The week is flying by so quickly, I can’t believe it’s almost Friday. I picked up a couple new fragrances that have been on my wish list for ages. I picked up the small bottle of the Les Exclusifs de Chanel in Beige and Byredo Black Saffron (reviews coming in the next few weeks). Also new acquisitions are MAC Cremesheen Pearl Lipsticks in Shanghai Spice and Peach Blossom, both repurchases of lipsticks I used up a while ago. MAC lipsticks usually dry out my lips but I still can’t stop using them because some of the neutrals are really good.
The Le Volume de Chanel Mascara is a long-time favorite. I just found out they released a waterproof version so I ordered it. So far I’m really liking it and I hope they release more colors in the waterproof or bring back the Navy Blue one because as far as colored mascaras go, that one was my favorite.
Also on the lips this week are Chanel Glossimer in Seashell and YSL Pop Water Glossy Stains (swatches and review here). For cheeks I still can’t get over how much I love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light (also in a palette form). I’m going to call this one my never-ending bronzer. I use it a lot and still haven’t made a dent. It will probably last me forever.
Non-beauty related is my love for these rimless aviators (more colors here). It’s virtually impossible for me to find small sunglasses these days when oversized everything is in everywhere. Most of my sunglasses are several years old and it’s rare these days to find smaller frames to fit my face shape and size. These are 59mm and the perfect size for me. I bought them in multiple colors (three to be exact).
Last but not least, I’ve been really liking the Armani Eye Tints (#9 shown above). I am eager to see how the YSL Pop Water Full Metal Shadows compare (still waiting on these to ship, I have a few on backorder).

I love Chanel Beige. My favorite too! I have a small version in my Travalo that I always carry around with me. I want to try that Le Volume mascara as well. Been hearing about this being a favorite quite often. You had me at Waterproof! <3
Your picks look so summery already! It's not even looking like spring much here yet. I am currently loving single eyeshadows in Burberry 002 Nude and Nars Himalia so much I hardly use any others, I am loving my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes, and I am alternating between using softer, pink lipsticks and still wearing my winter plums and berries at every opportunity.

Thank you for the link to the sunglasses! I have the same problem: mini face and giant, oversized glasses everywhere I look. I have a rather ancient pair I guard with my life because they're the only ones that really fit … going to check these out.
I'd love to try out the Armani eye tints… They look so luxurious and I've never tried a liquid eyeshadow… I'm only just getting into the cream eyeshadows properly… They look pretty rad 🙂
My new discovery is the l'Oréal Infallible 24H Matte foundation, gosh I'm loving it so much!

I am loving the new Guerlain Joli Teint bronzer. I've also read that Hourglass is releasing a new bronzer for summer so I'm looking forward to that one too. Actually when I saw your pic I thought maybe you had gotten the new bronzer. I am going to have to look into Radiant Light as a bronzer, it looks perfect. I am going to get those sunglasses, I have a small face too that gets easily overwhelmed with the big frames.

Beautiful spring shades! I like here that you mentioned how sunglasses are so oversized. Apparently I have a child sized head, because nearly all sunglasses I try fall off my face- and I normally purchase child's frames (they actually have nice children's sunshades at Target, lol).

The two MAC lipsticks look like they will be perfect for spring. I'm also loving the Ambient Lighting powders and I'm so excited that they're coming out with bronzers, I can imagine that they would give a nice glow to the face.

Beige is one of my favorites in the Les Exclusifs line – have you sniffed Misia? That one is also very pretty! I need to pick up the travel set of Black Saffron – love that one, too! I am feeling that Goyard wallet – itching to add on to my wallet collection. Right now my top 3 faves: Armani Eye&Brow Maestro (still getting the hang of using that), LM Radiance Primer and Bobbi Brown Corrector (my must to get rid of tired mommy eyes). If I can slap all 3 on my face by the time I need to leave the house to drop off my oldest daughter, I feel accomplished! Bonus points if I can apply my favorite gloss – TF Sahara Pink. If it didn't cost so damn much I'd invest more in the lipsticks/glosses. TF is my current favorite lip products, sadly.
With temps in the 90's and Santa Ana winds blowing off and on, I never leave home without my Tatcha Dewy Mist Spray. Unlike other water based mists, this one has quite a bit of oil in it and so it adds moisture and forms an occlusive barrier to lock it in. Love this mist! Makeup wise, this week I wore bronzer for the first time this year–Guerlain Terracotta in 00. As we move into summer, I'll shift to Tom Ford's Terra but right now it is a tad too dark for me. On the eyes, I've been wearing neutrals with subtle cheek and lip colors in peach or soft coral. This week my perfume of choice has been Tom Ford's Rive D'Ambre–a warm Mediterranean scent. What's on my radar? This warm weather has me longing for the summer collections 🙂
