Tom Ford Beauty has released several new Eye Color Quads to the US in Lavender Lust, Seductive Rose and Orchid Haze ($78 each for .35 oz/10g, made in Italy). This is a quick preview with swatches. I’ll be posting detailed reviews on each quad later this afternoon and tomorrow. So far my favorite is Orchid Haze mainly because it doesn’t have any glitter shades. Seductive Rose is a close second. I’m not thrilled with Lavender Lust because it pulls very pastel on my skin. Pastel lavenders/pinks are hard for me to pull off (I purchased it sight unseen).

They are gorgeous but looking at these I totally get why Orchid Haze is your favorite. It seems the be the easiest to work with.
My favorite has to be Orchid Haze as well! I like the mix of different finishes in there, and the shades seem more foolproof!

Yep, I'm really feeling Orchid Haze, it's definitely the most wearable. Not too sure about the very shimmery shades in Seductive Rose. I do love the shades in each quad tho, they look promising!
I have the Seductive Rose (well, had, as I swapped it away) and the amount of glitter and glitter fall-out was over the top, sadly. The photos of the compact early on did not indicate the amount of shimmer; in fact, the top right color is a clear base with just pinkish glitter mixed in it- not exactly what I was looking for and not exactly appropriate for the court room, lol. The matte shade was brilliant and I wish he would do more all matte (or using satin instead of shimmer)collections. This is one line I simply have to see in person before I can purchase (GA being another one).
Sabrina, do you use any primer when you swatch these? I'm always amazed by the quality of your photos! 🙂 I'm definitely getting the Orchid haze now!

Orchid Haze seems to be the favourite! The glittery shades are a bit too much for me so I can definitely understand the love for Orchid Haze 🙂
cant wait to read your review on orchid haze – it's so pretty and definitely my favorite too! a girl can never lust over too many neutral eye palettes… i would love to hear your thoughts on orchid haze vs the YSL classy palette 🙂

I'm actually leaning toward Lavender Lust. Orchid Haze, while nice, is a reminiscent of say.. Chanel Raffinement in that plum/peach play in color. Yes, I'd like to hear your review/view about the glitter fall out or lack there of.
Are there any shade overlaps with TF Enchanted? I'm curious to know if you think these quads compare with Enchanted (e.g. in terms of quality, texture, etc.). Thanks for putting up these swatches. 🙂

I am completely thrilled by Lavender Lust and Orchid Haze, the quality has been upgraded and the shades are gorgeous, the Seductive rose has too much glitter for me to justify getting it but totally utterly in love with the other two !

I purchased the Lilac Rose Eye Palette from Bobbi Brown this past spring, but I was weary of the Pink Lily color because I don't usually wear purple. It turned out to be my favorite color in the set. I have fair skin and green eyes. The purple really made my eyes pop so I would be very interested in trying the Lavender Lust eye palette.

Sabrina I am wondering if you can advise me regarding two Chanel quads I am interested in…Raffinement and Variation. Since I already own the original Variations quad (toasted browns/peaches), I was concerned that Raffinement would be too similar, though Variation is pretty warm and Raffinement looks to be a bit plummy?…also I own Mystic Eyes so perhaps the new Variation quad is too close to that one to warrant purchase? I am usually B20 in Chanel foundations (thought it runs slightly dark on me) with hazel eyes and brown hair. Any input you can provide would be so helpful! Thanks!
