYC. They have a number of different styles and colors!
We are so excited to introduce the newest addition to our family Ollie! He’s a Cavapoo and we’ve had him for a full month now. Ollie has brought so much happiness to our home and we are soaking up every minute of this puppy phase. We created an Instagram page for him @olliemclovin in case you want to follow along on his puppy adventures!
Our pups Jake and Lucy have been missed. Jake lived 14 years and passed away the summer of 2019. Lucy lived a few more years until age 17 and passed away this last Christmas. It was so heartbreaking to lose them. Both Jack Russells gave us so much love and happiness. After Lucy passed away I never thought I’d get another dog – saying goodbye was so terribly sad, I didn’t think my heart could go through it again.
This year however just hasn’t been the same without them. Even our ragdoll cat Calvin noticed Lucy wasn’t around and he just hasn’t been himself. In early March Andrew told me had been researching dog breeds on his own for several weeks and said, “I think we should get a Cavapoo. They have a good temperament, they’re friendly, super cute and don’t shed.” As soon as he showed me pictures I immediately said yes!
We picked up Ollie when he was 9 weeks old (5 pounds). He’s a mix of a Toy Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Today he’s 13 weeks and weighed in at 7 pounds. He’s growing so fast and has so much energy. It’s estimated he will be 14-20 pounds full grown.
A number of you asked for a roundup of what we bought for him and what he likes. Since he’s still young and hasn’t had all his vaccines he’s stayed at home with us or gone on short walks. He’s very friendly and loves it when any new people come over to our home.
He has another sleeping corner in our bedroom where it’s quiet so he can sleep undisturbed during his daytime naps.
To section off areas in the home Andrew ordered some Freestanding Wooden Pet Gates from Amazon. They’re foldable and sturdy and they’re exactly what we were looking for. You can also buy Support Feet which we have and really like.
So far our setup works well for Ollie. He’s a jumper and likes to bounce around a lot but he’s nowhere near the jumping capacity of our Jack Russells. Jake was able to jump all the way to my shoulder height even as a little puppy.
Favorite Toys & Organization
We’ve tried so many toys with Ollie. His favorites are his Barefoot Dreams Fox and anything that has a crinkle noise. He loves this Stuffless Crinkle Squirrel, Baby Yoda Toy (the ears crinkle), Stuffed Chewbacca and also the Top Paw Easter Crinkle Toys. By now he knows how to play catch and fetch and loves anything he can chew and carry. Even though he’s in the teething phase and likes to bite and chew he doesn’t tear into or rip toys like our Jack Russells did. Nothing lasted more than 5 minutes with Jake and Lucy!
Andrew found quite a few entertaining toys that Ollie ended up liking. The Snuffle Dog Mat Snail has pockets to hide treats and keeps him entertained for a while. This Suction Cup Chew Toy attaches to our sliding glass doors. We put peanut butter on the outside and it keeps Ollie occupied until it’s all gone.
The Hyper Pet Dog Tail is another winner. It wiggles, vibrates and barks. It’s interactive so it keeps Ollie pretty entertained. He also like his Hide-a-Squirrel! He has a lot of toys but we limit what we expose him to at any given time so he can stay more focused.
To keep his toy situation under control I bought a couple Woven Felt Baskets (available in Large and Small sizes) and Rectangular Wire Baskets (available in multiple sizes and in black or white) from Target. I liked them so much I bought a few more for around the home.
Treats
We waited to get the ok from the vet before giving Ollie treats and we’re easing him in with a few for training and teething. He seems to be picky with the treats but likes Milk-Bone Trail Mix and a Nylabone Healthy Edibles. The Jack and Pup Bully Sticks help with his teething and don’t make a mess.
Cleaning & Grooming
Pee pads were on everyone’s puppy essential list and we bought a pack but we didn’t really need to use them for Ollie. He’s been pretty good with the potty training and learned quickly.
To clean up accidents the Bissell Pawsitively Clean with Febreze is great. It’s a stain remover and smells pretty good for an Enzyme Cleaner. They make one for cats too but out cat Calvin doesn’t usually mark anything so we haven’t tried it.
For grooming we’re still learning. He thinks brushing is play time so I try to give him gentle brushes while he’s sleeping. We use a brush we had for our Jack Russells but Ollie’s Cavapoo fur is different so we will need to order different combs.
He will need professional trims and grooming in the future. The fur around his eyes has grown the fastest and has covered his eyes. Since he’s so wiggly and energized I’ve only attempted a tiny trim (tiny as in 2 snips) when he’s fast asleep.
Training will start soon. He’s still pretty young and knows basic commands like sit, stay (sometimes) and come here. He understands words like “potty” and “treat.” They say Cavapoos are quick learners so we are keeping our fingers crossed!
9 weeks vs 12 weeks
I’ve linked all the things we’ve bought for him. A number of you asked about his harness and leash but we got it from our breeder who buys them from a third party vendor. Since Ollie is growing we need to get him a bigger size already. Once I find one that works I’ll share that with you too!
Everything from Amazon is on my Amazon Page under Ollie’s Favorites.
Other items linked below:
A very special thank you to each and everyone of you who have sent heartfelt messages to me about Ollie. We love him so much and I love seeing pictures of all your doodles! I had no idea there were so many of you with poodle mix dogs and I LOVE IT! Keep sending me the photos and accounts, I love seeing them and hearing about your dog stories.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Beautybio Bright Eyes and Cryo Roller for depuffing and brightening the eyes so I was really excited to partner with them to try some new items from their line. Beautybio is the most well known for their GloPro tools but there are quite a few other products they carry I think are worth checking out. They’ve also given me a promo code to share with you, details below.
