I purchased all three summer pieces from the Chantecaille Sunbeam Collection and love every single item. They’re quite pricey but the colors are beautiful and easy to wear. I love the lip tints for an effortless wash of color and the highlighter is a stunner. The neon green/yellow packaging is fun for summer too. I ordered mine from Chantecaille.
Lip Tint Hydrating Balms
There are two Lip Tint Hydrating Balms ($35 each for 1 g/0.03 oz) which are super petite and small. They’re incredibly expensive given the amount of product you get. If you’re willing to splurge I think the colors and formula are excellent.
Marigold is a perfect neutral everyday pink rose. Sunflower is a soft mocha. Colors are medium in coverage. Texture is smooth. Formula is hydrating. No detectable scent. Lasting power is medium since they’re a balm with a glossy formula.
They have about the same coverage and shine as the ones packaged in the blue tubes from the Vibrant Oceans collection a couple years ago.
Swatches in indirect light:
Sunbeam Cheek and Eye Shade
The Sunbeam Cheek and Eye Shade ($82) is a stunning highlighter in a multi dimensional color. It has a beautiful champagne, bronze, pink glow – so hard to describe and photos don’t do it justice. It’s definitely a unique one in my book. It has that smooth gel/powder formula and can be used on eyes and cheeks.
Swatches in sunlight:
Sharing a look at a few other favorites I’m wearing including the Future Skin Cushion Foundation in Nude, Perfect Blur Finishing Powder in Light/Medium, Real Bronze Bronzer in Sirena, Luminescent Eye Shades in Cheetah and Giraffe (also swatched Lion). I think the items are 100% worth the splurge as I purchased all of these and have repurchased the cushion and powder. I do think they’re overpriced but I really love the quality, texture, colors and wear them often.
If you’ve been wondering whether the new summer collection items are worth the splurge, I think they are. You can find the summer items available at Chantecaille and Neiman Marcus. Nordstrom still has the lip balms. Colors are limited-edition so if you have your eye on them I’d recommend purchasing soon.

I’m excited to partner with them to share a look at some things I think will be perfect for summer! I have a mix of everything from skincare, body care, lips, hair care and more. Here’s what I hauled.
Skincare / Body Care
For skincare I ordered the M-61 PowerGlow Peel 10 Treatments and am completely obsessed. They’re a quick and easy way to exfoliate the skin in a peel pad with glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin K, bilberry and chamomile. Each treatment is individually packaged which makes them perfect for travel. I found them very gentle on the skin and they help with texture and clarity. I’m definitely ordering more!
Corpus No Green Natural Deodorant is a new to me brand, I decided to try their deodorant and love it. It has a fresh natural kind of scent with bergamot, pink lemon, orange blossom and cardamom.
I love a good sunscreen oil for summer and the Supergoop! Glow Oil SPF 50 is one of my favorites. It absorbs nicely into the skin, has a high SPF, leaves the skin glowing and hydrates too.
Effortless Lip Look
For the lips there are so many great tinted lip products for an effortless glow, but my favorite for years has been the NARS Afterglow Lip Balm. I have this in all the colors but my favorite is Orgasm for a really natural flushed pink glow. It’s hydrating, easy to apply, lasts long for a tinted balm and great to apply for on-the-go.
If you want a nice shine I highly recommend the NARS Afterglow Lip Shine for one of the smoothest gloss formulas you’ll find these days. Shade shown is A-Lister which is a pale gold shimmer.
Glowing Complexion
Two summer bases I love for a glowing complexion include a mix of the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Light Revealer Natural Skin Illuminator + the Kosas Revealer Concealer. When I layer both I can create the exact coverage I want: a sheer glowy base with extra coverage in just the areas I need with the concealer. Both are creamy, dewy and look natural. Just set with your favorite powder to lock it into place.
For a glowing warm bronze look the Sisley Paris Phyto-Touche Illusion Bronzer is a favorite I just restocked. It has a gel-powder formula that glides onto the skin. It has a subtle shimmer to it which gives the complexion a glow without looking too shimmery.
For summer hair I really love the Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo. It’s actually great for year round but I especially love it during the spring to summer months for a hair refresh in between washes. I also love the Sisley Hair Rituel Protective Hair Fluid to help protect hair from UVA and UVB rays. It’s a lightweight hair spray I spritz on damp hair before heat styling or air drying. It also helps protect from the sea or pool water.
