I’m late to the game in sharing these beautiful palettes with you, but better late than never, right? For the Autumn/Winter Collection Burberry Beauty released two new Complete Eye Palettes ($60 each for 5.4 g/0.19 oz, made in Italy) in Nude Blush No. 12 and Slate Blue No. 20. I’ve been a huge fan of Burberry eye shadows in both the single and quad formats, I have been eagerly anticipating the release of the fall palettes.
Nude Blush No. 12 is a unique palette of rosy tones. All the shades are medium-to-dark in color with various finishes. The shades in this one include a soft nude pink satin, a warm copper pink, a soft mauve blush and a deeper eggplant shimmer. The texture is buttery smooth and they adhere well to the lids. All the colors layer well together in this one. The colors are truly unique compared to most other palettes I own. At first glance, it looks similar to Plum Pink No. 06 (which I do not own). Swatches on Silverkis shows Nude Blush to be a warmer and more unique option. You can see from Color Me Loud that Nude Blush is similar but warmer than Tom Ford Orchid Haze. To me this palette is a simpler and more subdued version of Urban Decay Naked3.

Slate Blue No. 20 is a beautiful palette of cool tones. This one is way outside of my comfort zone as I almost never wear blue shadows on the eyes. The colors are smoky in undertone making it a stunning palette. I experimented with this one a number of different ways, my favorite way to wear this is to use the deeper shades along the upper lash line but combined with a more neutral palette like Dark Spice. The pigment of the Slate Blue shades is medium but layerable. The colors have a slight transparent quality giving them depth. You can apply the shades damp for more color and a dramatic look.
Both are beautiful additions to the Burberry Beauty lineup. My favorite of course is the neutral option in Nude Blush which makes me very happy that I didn’t get Plum Pink when it was released. The Burberry Complete Eyeshadow Palettes retail for $60 each. They are available online at Nordstrom and Saks (available in store at select counters). Also available online at Burberry.
Many thanks to Burberry for sending these for review consideration.

Wow, these look so luxe and appealing! I'm not sure I like the different sized pans, but at least they're not random so you won't have a super small shade that you'll be using a lot.
Cool post 🙂

Very beautiful colors, you should definitely add a photo wearing the blue's as well, those colors would also look gorgeous on you!
Lovely swatches as always, Nude Blush looks very good on you. I think blue would also look very good on you, it should make your eye color pop. Thanks very much for the link love.
These are both lovely palettes, but by the time I got around to checking them out, I had already purchased a gazillion quads by Chanel and Clé de Peau–or at least it seemed like a gazillion 🙂 I thought the smoky blue palette was more evocative of winter with its cool light and rainy days than autumn which is still quite warm here in So Cal. Were it not for the fact that I had already purchased Chanel's watery blue Riviera, I probably would have purchased Slate Blue and tucked it away until the weather cooled off. That the colors are a bit transparent is a bonus in my book and actually makes this palette quite wearable. I know many women are all about opacity, but at my age, a more sedate approach to color is the way to go. I liken it to acrylic paintings (opaque) versus watercolors (transparent). They can both be stunning in their own right, but they create totally different effects and my personal preference is for the complexity of transparent layers. Ah-oh! It sounds like I'm talking myself into Slate Blue! LOL
Hi Eileen, I totally know what you mean! This seasons so many eye palettes were released! I think you are safe to stick with the Chanel unless you absolutely adore blues.
I already have Plum Pink and Orchid Haze (love the latter), and my Burberry eyeshadows are not my favourites out of my stash. So a pass for me! Looks great on you though :).
Glad to have saved you some $$ 🙂
Nude blush is really beautiful! I was always scared to wear pink tones because I thought they would make me look ruddy, but I gave the mauve tone in the lorac pro palette a try and it turned out really pretty and natural looking. These look like great wearable pink shadows to!
Hi Stephanie, pinks are tough for me to wear too but the Burberry is super wearable. If you want rose/pink tones but something more neutral, the Naked3 is a must.
Beautiful shades!

The Slate blue palette is certainly a favourite of mine – love cool toned palettes. I think the neutrals one is easily dupable. The blues look lovely on you – keep wearing them!
Loved the look you did with Nude Blush! And your swatches made me reconsider Slate Blue. Thank you so much for the link love! xx
Loved your comparisons!!
The blue ones looks incredible! I love that shade of colours!
Lots of love, xx

BEAUTIFUL SABRINA! Love seeing your features, but I do think you should sweep the eyeshadows upwards and outwards though! I have hooded eyes too, so that helps!
