Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope everyone’s week is going well. Here are a few things that I’m loving right now:
- Nude pink sunglasses are my weakness, I’m surprised that I’ve managed to not lose or break my go-to Gucci 54mm in Pink/Brown for so long, I’ve also been eyeing these Marc by Marc Jacobs Rose Gold Aviators for a few weeks (any recs for sunglasses in general are welcome)
- Fujifilm Instax Mini 25
Instant Print Camera is one of the best things I’ve ordered through Amazon, it’s so much fun to use, it takes a bit of practice to figure out the best composition based on distance and positioning but that’s part of the fun - Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer #5 is a pretty apricot peach shimmer liquid highlighter that gives a hint of color to the face and brightens the complexion
- Chanel Songe #191 Glossimer for fall adds a soft iridescent pink glow to the lips and looks really good alone or over nude lipsticks like Tom Ford Nude Vanille
- Chanel Utopia Illusion D’Ombre from summer is a stunning feminine lilac pink shimmer for the lids, it’s made my favorites list numerous times, I recommend you check it out soon
- The One Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results
is on my weekend reading list for motivation and inspiration, if you have any good reads I’ve love to hear your recommendations

- If you were wondering what was in my Sephora bag, it was the Urban Decay Naked Skin Bronzing Beauty Balm which I’ve been obsessed with ever since I tested it in the store
- The Ecriture de Chanel Eyeliner Pens have changed my mind about liquid felt tip eye liners
- Chanel Les 4 Ombres in Poesie launched in stores, it’s stunning and I can’t wait to swatch it, I have one more shade on it’s way in the mail from Chanel.com, hoping it arrives soon, every single quad looks drop-dead-gorgeous
- Dolce & Gabbana has a mini summer collection with 5 new Gloss Fusion Lipsticks (Amaryllis, Jasmine, Lily, Lotus and Orchid) along with 3 new Nail Lacquers (Maia, Gaia and Daphne), I purchased the two warm peachy gold nail polish shades, the lips looked either too dark or too pale, but I might give them a second look
- NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadows have finally launched in stores, after falling in love with Europa and Andromeda, I’ve been eagerly waiting to try some other shades

I only recently bought the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, and I can't believe I didn't buy it earlier. I reach for it almost every day. I've also been getting a lot of wear out of both Mirage and Utopia from Chanel's summer collection.
I'm in the market for a nude, brown toned lipstick. So far, I've checked out Hourglass, MUFE and Bite Beauty. Might look at Bobbi Brown and Dior this weekend. Any recommendations?
Refined Lately
I've been getting shellac Bare Chemise on my nails — it makes for the smoothest base coat EVER and doesn't obstruct any other polish I layer on top!
I can hardly wait to see the Chanel quad you ordered from Chanel.com! I'm dying to try them all! I like the Ecriture de Chanel Eyeliner pen (I bought Brun), but Eyeko remains my favorite. I plan on checking out the new Nars eyeshadows soon as well as the YSL Fetiche palette. Lately I've been using my Chanel Illuminating fluid in Sunkissed everyday, I've been loving my Accent blush (Chanel) which looks like a very bronzey cheek on me, Chanel's Illusion d'ombres…I need to check out Utopia!. I've been wearing alot of glossy sparkly pink or coral lips. All Chanel….of course! I'm super excited to see the Nordstrom goodies too!
I have also been loving Chanel Utopia! I usually don't wear purples but I find this color to be so complimentary to my skin tone. I also just wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your blog!