I’ve been looking for a good travel sized hair dryer and ordered the T3 Afar Travel Dryer + Case and it’s just what I’ve been looking for. It has 3 heat settings, 2 speed settings, concentrator, cool shot option and a travel case. The top folds down for storage and it’s powerful even though it’s compact. Can’t wait to bring this on my next trip!
For the Home
Last I have a look at three things I bought for the home. I’ve been super curious about the LARQ Bottle PureVis which is a self-cleaning and purifying bottle. I ordered it in Granite White. It has UV-C LED Light Technology to eliminate viruses and bacteria. It’s also double-wall insulated to keep water hot or cold. It’s easy to use and rechargeable.
I picked up the Resore Face Wash Set for a nice gentle face cloth. They’re fluffy, plush and antibacterial. I love the case it comes in too! Comes with a set of two.
I’ve had the Vitruvi Stone Diffuser on my wishlist for some time and am finally glad to own one. I ordered it in White and added some of my own essential oils to it (they also carry some, but you can use any one). Simply fill to the water line and add about 20 drops of your oil. There are different time settings where you can have them on. If you’re looking for continuous scent throughout the home I think this is great.
That wraps up my Bluemercury Summer Haul! If you’re looking for some luxury items to refresh your routine or home I hope you found this helpful for ideas! There are tons of great brands at Bluemercury and now is a great time to stock up and save!
Chanel has launched the new Summer Nails Collection with six new shades of Le Vernis ($30), a new La Base Camelia ($30) and L’Huile Camelia Hydrating and Fortifying Oil ($32). Every single color is absolutely beautiful for summer. The Chanel team sent over the shades for review and to me they’re so perfect, I ordered backups (they’re THAT good!). The colors are available online at Chanel.com.
New Summer Nail Colors
There are 6 new Le Vernis Nail Colors inspired by the Sky, Sun and Sea. Chanel did an incredible job with everything from the shade undertone, opacity and smooth finish. Two coats is needed for all the shades. Only one of them applied a little streaky with the first coat but it smoothed out 100% without any issues with the second coat.
Rose Coquillage 925 is a perfect coral peach pink
Blanc Ecume 927 is a pure stark white, but still manages to have a bit of warmth so it doesn’t look like white out on the nails (your mileage may vary)
Pastel Sand 929 is a soft peach with that secret shimmer some Chanel nail polishes used to have, it has subtle gold sheen, but on the nails it’s more of a cream
Moon Shell 931 is the perfect lilac shade for summer, it has the perfect undertone to be flattering and not too pastel/white
Cap Corail 933 is a gorgeous bright orange coral
Sea Sea Green 935 is a really fun pale green
I really wanted to do a nail wheel swatch comparison to other Chanel & Hermes shades because I know so many of you will ask. I cannot find any extra wheels in my beauty closet but will try to get some and update this post in the next week. For now here are swatches of all six shades. Skintone I’m a Chanel B40/B50. I have been in the sun with a couple boat, beach + kayaking days so I’m starting to get my tan back.
All six side by side:
New Nail Care
I’ve been a huge fan of the Chanel Le Gel Coat and Le Top Coat. Their previous base coat was nice but not great (in my opinion). The new La Base Camelia is a really beautiful one that hydrates, protects and smooths. I think it’s a really nice formula but I still like the OPI Natural Base Coat for a more affordable option. At this time it seems like they’ve discontinued the original base coat as the new La Base Camelia is the only one listed on Chanel.com now.
The new L’Huile Camelia Hydrating and Fortifying Oil is a camelia oil that comes in a squeeze tip applicator. The tip looks like it could be a sponge but it’s not. It has holes to dispense product. A little goes a long way so you don’t need a lot to cover and hydrate. I’ve only used it a couple times so far so I haven’t tested it long enough to speak to the long-term effects. I like it though. It makes the nails look and feel hydrated. Mine get super dry with the sand, sun, salt etc. I think it will be one I’ll use up entirely.
That wraps up my Chanel Summer Nail roundup! I really think every single shade is perfect. Sunglasses in the post are the Butterfly Sunglasses I hauled a few months ago. I’ll link my reel below if you want to see them in action on the face. You can order Chanel sunglasses online at Chanel.com but I’ve also spotted them in store at places like Neimans, Nordstrom and Saks.
