I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend, I’ve been enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. Some weekend loves include:
- Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Killer Cheekbones Set for perfectly contoured cheeks and eyes (review soon, looks like it just sold out online but is still available on backorder)
- Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana (review) for something fresh, light and super feminine
- Armani Eyes to Kill Stretch Mascara (favs here) for long-lasting mascara
- Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in New Moon (swatches) for added sparkle and shimmer
- Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Rose Tricheuse (swatches here) for a bright summery lip
- Oribe Anti-Humidity Spray (mini) because I love the superfine mist it dispenses and also love the smell (I actually love the smell of all Oribe items)
Not beauty-related but I need to give a quick rave about two Nordstrom-Anniversary Sale items:
- These Nike Legend Capris are amazing, they are super flattering for workout bottoms, they hold everything in but aren’t too tight, I might get a second pair because the price is so good
- I live for Paige Denim (one of the few brands that fit me), I splurged on these Skyline Ankle Peg Skinny Jeans and am obsessed with them
- I passed on all other clothing items even though there are some amazing items, I tend to get overwhelmed by all the options, if you have any raves or good finds I would greatly appreciate your suggestions

Those are some gorgeous weekend pick! 😉 Good job on finding a couple pairs of staple bottoms in the Nordstrom sale — I always find store-wide sales like that to be so overwhelming.
I managed to purchase the Nars Dolce Vita Lip and Nail set from Mecca Cosmetica in Sydney, Australia, which is identical to the Nordstrom Anniversary set. Really enjoying the colour and the keepsake box is nice as well.
I'm also in love with the smell of Oribe products. I'm trying two spray mists and loving them
All beautiful choices! I think I'm the only person on the planet who didn't like New Moon! For me it was all glitter and sparkle and no color. I'm at an age where glitter ball eyes just looks crazy….hee! The only clothing I bought at the Nordstrom sale was a new bra and pantie wardrobe. I've lost weight and really needed to do this boring and sometimes frustrating bit of shopping. It's funny though….I forget how new undergarments can make a women feel so great. I love Nordstrom's personal fit specialists. I'm not that interested in lingere and Geneieve made it quick and painless. I agree with you about the sale. I never buy anything for fall at this sale. I don't want to think about fall clothing in July. Although the items look nice in the catalog, I'm rarely so impressed I have to run to the mall to look. I like to wait and hunt and see what comes up from other manufactures and stores. It's just more fun for me. That mass shopping experience for mass items made specifically for this sale is really boring to me.
