Rounding up some things on my summer beauty and accessory wishlist! I’ve been obsessed with finding the perfect beach tote and am still on the hunt for one, if you know of any favorites let me know in the comments! Some other things on my radar recently:
- Byredo Triple Gagnant Bois Hair Perfume Set ($120) – mini hair perfume trio perfect for travel and this comes in two options! Bois has Bal D’Afrique, Gypsy Water and Mojave Ghost. There is also a Fleurs version which has three different scents.
- Chanel La Base Mascara ($32) – part of the New Eye Makeup Collection, I’m not sure if this is a reformulated version of their mascara base or a repromote but I’ve ordered it to test!
- Chanel Longwear Eyeshadow Primer ($32) – Also part of the eye makeup collection, have ordered to test, will review once I’ve received and tried it!
- Madewell Tie Front Keyhole Camisole ($58) – I’ve been loving all things Madewell lately, I already own this top and love it, I also want it in black and pretty much everything else they have right now.
- STS Blue Distressed Boyfriend Denim Shorts ($39) – Probably my favorite brand for affordable denim shorts, I bought so many last year and this year I love the distressed versions. I pretty much live in shorts here in Florida so I’m stocking up! I also love these from 7ForAllMankind but they’re a lot pricier.
- J.Crew Circle Straw Crossbody Bag ($128) – This is the year of the straw bags! I see them everywhere and love the way they look. I already own this in the light color, contemplating the dark option for something different!
- Tory Burch Sienna Strappy Sandals ($158) – I already own the other two colors in White and Multi-Color and I really love them, these are a nice alternative to my go-to Miller Flip Flops, her sandals are expensive but the quality is so good, mine have lasted for ages and still look nice.
- Rodin Olio Lusso Mermaid Luxury Illuminating Liquid ($50) – This looks like the prettiest shade of tan illuminator! I’m trying to wait to see more swatches online as I suspect it could be too light for my summer tan.
- La Mer Moisturizing Matte Lotion ($260) – This has been on my radar for months, it sounds perfect for Florida weather but I’m trying to use up some other things before buying this. I do think Andrew would use it regularly though, he loves their Moisturizing Soft Lotion more than I do.
- Chanel Paris-Deauville Eau de Toilette ($130) – One of three new scents that launched from Chanel. I promised myself not to buy perfume without testing it first, but I have this on my list for the next time I’m in a city that has a free-standing Chanel boutique.
- Tory Burch Miller Canvas Tote ($348) – I love all things Tory Burch and love the simple look of this one! I’m desperately trying to find a cheaper alternative.
- Le Specs Bandwagon Sunglasses ($59) – Obsessed with colored sunglasses! These look promising, especially for the price.
- Replica Beach Walk Dry Body Oil ($60) – I bought this last year and love the way it smells. I want to buy another bottle, I especially loved that it comes with a spritzer. The only downside is that it’s not travel or purse friendly.
- Charlotte Tilbury Pretty Pink Lipstick Set – This is not officially out yet but will launch during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale next month with three new colors! - Chantecaille Sirena Bronzer and Highlighter ($78) – This has mixed reviews but I can’t get over how pretty the embossed pattern looks! I’m going to have to investigate. Texture looks interesting for summer.

I really want a waterproof e-reader, a great sunscreen and comfy, stylish shoes.
That Chanel has been on my wishlist also, and I may go down to Orlando to try it. Reviews are mixed, but I’m a sucker for a mandarin note in fragrance (hence having both Ford Mandarino di Amalfi and the Acqua version), Also, the ongoing quest for foundation. I now own four–!!–bottles of Nars Luminous in various colors and none is right. Would also like a Sisley Phyto Twist blush in a coral shade.

Right now the only thing on my sale wish list is the Tom Ford set. I fully expect that list to change a bit when I go in person, but not by a ton. I don’t need a lot of things right now. I may need to pick up some more jeans/pants for my new job. It doesn’t require business attire like I’ve need for the past 22+ years.
I forgot to say, I have the Chantecaille bronzer/highlight and I like it. I haven’t seen any mixed reviews myself but not many people review Chantecaille.

