Here’s a beauty roundup of new launches I have on my radar this week. From top left, clockwise:
The holiday collection from Chanel called Vamp Attitude just launched. I am still working on swatches for the Rouge Allure releases, but I know I will need the Le Vernis in Rose Fusion and the Le Top Coat Lamé Rouge Noir ($27 each).
Wander Beauty is a new brand that’s popped up on my radar. They sent a couple of the Exquisite Liquid Shadows ($26 each) for me to try (they are stunning, review soon). I’ve been browsing their site and the Paris Collection features four items for lips, cheeks, eyes and highlight that look like they could create the perfect polished look. Have you tried this line yet?
Eve Lom has launched a number of gift sets for the holiday. The Icons Gift Set ($260) contains their Cleanser, Intense Firming Serum, Daily Protection SPF 50, Eye Lift and a Muslin Cloth. There is a price break for this set (individually the items total a little over $300). Other options such as The Perfectors Set and The Classics which have different items and are at lower price points. If you’ve been eyeing any of these, don’t forget Space NK US has their Explore promotion that’s going on online through Sunday. Use code EXPLORE15 at checkout for $25 off any orders $100 or more.
Net-A-Porter has this amazing Smith & Cult The Shining Lip Lacquer Set ($150). It has eight lip lacquers packaged in a pretty black box. You can find the colors individually in case you’re one who prefer to pick out your own colors.
Bite Beauty always launches cute sets over the holidays. I ordered the Discovery Set ($55) a few weeks ago, I hope to review it soon. The Best Bite Rewind has four mini matte creme lip crayons. This one has more color for those who like something brighter with more variety. This one has been calling my name too.
Holiday season is the season of palettes. I stopped buying holiday or seasonal palettes years ago because I found if I didn’t like all the colors the palettes didn’t end up getting much use. The NARS x Stephen Klein One Shocking Moment Cheek Palette ($69) looks soooo pretty though. It has the Contour Blush in Paloma, Bronzing Powder in Laguna, four blushes in Robotic, Blasphemy, Luster and Dolce Vita. If you’ve seen or tried this let me know what you think!
MAC Magic of the Night Collection launches in stores this week. There are already some items that popped up online and as usual many pieces have already sold out within minutes of launching online. I was able to order Please Me Lipstick ($18) and Shaft of Gold In Extra Dimension Skinfinish ($33). I’m hoping nothing in my order gets cancelled.
What’s on your beauty radar this week?

I missed out on the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes online so I'm hoping to pick them up in store Thursday!

I just reviewed the Best Bite Rewind, it's great!
It is hard to keep up with the many products showing up around this time of the year. I bought some Chanel items both from the Rouge Allure lip and nail release and from the Rouge Noir release. Wore the Illusion d'Ombre in Rouge Noir yesterday and today – these are always challenging for me to apply and I need to practice. On me, it definitely needs an eye base. Looking forward to your thoughts.

I have that Bite Rewind Lip Set and I love it!

The Nars palette looks incredible, and you wouldn't have to buy a new blush for years I bet! (Even though I still would…haha)
Wow that Nars One Shocking Moment Cheek Palette looks so gorgeous, I really hope I get this under my Christmas tree!

Sabrina, if you have not tried the RMS nail polishes yet you really should. I am on day 7 of a manicure with Honest and there is not a chip in sight! I bought 5 of them LOL. The colors are so pretty.
There are so many beautiful items releasing this time of the year, it's the best! Love the Chanel items and also certainly am looking to try Wander Beauty! Thanks for sharing. xx, Corinne

I just received my Nars x Steven Klein One Shocking Moment palette in the mail yesterday! I've been playing around with it, and am definitely excited to use it for travel! I was traveling with separate compacts for contour, bronzer, and blush previously. It's a great, portable size! I think the pans are large enough that you can use regular contour/blush brushes without picking up multiple products.
Except for Tom Ford's holiday cream/powder eyeshadow duo in Night Sky, nothing is on my radar at this moment. Sara's (Color Me Loud) swatches and EOTD using the smoldering Night Sky all but had me drooling on the keyboard! LOL I already have the lipstick in First Time and think it will be a wonderful compliment to a gorgeous, navy, smoky eye. Because my eyes are deep set with a large moveable eyelid, I have to work something light into the mix or else my eyes will look terribly sunken. I was thinking the ice blue shade from Guerlain's Les Nuées would be a nice choice as a base and then I could use Night Sky generously smoked around the eyelashes and blended into the V and into the contour. I used TF's Black Oyster in that manner and it looked stunning and so I'm anticipating similar success with Night Sky. Perhaps, I'm so excited about TF's holiday collection because it is a cohesive and modern interpretation of a mid-sixties look that was ever so popular—lots of sculpted eye drama with a subtle MLBB lip and a subtly highlighted cheek. It was–and still is–one of my favorite looks which TF manages to keep modern and fresh.
