Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow Palette Review

Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette Review and Swatches

Natasha Denona launched a new glow palette called Bloom Blush and Glow ($55 for 13.7 g/0.48 oz, available at Sephora and Beautylish). I ordered this a few weeks ago and think it’s one of the prettiest cheek palettes I’ve seen. It comes in a medium sized compact with four cheek colors. I love the smaller compact size and find the pans are still large enough that I can dip a regular blush brush in the compact easily. (On the nails is Chanel Le Vernis in Jaspe.)

There are two creams and two powders:

  • Glow Cream Base is a sheer peachy champagne shimmer, this is a nice glow product, not too sparkly or frosty
  • Cream Blush is a super pigmented cranberry flush, a little goes a long way but it’s easy to blend
  • Glow Extreme is a extreme glow shimmery peachy champagne highlighter, it has large shimmer particles and is very glowy
  • Duo Glow is a duo chrome peach gold shimmer powder highlighter

All four layer nicely together for the ultimate glow. If you’re conservative on the shimmer you may find Glow Extreme too glowy and sparkly for you. I think it makes for a really nice eyeshadow too. Application is smooth and easy to blend. Pigment is perfect. You can sheer out for a lighter wash or layer for more intense coverage. Lasting power is very good although we’ve had a cold week so I haven’t tested this in full humidity.

Close ups and swatches below.

Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette Review and Swatches

There’s a nice plastic lid inside to cover the two creams and protect them from the powder kick up of the other two shades. I really appreciate little details like this!

Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette review

Overall glowy and beautiful. Compared to other Natasha Denona coral/peachy shades her Duo Glow in Alba is lighter and more golden compared to this palette’s blush. Her Diamond and Blush Palette in Darya is more coral/cool toned while this palette has more warmer tones and more glow/shimmer. I do think The Bloom Blush and Glow is different enough to justify owning if you have the others, although if you’re super conservative on shimmers and glows this will probably be too glowy for you.

You can find the Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow Palette out now. Available at Sephora and Beautylish.

I bought mine and then also received a press sample so I’m going to give away my extra to one reader. To enter for a chance to win, use the widget below. My favorite highlighter is the RMS living luminizer or the RMS rose champagne luminizer – I feel like I’ve neglected all my other highlighters for months because I can’t get over the sheer, dewy, glossy glow these give me! And lasting power on my dry skin is really good too.

The only makeup I order fearlessly from outside of EU is Pat McGrath Labs, because – well, because its Pat McGrath and you just can’t go wrong! The SkinFetish highlighter in Nude is the one I use and love!

My current favourite highlighter is the peachy one that came out with the Dior lolliglow collection. My other favourite is an Hourglass 3 pan that was released during one of the holidays. I think it’s called the Metallic Strobe, but it’s anything but metallic. It just gives me that nice sheen.

Such a pretty palette! My favourite highlighter these days is the Becca shimmering skin pressed highlighter in champagne pop. Somehow I always feel like champagne tones complement my skin tones better. I am thinking of trying more cream based highlighters, especially the RMS one in champagne rose.

Been going back and forth with this palette!

  • Jenny Hazell March 8, 2019 at 1:35 am

I have been desperate for this palette to come out in the UK! I’ve only just got in to Natasha Denona and am IN LOVE! Your post has made me even more excited – you’ve really managed to show it off and I think it’s helps we are similar skin tones, so I can imagine what it looks like! I’ve been checking everywhere that sells it daily.

It is now live on Selfridges, HOWEVER, it is £51! On Sephora.fr it was listed as €41, so, I thought it would be around the same price here, otherwise I would have brought it from Sephora.fr a month ago, along with the Sunset palette. I’ve noticed most prices are already cheaper in Euro’s, before you factor in the currency exchange price and that included shipping.

P.S. LOVIN’ your Chanel Le Vernis nail polish – you always have such pretty nails in your pics. Wish I could paint mine as well.

Third thing I love are your photography skills in general. Always shows off the makeup brilliantly. 🙂 xx

  • Mary-Irene Marek March 9, 2019 at 7:04 am

This looks like the perfect palette for someone like me- clueless. I need everything I am supposed to use in one place. I am absolutely in love with all of the shades in this compact. They look luxurious and modern. In terms of highlighter- my go-to is the champagne pop from Becca. It’s the classic and always seems to work. I also have a highlighter/bronzer palette from Anastasia that you had recommended a couple of years ago, and I love that too when summer comes.

  • TerezaM March 11, 2019 at 2:50 pm

Favourite highliter? Well it depends… when I want just a little something no-fuss kinda thing – Mac colour base in Pearl, when I´m feeling fancy – Charlotte Tilbury – Hollywood Beauty light wand, and when I feel like I can get away with using higliter with some colour in it – Rituel de Fille – rare light luminizer in Solaris – this one is absolutely gorgeous – sadly I can be bit heavy-handed with it, so it ends up looking like blush topper….. I love creamy highliters….

  • Bex March 11, 2019 at 3:37 pm

My favorite highlighter at the moment is still the ABH Amrezy! Gorgeous and so perfect for every day and when I’m going for a more amplified look.
