Soft washes of neutral colors and getting organized are on my mind this week.
Deborah Lippman Whisper Collection (1) has four shades of pale pastels that look so dreamy. The names are absolute perfection with Chantilly Lace (pink), Misty Morning (grey), Dreamers Do (mauve), Fine Romance (nude).
The spring releases from Marc Jacobs Beauty look amazing. Three new #Instamarc Light Filtering Contour Powders (2) have been released to sculpt, highlight and add definition. Shades include Dream Filter (soft pink/medium bronze), Hi Fi Filter (warm peach/ deep bronze) and Mirage Filter (light gold/ light bronze).
There are new lipstick formulas as well from Marc Jacobs Beauty. There is a long-wear bold color formula called Le Marc Lip Creme and New Nudes Sheer Lip Gel (4).
NARS Spring 2015 is all about soft nudes (5). I have so many things sitting in my cart right now. I’m trying to resist the urge to order sight unseen since nudes can be tricky. They look so beautiful, especially the Guyane and Vent Salé Lip Glosses, Reckless Blush, Valhalla Eyeshadow and Porto Venere Eye Paint.
I’ve been accumulating quite a few flat pouches and clutches but don’t have a way to store them properly. I’ve been propping them vertically next to each other. This GLAMdivide (6) lucite box by Glamboxes looks like it could be the perfect solution for me. (How do you store your slim clutches and flat pouches? I’m open for all ideas!)
New highlighting and contouring powders in different colors are popping up. Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palettes (6) come in four shades: Defining Nudes, Berries, Roses and Nectars. Bobbi Brown Brightening Bricks (7) now come in four colors too including Coral, Pastel Pink, Pink and Cranberry.

I've been seeing the BB brightening bricks and wondering how they compare to pressed Meteorites for Guerlain.
BB ones are so much more glittery while Meteorites are more of a soft focus, much more subtle and great to use all over as a finishing powder. Two completely different products
I do have one brightening brick in pink and I am not big fan. I do love shimmer but this is like a glitter bomb. It's just way too much. Definitely try it before buying.
Oo I am loving that GLAMDivide product, definitely something I could use! I feel like all my clutches are just a mess in my closet…I feel you girl, the struggle is real.

Oh–I love all these blush nudes for Spring! So pretty and inviting, especially in the midst of cold temps. I am drawn to the NARS eyeshadow and blush.
That clutch storage is amazing but I cannot get over the price for acrylic–I wish it wasn't so expensive as it is beautiful and I would love to have all my stuff organized within:)
On a totally separate note, totally off topic. I know it is not beauty-related (actually, that could be argued:) Would you ever consider a post on your absolutely precious kitty? I have 2 rescues (found at 4 weeks and a couple years later at 6 weeks) that have completely turned me into a cat lover! Thus, I am overwhelmed by the cuteness that is your, ragdoll. I think your readers would see the beauty:))
Hi Michelle, I'd be happy to answer questions about my kitty, although I don't know that there is much to write about with him. He's a little over 2 years old and thinks he's a dog (because we have 2 jack russells). He growls at the door when a stranger is there and prances like out pups too when there is food out. I love him to bits but he's been so moody since we moved.
Thanks for sharing–I am so surprised he fit in well with your Jacks–I had one about 14 years ago & can't imagine she would have done well with a kitty-LOL! That is great that that they get along so well:) I laughed about the growling-I had no idea cats growled but mine do the same thing when they catch someone coming up to the door or when the doorbell rings. They are such funny creatures-I can't believe I ever said I was not a cat fan before. I am eating my words big time!
I guess I was hoping to see lots of cute photos and the story of how he arrived. Now I want to see photos of ALL of your animals as I loved and miss my Jack Russell tremendously. Anyway, if you ever decide to post something–I am sure your readers would love it as most people are major animal lovers:) Have a great weekend!
