My lip gloss loving self is overjoyed these days because gloss seems to be back! Becca launched a new Glow Lip Gloss ($22 for 0.18 oz/5 g) in ten colors. They’re a conditioning lip gloss that has the coverage of a natural medium-pigmented lipstick with a soft shine but cream finish. If you like a gloss that doesn’t have a super high shine but more of a natural shine these are the glosses for you.
The Becca Glow Lip Glosses have a soft mint scent and apply very smoothly on the lips. There’s enough density so they won’t slide off the lips like other glosses but they aren’t super thick and they feel comfortable on. Becca says they have 3D light reflecting pigments and ginger + peppermint oil. The colors were inspired by their best selling Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighters and Luminous Blush shades so you can match your lip and cheek color.
Every single color is perfect. Pigment is natural but rich enough to cover the whole lip. There are lighter nudes in the collection that are wearable and do not wash my complexion out (yay!). All the shades are nice for everyday and there are a few bolder shades that can give a more dramatic look for something more fun. The packaging and design is the same as the Liquid Crystal Glow Glosses from last year, but the Glow Lip Gloss colors are a lot more wearable.
The product comes with an angled sponge tip applicator with a point for precise application. Colors descriptions and swatches below:
- Rose Quartz is a soft cool light pink shimmer
- Camellia is a cool-toned bright pink
- Snapdragon is a medium coral pink
- Opal is a nude opal pink shimmer
- Foxglove is a perfect berry mauve
- Champagne Creme is a shimmering gold
- Tigerlily is a coral peach shimmer
- Rose Gold is a neutral tan beige
- Chocolate Geode is a chocolate sparkle
- Dahlia is a plum (plums always look more red on my lips)

I cannot pick a favorite, every single color is perfect. I do find myself drawn to Opal, Foxglove, Snapdragon and Tigerlily though. A full look wearing the Becca Glow Lip Gloss + Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed in Opal:
- Foundation: La Prairie Skin Caviar Foundation + Concealer in Satin Nude (review here)
- Powder: Armani Luminous Silk Powder Foundation in #4
- Cheeks: Becca Sunlit Bronzer in Bronzed Bondi (swatches of all the colors here)
- Highlighter: Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal (review + swatch comparisons here)
- Eyeshadow: Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Eyeshadow Palette in Platinum Bronze (review here)
- Brow: Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in Soft Brunette
- Lips: Becca Glow Lip Gloss in Opal
- Top: Tie Front Tank by 1.STATE
Bottom line lots to love. The color is perfect, pigment is smooth and flawless, texture is comfortable. Lasting power is average for a gloss but with these I don’t mind reapplying. Moisturizing properties are medium – on the lips they feel good and the formula did not dry out my lips or make them peel the next day, but they aren’t as hydrating as a lip balm. I think these are perfect year round but the colors have that fresh spring to summer vibe that adds life to the face without overdoing the color.
You can find the Becca Glow Lip Gloss out now, available at Becca Cosmetics, Nordstrom, Sephora and Ulta Beauty.

These are stunning! Are the formulas the exact same as the liquid crystal collection? I can’t wait to try Dahlia and Foxtrot <3
I love love love Foxglove, Snapdragon, Tigerlily and Dahlia!
I really like Chocolate Geode on you. It is very unique.
Tanja
All shades are beautiful, but Opal is my favorite.
So many pretty colors! Too bad they have mint in them.
AGREE. I was all set to add Chocolate Geode and/or Dahlia (and/or Foxglove…) to my shopping list but I just can’t do mint. :
Tigerlily and Chocolate Geode are so beautiful on you!
Hi Sabrina,
Excellent post. My lips are about as pigmented as yours, and I also love glosses, so I find your reviews especially helpful. If I had to choose between the large photos, or side by side, I say the side by side is more helpful, but having both is even better.
The colors are really beautiful, I will need to check in store to see which I really fall in love with.
All the shades look gorgeous. The fine shimmer also helps give the illusion of bigger lips.
Thank you so much for swatching these because otherwise I might have passed on Chocolate Geode. Gorgeous colour.
Would love to know your favourite lip gloss formula!
Beuatiful colours,but i don”t like sparkle
I like Foxglove and Rose Quartz on you and I think that Chocolate Geode would work for me.
I loveeee the snapdragon color! It also looks beautiful on you!
I will def. try rose quartz and opal. I think they will look bomb on every skin tone
So pretty – I think foxglove is my favorite.
love the rose quartz!
I love Camellia, what a great idea to create these to match the skin perfectors
Opal is now officially on my wishlist. This kind of lip product is my go-to, usually no lip liner, barely a mirror & I am on the go. Needless to say, your swatches are definitely my first reliable source when it comes to deciding if I am purchasing something or not – Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, NARS, so much inspiration thanks to you.
Im really iffy about the glosses that have mint in them but I’ll have to test it out to find out if these will work @tahrerk56
Wow looks so flattering on you…I want them all
Snapdragon looks so pretty on you!
You made me reach to my lip gloss collection which I haven’t been using for quite a while! 🙂 p.s. Opal and Champagne Creme are wonderful!
Beautiful colors – never tried Becca
Chocolate Geode looks stunning on you, such an interesting effect, it brings a lot of mystery 🙂
Stunning shades and they all look beautiful on you! I will definitely be picking up Snapdragon and Dahlia soon.
My favorite is Opal!
Some colors are simply gorgeous!! My only issue is with lip products tht was the strong scent or the tingling senythey create on the lips.
Ooh my fave is rose gold!
The rose gold is stunning!
Pretty.
Wow these look gorgeous, I love Snapdragon, Opal and Tigerlily! Are these better than the Urban Decay Hi Fi Shine glosses that came out a while ago? I’m conflicted between Snitch by UD or Tigerlily by Becca! Decisions, decisions! Fab posts as always, thank you. I like the close ups of the lips pics btw.
I enjoy scent in my cosmetics, even heavy ones others sometimes hate like perfume-y French lipsticks, but I find the level of mint in this gloss ruinous. The mint scent/flavor is terrible with food or drinks (toothpaste with orange juice bad) and has destroyed more than one cup of coffee for me.
It is really too bad, because I love the formula otherwise, and several colors are completely me. And it was shaping up to be my favorite gloss launch in quite awhile until I realized I was plunging into a minty hell every time I wore it.
I am perfectly fine with the side-by-sides. Close ups are so much extra effort! 🙂
I have to say that you take some of the most gorgeous pictures and swatches I have ever seen! I have the Becca Rose Quartz gloss and so far I am really loving it! I am seriously thinking about picking up more, not only because I love the formula of the gloss, but also because your gorgeous pictures and swatches make me want them even more!
