Hi Sabrina! Love the blog. I check daily and I love your take on products. My most expensive beauty item would probably be the Neulash Lash Enhancing Serum. I have been using this lash serum for about 2 years now and I love the results. I naturally have short, straight, sparse lashes that grow downward. But with regular use of the serum, I now have long, full lashes that grow upward and fan out. Out of all of my beauty purchases, this is probably the one thing that has made the biggest difference in my overall look.
I do have my eye on the Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara and am still deciding on whether or not I “need” the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer.
I’ve been going back and forth on it put I think I am about ready to buy — the Drybar three day bender curling iron.

A few times a year, I’ll buy Sunday Riley’s Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment…I believe the 1oz. bottle is $135 CND plus taxes (13%). This is certainly my most expensive beauty purchase (indulgence!) but I love it and it works, so pay I must! LOL

Oh, such a good question! I think my most expensive beauty product is a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the colour pillowtalk. Such a beautiful colour and definitly worth the splurge. How do you always manage to tae such beautiful pictures? I can look at them for ages! Lots of love, Bianca x
My most expensive beauty purchase has been a powder brush from Houkodou; the combination of the length of the bristles and amount of grey squirrel hair used to make this hand-crafted Japanese makeup brush all add up to hefty price tag. It’s more of a collectible rather than a makeup tool for daily use, but I still treasure it either way.
My most expensive beauty item? Oh dear, probably my Sisley-Paris lipstick in Rosewood. But I wear it almost everyday as it’s the perfect everyday color for me and my usual eye makeup. And it feels amazing too, totally worth the price.
Hair dryer is the most expensive thing, but that didn’t feel like as much of a splurge as my Tom Ford cheek brush!
Tom Ford lipsticks are definitely up there along with Giorgio Armani Power Fabric! Accidentally bought the wrong shade so I had to get another one. Damn. Worth it though!

The most expensive beauty product i’ve purchased is most probably an eyeshadow palette (as they’re totally my beauty weakness) Probably the Marc Jacobs palettes – painfully pricey for what you get but oh so pretty!
I’m not really sure but it’s probably my Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette, I remember making sure I was going to wear it enough because I was afraid of just wasting money. Funny thing is that I actually started wearing it a lot and just as the design on the pan started to fade away I stopped using it because I wanted it to look pretty hahaha. It’s one of those things I like know that I have and use it very sporadically. It’s either that or my customized MAC palette, simply because their eyeshadows are twice the price in Mexico (so unfair!).

I splurged in a Tom Ford lipstick I had been eyeing for months. Funny thing is that when I finally ordered the shade, it looked awful! Thank goodness for the Nordstrom return policies. I have also purchased some Algenist skincare, though I don’t consider skin care of any kind a splurge!

Definitely the most expensive item I bought (as a birthday gift for.myself) was the Rouge Louboutin Silky Satin (dont know shade name, but it’s a true red). Love it, but I don’t use it everyday, just for special occasions to make me feel extra sassy haha
The most expensive beauty item so far has to be my hairdryer. I used to use the drugstore ones that cost maybe $25 so the T3 featherweight was a huge jump. I will say that my hair has never looked more polished and is no longer frizzy from blow drying.
Ps- as cool as the Dyson hairdryer is, I am not shelling out $400. The T3 was enough of a splurge and does very well.

I bought the most expensive Clarisinuc brush they were selling at the time. And now years later the brush won’t hold a charge. That was awhile ago though. I guess the most expensive recent thing I’ve bought is Oribe hair products. I love their stuff and have tried lots of different things: supershine cream, texturizing spray, dry shampoo, foundation mist, gold lust shampoo.