The Terry Beach Bag is another splurge I did while in Miami a few months ago. I bought it at the Chanel boutique and it comes with a pouch and beach towel. They also had it in Black and Navy. I think by now there are other variations in stores too. I’ll link my unboxing/reel below on this one. So many of you asked for a link, unfortunately Chanel does not sell their handbags online. If you have a Chanel sales associate you have worked with they may be able to locate it for you.
What do you think about the Chanel Le Vernis nail colors? I’m not sure if they’ll be available at other retailers or of they’re a Chanel.com exclusive. At this time each shade has the “exclusive” label on the website. If you have your eye on any colors I’d recommend ordering soon. The nail colors usually sell out quickly!
It feels like summer has arrived here and I’m all about a glowing sunkissed complexion, glossy lips and shimmering eyes for this time of year. I’m excited to share a Summer Beauty Checklist of some recent favorites to refresh your spring to summer look. You can find all of my picks available at Nordstrom. Here’s what I’ve been loving lately!
Base Favorites
Some of my favorite makeup bases are lightweight and glowy options. The Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Stick is one of my favorites for a stick foundation. Nice medium coverage and easy to apply and blend! I love the stick format for travel too! I wear Shade VI.
I’m a huge fan of the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation but sometimes want something a little more sheer/natural. I started using the Neo Nude True to Skin Natural Glow Foundation again and I’m obsessed. I think it’s going to be my staple go-to base. Has natural coverage like a lightweight tinted moisturizer but not too emollient or dewy. I wear it in 6.5 (same shade as the Luminous Silk line).
Another favorite is the By Terry Cellualrose Brighting CC Serum. It’s available in several colors. I love Sunny Flash and mix it in with my base for a subtle bronzed glow.
Bronzer
Lots of bronzers to love this season! The Sisley Phyto-Touche Sun Glow Bronzing Gel is a splurge but I love the gel formula and subtle glow. It’s warm but not too warm on my skin.
The Diorskin Forever Natural Bronzer is one of the best matte bronzers I’ve tried. I love the summer limited-edition embossing! I wear Shade 05 Warm Bronze.
Wearing Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Sunkissed Bronzer in Medium
Eye Makeup
For the eyes I love shimmer! Bobbi Brown launched new shades of her Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks and I love every single one. There’s a nice range of colors to suit everyone’s taste. I love the combo of Golden Amber + Espresso.
I’ll have an updated summer fragrance roundup soon, but wanted to share three I’m really loving right now. The Vacation Eau de Toilette is summer in a bottle. It smells fresh and summery, I highly recommend checking it out! Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is my go-to summer fragrance and I love it in all formats, especially the Shimmering Body Oil! Year over year the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt remains another favorite on my list. It’s timeless and great for year round, but there’s something about the sunshine and warm weather that make this one special for me.
Sunscreen
Last but definitely not least: sunscreen! The Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion with SPF 50 is my absolute favorite for the body. It’s the longest lasting and least goopy feeling one I’ve tried. You still need to reapply regularly but if I’m in the water this lasts the longest on me. Andrew’s favorite of all time is the Jack Black Sun Guard with SPF 45. It’s also very long lasting, probably better than the Shiseido but is on the thicker side.
For the face I love anything Supergoop!. I still love their Unseen Sunscreen. One of their newer one is the Every Single Face Watery Lotion with SPF 50 and it’s a nice moisturizer lotion formula. TheCC Screen is also very very good if you want a tint + SPF in one.
That wraps up my summer beauty roundup! I hope you found this helpful if you’re looking to refresh your summer beauty makeup bag!

Many thanks to Nordstrom for partnering to sponsor this post. As always all opinions are my own.
Bobbi Brown has some new launches for summer and I have a look at them today! I hauled the Real Nudes collection along with a few of the new Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks. The Bobbi Brown PR team also sent over all the new cream shadow sticks which I’m thrilled about. The two that I bought were so good I was going to buy more colors anyways.
Glow All Nude: Real Nudes
above top to bottom: Bellini, Bare Sparkle, Kir Sugar
The Crushed Oil-Infused Glosses have been a long time favorite in the original colors and I was excited to see these in a NEW Shimmer Formula. These shimmers aren’t quite as sticky/tacky feeling as her original lip gloss but they’re not as smooth as the other Crushed Oil-Infused gloss shades. I’d say they’re somewhere in between. Colors are smooth without any texture even though they’re sparkly and I absolutely love them. They adhere well to the lips and have really good lasting power on me. They’re hydrating but not super emollient like a balm/oil. They’re definitely more like a gloss than a lip oil to me.