Zenbubble Gel Cream
The Zenbubble Gel Cream is a new favorite for a nice lightweight oil-free calming gel-cream in one. I love that it absorbs quickly and easily into the skin. It’s oil-free and fragrance-free, perfect for sensitive skin and works well to reduce redness while rebalancing the skin. It contains phyto marine actives, microalgae and chamomile. These help calm the skin, add hydration and reduce redness and improve skin texture over time. I love that it has a pump style dispenser to keep the product clean and sanitary inside the tub.
Eyelighter Concentrate
I love trying anything to help brighten the eye area and The Eyelighter Concentrate is a great multi-tasking product that brightens and depuffs. It has retinol, Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and squalene to smooth the eye, brighten, depuff and hydrate. It has a contoured cooling applicator which feels so good when applying the product. You can also use this as a makeup primer for the eye area.
Heathly Scalp Dry Shampoo
The Healthy Scalp Dry Shampoo is a something I think everyone should try. Dry Shampoos can be hit or miss for me but this one is pure love. Love how it absorbs oil and leaves the hair feeling soft and shiny (no crunchy feel with this one). It smells clean and fresh! It’s also starch-free and alcohol-free. It’s also safe for color-treated hair.
Glass and Gloss Megawatt Glow Pro-Facial
The last thing I want to highlight is their Glass and Gloss Megawatt Glow Pro-Facial. It’s a 2-step facial product with an ultra fine scrub and a face gloss serum. The scrub is one of the most gentle face scrubs I’ve tried. The product contains what they call spherical skin-friendly nanoderma crystals which gently buff the skin to resurface texture in gentle way. You apply on damp skin and rinse. The second step is to follow with the gloss serum to add hydration and glow. A little goes a long way and even though it has a glossy finish, it’s more like a serum so it blends into the skin nicely while giving you a radiant dewy glow.
You can find all of these online at Beautybio! They’ve also given me a 20% off promo code SABRINA20 for my readers to use online, valid through end of May!

Many thanks to Beauty Bio for partnering to sponsor this post.
There are some new Pillow Talk launches from Charlotte Tilbury and I have a full haul + swatches for you! I have some hits and a couple partial misses in today’s roundup. You can find all the items out now, I hauled my picks from Charlotte Tilbury and Nordstrom.
If you’re shopping multiple items I highly recommend you check Charlotte Tilbury’s website first to see if the colors you’re looking for are still in stock. She has bundles available and most of them are customizable and have a price break.
Pillow Talk Multi-Glow Beautifying All Over Glow Highlighter
There are two new highlighters called the Pillow Talk Multi-Glow Beautifying All Over Glow Highlighter ($45 each). There are two variations in Romance Light and Dream Light. Both have four shades each for a glass-like glow. Each palette has a mix of finely milled shimmers and a couple sparkle shades. The sparkle is super fine so it’s not chunky on the skin. Finish is smooth even though they’re very metallic.
Romance Light is the lighter variation which I prefer for my skin tone. It surprised me how pretty the glow is! I don’t know that I would call it a must-have since you can get a similar effect with other highlighters on the market.
Dream Light is the deeper variation. It’s a semi-miss for me, mainly because the color is a bit too deep for my skin tone as a highlighter. On my skin it pulls very copper, very warm and a bit too dramatic. It would probably work better on someone with very tan to deep skin tone. I do love it on the eyes though! I think the colors are stunning as an eyeshadow palette.
The product describes this as an “all over glow” highlighter. I found them too glowy to be used all over the face.
Quality wise these get a solid A+ for texture, packaging, lasting power and finish.
Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow
The Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow ($40) was relaunched in this collection. I bought both the last round but never used them so I gifted them away. I decided to give Colour of Dreams a try. The color is beautiful but I’m not a fan of the packaging style and it is too dewy for my cheeks. If you’re a fan of the dewy cheek look (like the Chanel Baume Essentiel) then I think you will love this.
It’s too dewy for my cheeks, a bit too sheer for the lips for my taste. It’s not a bad product. Just not what I look for in a lip or cheek product. Colour of Dreams is a neutral rosebud shade.
Swatched next to the Pillow Talk lip lineup for reference below.
Luxury Eye Palette + Eyes to Mesmerise
Charlotte Tilbury added a new Luxury Eye Palette ($53) in Pillow Talk Dreams and I’m obsessed. It has two metallic shimmers with a fine texture and two soft pigmented mattes in a light rose and plum brown. I love the colors and color payoff. I think it’s really stunning!
I also swatched the Eyes to Mesmerise ($34) in Pillow Talk which isn’t new, but I hadn’t swatched it yet. If you like mauves you will love this one. I think it’s a really pretty shade, but I prefer Rose Gold for the pink tones.
Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wands
Last I have a quick look at the Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wands ($40 each) in Pillow Talk Light/Medium and Medium/Deep. These have been restocked so if you had your eye on these they’re back! I’m reposting swatches I had from a previous review below.
Overall the quality and color payoff of everything in her new launch is great. The colors didn’t all work out for me, but there are some solid new loves for me. If I had to pick one stand out it would be her new Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Palette. The highlighters are nice but not must-haves.
