- Armani Ecstasy Lacquer 100 and 101 – I’ve already tested these and they are a huge miss. Pigment is pretty much non-existant, texture is very thin, I’ve tried others in this formula and they were pretty nice, these are a huge disappointment!
- Dior Addict Lacquer Stick – 320 Nude Wave is a really pretty pink peach, I have been a huge fan of Underground and Rolling, I was hoping they’d expand the color range and they have!
- Bite Agave Lip Mask Champagne – This is a repurchase for me! I’ve also swatched Maple for reference.

- Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal, Dreamsicle, Moonstone, Chocolate Geode, Pearl, Rose Quartz etc. swatches of all of the shades in this post here.
- Becca Hydra-Mist Set and Refresh Powder – Many of you raved about this, I’m really excited to try it as it reminds me of the old Prescriptives Powder that was popular in the early 2000’s.
- Cover FX Power Play Foundation in G50 – swatches + review here.
- Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Perfector in Shade 7 – this is a sheer glowy tint that has a hydrating feel and dewy finish. Review on the formula coming this weekend.
- MILK Makeup Blur Stick mini – haven’t tested yet, but excited to try!
- Sunday Riley The Influencer Foundation in 180, 190 and 200 – Detailed review to follow this weekend, I’ve been testing and swatching these and am really impressed! Stores near me each only had around 5 shades to sell in store. I could not find a match so I guessed and ordered online. This base looks like skin but better. It has a really smooth natural finish. 180 is a little peachy for me, 190 is my match right now, 200 is going to be a good summer shade. Quick take is I 100% recommend.
- Tarte Tarteguard Mineral Powder Sunscreen SPF 30 – I have high hopes for this as another sunscreen powder for touch ups during the day. Will keep you posted.

- Fresh Sugar Face Polish Full Size – Loved this in a miniature size I bought in a set over the holiday, finally bought the full size.
- La Mer The Eye Concentrate – This is my first luxury eye cream splurge, I usually buy eye creams that are at a lower price point. I have really high hopes for this one!
- La Mer Soft Moisturizing Lotion – Not shown because Andrew has already put it on his side of the bathroom counter and started using it, but I bought this as I used mine up a long time ago and really liked it. He’s pretty impressed so far.
- MILK B.O.S.S. Skincare Set – Thanks to my reader Lawler for putting this on my radar! It has 4 minis of MILK’s Watermelon Serum, Cooling Water, Matcha Toner and Matcha Cleanser in a mini bag.

As a college student, I only repurchased my favorites that have ran out. Wish I could have bought more, but I’m saving up for more clothes and shoes!
I have been using an Aquis hair towel for about 20 years now. (Not the same one). It really cuts air drying time and us gentle. I use the Aquis Turban for travel. It’s not as good on the length but it is easier to pack and gangs on a doorknob to dry overnight. This is one towel I can’t live without.

Great haul! I mostly got skincare and spf. Clinique take the day off, murad spf 50+++ for face, Kora organics moisturizer, a hair mini from devacurl, and 2 Marc Jacobs highliners. The highliners are a bit of a disappointment. I love the black one but the colors don’t come off as vibrant on my eye.
I ordered Neogen Dermalogy sunscreen, Volition Prismatic Luminizing Shield, Supergoop Glow Stick, Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum creams & bath bombs, Cocofloss, & Lancôme eye pencils.
I bought the littles from drunk elephant and jet lag mask. Both great for traveling!

I did two hauls last weekend and just placed another order…these sales are wonderful and terrible. 😉 My main purchases have been the new Guerlain Rouge Gs and new cases. Rouge G is my all-time favorite lipstick formulation and I love the new cases, so I’ve ended up with five of each (gulp). I got 06, 21, 22, 62, and 214. Unfortunately, 06 is very similar to the old Garance and it turns out 62 is virtually identical to the old 62, both of which I already own…so those were perhaps not the best purchases. The other three are gorgeous reds. On the plus side, I found out the old Rouge Gs fit in the fun new cases, so I’m able to mix and match to my heart’s content. Totally recommend exploring the new stuff if you like that formulation. I also got a TF lippie (Dylan–I’m on a red kick, perhaps because it still feels like winter here!) plus a bunch of Drunk Elephant and Biossance skincare backups. Oh, and backups of my beloved Amore Pacific lip balm (or whatever its official name is). This sale has been very, very bad for my wallet. And now your post has me thinking about the fact that I didn’t get any Beauty Blenders or the Bad Gal Bang that I also liked in mini form…yikes. Can’t wait to read your reviews of the foundations you got!