Bare Sparkle is a clear pink base with gold and pink flecks to sparkle (sheer/clear on me)
Bellini is a pink pearl with gold and pink pearl flecks
Kir Sugar is a really pretty plum
It’s been a while since I’ve seen new shades of her Highlighting Powders and this round has really pretty colors! I could not resist trying them and my favorite is Peach Glow. Shimmer is smooth and has that really pretty metallic sheen that’s not too frosty.
Quartz Glow is a pale light gold champagne
Peach Glow is the perfect mix of tan peach and white peach
Chestnut Glow is pretty mix of champagne and soft bronze
I skipped Copper Glow as it looked really warm and I thought it would be too warm for my skin tone. Three looks below wearing different combinations of the lip glosses + highlighters. Base is the Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Tint in 6.5. Eye colors are a mix of Sunrise Pink, Golden Amber and Espresso. I’m using her Precise Blending Blush to apply the highlighter which is a nice soft dense brush.
Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks
There are new shades of the Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks (new shades, $30 each) and I’m beyond thrilled! I love a good shimmer for the lid and these are indeed long-wearing once they set. They layer nicely together and I’ll also mix with other powder shadows for a complete look. I think all the new ones are stunning. There are 10 total. My favorite is Golden Amber which is similar to Laura Mercier Copper.
Moonstone is a pale light champagne gold
Mica is a champagne beige
Peach Mimosa is a pale shimmery light peach
Golden Amber is a perfect copper shimmer
Incandescent duo chrome pink gold
Sunrise Pink is a pale pink with gold shimmer
Smokey Topaz is a perfect taupe shimmer
Mulberry is a stunning wine shimmer
Forest is a deep khaki green shimmer
Espresso is a deep brown with a tiny hint of shimmer
Also added Golden Pink and Golden Bronze to the swatch mix for reference.

I have a Victoria Beckham Beauty haul to share today! She launched a lip gloss formula called Posh Gloss in nudes a while ago and so many of you have asked for a review and swatches. The colors seemed to greige/brown for my taste but when I saw she launched her Posh Gloss Spritz in pink shades I decided to give them a try.
I’m beyond impressed with the Victoria Beckham Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Sticks ($42 each). It took me forever to try since I’m typically not a cream blush fan. Whenever a new cream blush formula is launched, I’m usually not interested. Most creams do not do well on my skin and I find they become super dewy oil slick within minutes.
These have a really nice dry down with a soft velvety texture that’s creamy but not too creamy. Pigment is medium but can be sheered out. They do remain a tiny bit creamy on the skin, when the hot humid weather arrives I don’t think they’ll be super long wearing but for now they have pretty good lasting power on me.
Every single color is perfect to me. The lightest one is a bit pale on my skin but I like it mixed with the other shades. I can’t pick a favorite. They’re all phenomenal.
Knickers is a soft peach
Playground is a brown pink nude
Major is a soft pink mauve
Rollerskate is a hot pink (LOVE this one)
Miniskirt is a berry rose brown
If I could say one bad thing about them it would be the price. They’re a bit steep given the size but I really like the product and packaging (twist up style).
Posh Gloss
The Posh Gloss ($28) is a beautiful gloss formula! It’s smooth and glossy without any tacky/sticky feel. You can layer for a bit more coverage but in general they have medium pigment. I was surprised how wearable the colors are. Even the nudes. They have no detectable scent. My favorites are Bungalow and Fizz. Lasting power is pretty good for a gloss. They don’t slide off or fade quickly, but they will transfer and won’t last through a meal (at least for me).
Last we have a look at three of her Lid Lustres ($36 each). I really love these. They’re sparkling pressed powder shadows that you can apply with a finger or brush. I love the multi-dimensional shimmers and they adhere well to the eyes with minimal fallout. Pigment is easy to control and layer. I hauled Honey and Tea Rose quite some time ago but couldn’t remember if I had swatched them. I think those are the two best shades she has.
She recently added Starlight (khaki gold) and Chiffon (champagne quartz). I immediately ordered Chiffon but hadn’t used it until this week. It’s pure love. I’m hoping she continues to expand the colors for this formula because it’s SO good. Shimmer is noticeable but more finely milled and less glitzy compared to the Hourglass Scattered Light Eyeshadows (which I still really love).
Overall a huge haul success in my book. I love everything I tried this round (which hasn’t always been the case in the past). More Victoria Beckham Beauty reviews by clicking on the VBB Category.