I think my most expensive beauty item was the new Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream, which is completely amazing!! I have also splurged in that price range on the La Mer Soft Cream and Eye Concentrate, and Cle de Peau Brightening serum. As for makeup, my largest splurge was the Cle de Peau Radiant Cream Foundation.
I know it’s not crazy expensive, but the most expensive beauty product I regularly splurge on is Oribe Creme for Style for my hair. It’s my holy grail hair product!
Most expensive item I purchased; $305.00 which is Tom Ford’s newest fragrance SOLE DI POSITANO 3.4 ounces without testing first. I purchased it because of Beauty Look Book’s blog post. I live in NC and the humidity is very high like in Florida where Sabrina lives now. I can smell it when I am walking back into my home from walking the dogs. Even the dogs like it, as they always hang onto to me when I use it, which is all day, everyday.

For me, the most expensive beauty item I’ve splurged on recently was Jo Malone’s Blue Agave and Cacao perfume from Ebay. I’m crushed that they stopped selling it (why? so many people are upset now that they can’t get it!) and I bit the bullet and bought a bottle for more than I’ve ever spent on fragrance. I’m so happy I have it now though and I treasure every drop.

Most expensive beauty item I’ve ever splurged on was a Mac foundation brush (159). I know that’s not actually that fancy, but as I’m partway through my second university degree, I can’t go too crazy! The brush was a great investment, though, so much better than my previous drugstore brushes!
Most expensive beauty item I’ve purchased is probably my Jo Malone perfume! I got the big bottle of Peony blush & suede, but I love the scent so much it was worth the money!
The most expensive item I splurged on was a big bottle of the Dior Jadore perfume. I love the scent so much I couldn’t help myself and it’s one of my favorites to this day. I still have a little over 1/2 bottle left.
My most expensive purchases have definitely been brushes- Suqqu and Tom Ford. Also Tom Ford fragrances, the full sized bottles of Black Orchid and Orchid Soleil. Priciest purchase that was specifically makeup is probably the By Terry Magnet Eyes palette…no regrets on any of them 🙂
My most extravagant products were actually gifts! I got a bottle of Burberry Body the year it came out for my birthday- my first “grown up” perfume. Then last year my lovely mother bought me a bottle of Chanel’s No. 5 L’Eau for my twentieth birthday! I cried, I was so excited. But an actual purchase I’ve made for myself would be my Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder. By your recommendation, I bought it and the One-Step Camellia Oil and my skin has been changed since! Not as oily, smoother- just overall better. I ran out around Christmas and bought a duo of the travel sizes, unfortunately I’ve finished that now too. Off to Sephora I go!

The most expensive makeup product I have purchased recently is the Tom Ford Nude Dip eyeshadow palette. I went back and forth on this one for a while and wished I had done it sooner. Such beautiful shadows and so easy to work with. For skincare, I think it would be the Dior Capture Totale Serum. It was the larger size so naturally it would be pricier. Works so well with my skin. I have a bit of an expensive perfume habit so I’m a little embarrassed to admit that my craziest splurge was on a bottle of Shalini.
The Suqqu cheek brush for sure – I think it’s the only single item I have that I paid north of $100 for. Totally worth it for me, though I don’t think it’s worth it for everyone.

Most expensive for me was the La Mer sleeping mask which unfortunately did not really do anything wondrous for me.
I would have to say the Christian Diorissimo I buy exclusively as my mom taught me and also a few La Mer products when I can afford them.
Probably a Skinceuticals serum. I loved it. It left my skin smooth, plump, and blemish free. I read online that the Clinique version was equivalent for much cheaper, but I miss my old serum 🙁 The Clinique version leaves my skin smooth initially, but I think it clogs my pores.
I have many as I have become more of a makeup collector! Other then spending a lot of my money on my lil angel… the La Praire $219 foundation!! It is one the best but my favorite is La Mer and Chanticaille future skin although cheaper is my holy grail. Sorry for getting of the subject … haha😁🙏❤️
I won’t approach the perfume issue since I do have a bit of a problem there, but my most expensive beauty product would be the new LaMer foundation in Linen. I tried to tell myself it was not worth it, but it really is. My next purchase will be the powder.