I’ve been eyeing the following:
-A pair of cool Clarks or Cole Haan leather slides. Both these footwear brands are top-notch comfort-wise thanks to the cushioned insoles they have.
-A feminine yet comfy cotton dress courtesy the beautiful Gal Meets Glam collection
-Madewell Sun Stripe Tee- I’m absolutely obsessed with stripes and this tee with its cute little sun embroidery makes it a welcome departure from your garden-variety striped tee.
On my radar is to try Charlotte Tilbury finally and maybe check out those Nars glosses. Do you prefer the Sisley over the NARS?

I need to check out the Chanel fragrance- I usually only like the Les Exclusifs line, but I love basil. I’m patiently 🤔, waiting on the Nordstrom Anni Sale catalog for Diptyque products.
The top three things on my summer wishlist: Chanel Paris-Deauville Eau De Toilette, Byredo Mohave Ghost perfume and Gaye Straza Kai Body Lotion. I recently purchased the full bottle of Byredo La Tulipe from Barney’s so that I could get their summer beauty sample bag. They have a sample of Kai body lotion in the bag. Oh, love it so much!

I was just checking out the Rodin Mermaid Lip Oil. It’s now on my summer wishlist along with UD’s “66” lipstick (the mauves get me every time) and Kjaer Weis’ new cream blush in Reverence. (I may end up with another of the MJ gloss sticks. I really love them.) Super review–I love to see items from several categories occasionally!

The La Mer matte lotion doesn’t live up to it’s price tag. I too live in Florida and found that it leaves my skin feeling kind of tacky – like it is sitting on top of my skin instead of really being absorbed.
A crushable hat with a brim big enough to shield my face, a liquid or cream bronzer (I really prefer cream textures in the summer), and a neutral pair of sandals. I haven’t found a pair that I love with the right fit yet 🙁
On my wish list this summer is Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder, Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, and a new bathing suit.
Pat McGrath lipglosses and Briogeos superfood shampoo/conditioner are on my summer wish list.

I definitely want to try to swing for the CT lip set during the sale, and maybe also the cheek palette as well. I also didn’t know or had forgotten about the new Chanel fragrance launches, and Deauville has family ties and good memories for me, as well as sounding like the type of notes I go for, so I may also see about that as my birthday was last week and I didn’t do any celebrating or presents or anything, so maybe I could see about that being the “instead of” thing I do.

I can’t wait to see what beauty items Nordstrom brings out. I’m always tempted to buy so many things once the sale goes live, even though I’m not always super impressed with the catalog.
Beach Walk is a pretty scent. For some reason I much prefer Caudalie Divine Oil and Luxe Huile Prodigieux. They aren’t as strong, but I find these oils of better quality and the scents more earthy.

I really want the Tom Ford set from the anniversary sale! Btw, I have swatches of that liquid Illuminator on my blog. It’s a very pretty golden shade, I don’t think it would be too light as you get more tan.

The Replica Beach Walk Dry Body Oil sounds like something I would love .. i love that it has a spritzer!! I tried the Body Shop shimmering bronze oil but I did not like it – too glittery and hard to apply. I have a list of things I want to buy! All Charlotte Tilbury makeup, the simple human mirror, Tom Ford palette. I always stock up with the Dyptique candles, perfect for the house and last minute hostess gifts. Can’t wait to do my haul!
There is so much on my wishlist! My top 3 are:
1. Some new makeup organization (likely an Alex).
2. The new Nars palette that is in the Nordstrom sale.
3. Ethics Candles Redwood National’s Avenue of the Giants. I lived in that area for several years and have such fond memories. I love the design of the box makes me feel like I’m there again and the scent sounds pretty great, too.
I just ordered the Tatcha QVC set with the Ageless renewing cream because it is such a good value, but the Charlotte Tilbury sets and the Tom Ford Set are definitely all on my radar! Such good buys!