I love Armani, and am disappointed right along with you. The other Lacquer sticks I have are incredibly pigmented, but 100 barely showed on me and didn’t have nearly the lasting power as the other colors. I love the Ecstasy Shines so much, I can forgive this one imperfection! Go Dior! Love this line, but over the years, they rebranded the same colors. I’d love to see more expansion. Armani, Dior, Chanel, Tom Ford, and YSL are my go-to lippies. I’m afraid for my wallet to try Pat McCrath.

I had an allergic reaction to the La Mer eye concentrate. Their foundation is amazing – very natural looking and blurs my pores like no other.
I’ve had my eye on a Pat McGrath shadow palette. I’m looking more at the Sephora-only offerings, but I’m only BI so the discount isn’t mind blowing.

VIB Rouge, Round 1, I went for restocks of things I use up: Moroccanoil Hydrating cream and treatment oil, Hourglass Arch brow gel, Diorshow mascara and Beauty Blenders. I did treat myself to a small Jo Malone Orange Blossom cologne, because all the citrus trees are blooming here in California and I wanted to smell like my trees.
I was going to pass on Round 2, especially because all The Ordinary products I want are sold out, but the Smashbox lid primer sample I got with my last order has tempted me. And the IGK hair stylers are calling my name. And more Dior lip products are never a bad idea.

I got Aquis hair towel for 6weeks ago and it have changed my hair-life totally! My hair have went from super tangled (even if I always over nursery it both in the shower and leave-in) to so smooth I almost not need any products at all, only put some hair oil! I am blowed away by the result! I recommend it to everyone I know, just incase they get the same result!! Interesting to see what you think!

I recently got the Becca powder, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Shortly before it came out, I got a travel-size of the Prescriptives powder (for old times’ sake more than anything else). The Px is much more pink than the Becca, which looks slightly peachy and more skin-like in the container. The first time I used the Px powder (many years ago) I swirled my powder brush in the product and began to apply like a setting powder. I ended up with a huge, sparkling pink splotch where my brush hit first–the middle of my forehead. This time I’ll use a duo-fiber brush. From Sephora I got only the NARS Velvet Glides in Paradise Garage and Roseland. (Thank you for that review!) There have been so many great sales in the last month or so that I’m pretty much shopped out. I didn’t think it could happen!
Hope you liked Roseland and Paradise Garage as much as I do! I do remember the PX one being very pinkish in the shimmer. I have high hopes for the Becca one!
I did a haul last Friday (two of the Power to the Petal kits, a festival hair kit, the Sephora Cult Classic hair kit, my usual moisturizer, foundation, and one of the Sun Safety kit). I am super tempted after reading this post to order the Jet Lag mask and the Milk Makeup kit – they both look like solid additions to anyone’s regimen. If I order those, I can file them away under “The Beauty Look Book Made Me Do It”

Ooh, the Prescriptives Magic Powder! I remember that one and I had it, too. It was such an interesting, cool feeling powder.
As for my VIB order, I’m ordering mostly hair products (Verb, Keranique Briogeo & IGK), an Acqua di Parma set, Jo Malone and Voluspa candles & oil diffuser, and am on the fence about getting the Tom Ford Nude Dip quad (I don’t wear powder eyeshadow, so it’s kind of silly of me, lol) and I’ve also had my eye on the TF scent you bought, too. It’s a great warm weather fragrance. Loved this post and as always, your swatches are really helpful.
I find the Bite Beauty Unearthed collection is so darn tempting especially Arrowroot, Jicama and Yucca- they’re such unusual yet striking colors. They’ve been lying in my Sephora shopping cart for a while now (amongst other things). I’m going to pull the trigger now that the sale is on!

