More Love For Paul & Joe

January 11, 2010

Paul & Joe and Bergdorf Goodman still remain at the top of my favorites list and I am super excited about the upcoming Wild Flowers, Alice In Wonderland, and new additions in cream blushes, eyeshadows and nail polishes for spring 2010.

Since my Paul & Joe series back in November, I have added a few more items to my collection thanks to the recommendations of the Bergdorf Goodman staff and think I have found my holy grail creamy lipliners!

The loot:

  • Lipliner 01 Plum – natural pinky color with plum tones
  • Lipliner 04 Caramel – neutral beige
  • Lipstick 12 Bougainvillea – neutral-cool rose pink
  • Lipstick 27 Debutante – sheer sparkley peach
  • Lipstick 28 Darling – beige
  • Eyeshadow 22 Belle du Jour – peach shimmer
  • Eyeshadow 91 Butter & Sugar – pale cream shimmer
  • Nail Polish 06 Framboises – mauvey pink cream
  • Nail Polish 09 Full Bloom – baby pink cream
  • Holiday Blue Paisley Makeup Bag – comes with a brush holder inside

* Note #28 Lipstick is not swatched b/c I’m undecided about keeping it right now.

Beautiful! (You haul for us all.) Because I just wear nude lipliner and a lip balm, I'm always interested in creamy lipliner in MLBB shades. Thank you for posting.

Do you know where the best place online is to buy Paul and Joe cosmetics, including their limited edition collections?? Thanks.

Krystal – I like purchasing products online at The Primping Parleur. They have a lot of limited edition products.

I've also ordered from dermstore.com (the have a 10% code for favorites) and beautyhabit.com as well.

    HTH!

    Hi Lina,
Because of you, I had to make sure I went to the P&J counter at Bergdorf's last month. The girl that helped me was so nice and accommodating (unlike the lady at the Edward Bess counter – another story). I am considering placing orders with her. SO my question to you is when you order from them are you charged CA tax? I still can't believe SF tax is higher than NYC!

Gorgeous new things! I actually have the #27 lipstick, but unfortunately I think it's a little too sheer for my lip pigmentation. I looooove P&J's lipstick packaging though!!

Full Bloom nail polish looks gorgeous!!

Wow… you always have the prettiest goodies of P&J! Both nail polishes look gorgoeus! Could you swatch them please? Thank you in advance! 😉

Ladies *lots* of P&J are on sale at softsurroundings.com I'm not affiliated in any way, but Googled P&J after seeing Lina's wonderful postings~ and I stumbled onto this. Lipsticks are $11.99 and other great deals too (eyeshadows, face color, powder, liners…lots of shades)! Didn't see any polish, though. Finding it is tricky, it doesn't show up as a brand when you click "sale". Click on what you want (lips, eyes etc) and scroll through products. Well worth it!

Gosh I love their packaging!! So cute and those shades are lovely too, great swatches as always ♥

Beautiful swatches! What are the lipglosses, especially 09? Carol

Belle du Jour – so pretty!

This looks like the nicest and prettiest of the spring collections I've seen so far xo

  • Replica January 12, 2010 at 7:51 pm

Love the look of lipstick #29 and shadow #22. When they bring out the pan eyeshadows do you know if they are making all the existing shades in pan form ?

  • Lina January 14, 2010 at 10:49 pm

Jess – I'll try and post swatches soon!

Lexi – My experience with BG is that they waive sales tax since I'm in California and there's no BG in CA. They do charge shipping of around $12ish though for the ground shipping. What happened at EB? Send me an email, I'm interested to know.

Replica – all the current single eyeshadows will be discontinued when they bring out the panned/paletted eyeshadows.