Oh boy I picked up more things than I planned…Got 2 shades of Sunday Riley Influencer 140+170. They cover the bases for my different skintones in different seasons. Picked up Hourglass Ambient Lighting in Mood light for mother’s day gift. I followed your recommendation and got the DL cuticle remover! It worked wonders. And I also managed to grab the Sun Safety Kit when it resurfaced for a few hours this past Tuesday.

I actually randomly swung by today and got two of the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks in Arrowroot and Lotus Root, along with the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum for my redness.
I LOVE the Bite lip mask! I currently have Champagne but next one is either going to be Maple or Lavender if it’s out in the US by then and actually smells like real Lavender. I’ve got some Becca and they’re all great highlighters. Also thanks for the roundup on them! Also I’ve been eying that MILK set as I do wonder about their skincare-type products. I also looked at the Power of the Petal set but I’m getting a mini of the Drunk Elephant TLC one in my Play box and have minis of most of them already so I passed on that. Great haul!

New stuff included the Cicapair Camo Drops, Tatcha’s Silk Canvas, and a different hanging travel organiser to replace my much older and very worn one. I’ve made three VIB Sephora purchased so far, including: Tom Ford nail lacquers in African Violet and Mink Brule , a bottle of Tom Ford Oud Fleur EDP, assorted Beauty Blenders, an extra tube of Benefit Roller Lash in Brown (I wish more brands and formulas came in brown!), and another tube of IT Cosmetics CC+ cream in Light. Unfortunately, I have to mix IT CC+ Fair and Light shades to get a decent match. I read they were coming out w/ new shades including an in between shade. Really wish they’d release it soon as I’m tired of buying two shades and mixing em!
Love your Tom Ford nail picks! I have quite a collection of Tom Fords, as a nail polish addict I am hooked on the quality of the formula and the ease of use for the brush. African Violet and Mink Brûlée are standout colors from that line.
Thanks! I’m a nail polish addict too – extra cuckoo in my case since I keep my fingernails bare. So I’ve got a zillion bottles of polish I use for toes only. WTH?! I love the Tom Ford colors. He’s incredibly good at finding just PERFECT shades. Even if he has a color I’m not fond of in general, his shade pick is bound to be flawless. I wear his “Bitter Bitch” shade constantly (yes I love the name!) I also own a lot of Chanel polishes. I’d love to hear what your fave polish colors are – I obviously love your taste! 🙂
So much yes!!! Tom Ford really does a great job curating the classic, essential nail color wardrobe. Chanel is my all time favorite line of polish, I have collected so many of them it’s a bit of an obsession. Not too fond of the reformulation to longwear because the brush and formula are so different. Too many favorites to name but I have Black Pearl on my fingers and Riva on my toes right now. other fave lines are YSL,Dior, Estee Lauder, Deborah Lippmann but lately I have been exploring Smith and Cult polishes. If you like nudes check out Peaceful Paranoia(similar to Chanel’s Rose Cache), Powder Posse(similar to TF Sugar Dune), Doe My Dear, The Graduate. Their staying power is pretty impressive, too.

They’re so great for travel, and I love that the price per ounce is pretty comparable to the full sizes. I always like to splurge on one special item each sale. I normally purchase during both the spring and fall sale but I resisted this year. The only things that kind of piqued my interest were the Fenty Beauty Gloss and the Blotting Powder. I mainly resisted because I’m doing a lot of traveling right now and don’t want to have to worry about stolen packages haha.
Maybe part of it has to do with losing my Rouge status this year but I think Sephora just doesn’t tempt me as much anymore. Ulta seems to have a much better rewards program, probably going to throw my money at them now 🙂

I love Sephora but there isn’t as much going on in the Sephora stores in Spain compared to the US. I always have to find a friend who’s going there to bring me something that I’m lusting over as they don’t have those great deals over here, like the Sephora favorites and such. I’ll be curious to hear how you like the Tarte SPF powder. I have fair skin that is normal/dry and sensitive. I apply SPF daily, but always need to touch up. I wonder if this product might work for me?