I have spent more on skin care, but the most frivolous I have been (in a good way), is purchasing Tom Ford lip shine in Lust. It’s such a lovely pink roses, worth every penny.
Le Volume de Chanel mascara. So expensive in Australia but I did love the volumising and fluttery effect on my lashes….an expensive treat but I enjoyed every use.
I splurge on skincare in this case is Sulwhasoo firstcare activating serum
but I really love it!! My face doesn’t feel sticky and I love the light scent of ginseng too

The most I’ve splurged was on the Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer. Hands down the best concealer I’ve tried and will probably always repurchase.

I consider the most expensive items in my collection to be my two Serge Lutens lipsticks. While I have things which cost more (e.g. palettes), they stick out as an pricey indulgence.
The biggest purchases on my vanity are probably a Guerlain eye palette (coup de foudre, I think) Tom Ford lipstick in Casablanca, and Tauer’s l’air du desert marocain perfume. I probably could have avoided the eyeshadow as I don’t actually wear much eye makeup, but it’s pretty and I do pull it out from time to time so it’s not a total regret. It has caused me to think twice (or more) now before buying other eye products though.
Most expensive purchase I guess would be the guerlain terracota, which I love.. and hate.. cause i buy it as soon as I finisf it. Oh it’s so good and versatile. Just this and mascara makes the perfect summer night out look! All the love, from Greece

I have spent on a moisturizer from Darphin products.
I remember my first splurge which is probably the most expensive. It was for skincare from Shiseido. I no longer use Shiseido, but I was happy with it. The line is now called the Essentials. I don’t remember it being called that when I bought it back in college. I bought the purifying mask, moisturizing massage mask (maybe discontinued), cleansing massage brush, gentle foaming face wash, eye cream, day and night lotion, and the toner. Seems like the line I used no longer really exists.
I so want to win this!!!
The most expensive product I bought recently is a cleanser from May Lindstrom – The Honey Mud ($120Cdn) which is a ridiculous price to pay for a cleanser. I will enjoy using it while it lasts, but will probably not be repurchasing.

The most expensive thing I’ve ever bought beauty-wise is probably the Cle de Peau cream foundation. I was devastated when they reformulated it and highly skeptical of the new version (the radiant cream foundation). I still miss the old version, but the new one is excellent, and I’ll repurchase it again.
I keep trying to find a cheaper alternative to the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum, but I come back to it every time! I just can’t find a vitamin C serum I like anywhere near as much.
The most expensive thing(s) I’ve ever purchased, in the name of all things beauty, would be Fresh’s Creme Ancienne (skincare; broke me out, also it just hovered on top of my skin), Chanel’s Les Exclusifs de Chanel’s Coromandel (fragrance; so worth it), Tom Ford’s Soleil Contouring Compact (cosmetics; gorgeous but doesn’t get daily use). I absolutely adore your blog and your whole aesthetic.
Most expensive treatent was IPL. 700 for 2 treatments for sun spots and freckles. While it helped some I still need more, so it will maybe cost me another 700 to 800 to get rid of everything.

Definitely May Lindstorm – Blue Cocoon. I only use it when I have a lounge/makeup free day or at night but it is amazing and so nourishing for the skin! And from time to time I do cave in at the airport and buy myself a Tom Ford lipstick for my collection 🙂

My most expensive, though, would be the Hermessences – Vetiver Tonka, Iris Ukiyoe, Vanille Galante. Skincare would be Good Genes that I repurchase regularly, and SK II.

At the time I was just in my first year of college so it felt super bougie, it turned out that it wasn’t even the right shade :'( but at that point it was too late to return. I haven’t been able to get myself to throw it away it, even though it’s been 3 years since that purchase..
The most expensive items i’ve splurged on was a number of Bobbi Brown makeup brushes. I’m only a student so it meant a huge deal to purchase them all. Luckily they’ve lasted me throughout the entire time i’ve been at university so lucky me!

Chikuhodo Makeup brushes! Paid over $200 for a brush set. they were soft and luxurious. But, not sure the were worth the price as some lower priced brushes gets the job done. Definitely a guilty splurge.

For makeup, it was definitely the 2015 Givenchy Prisme Libre Couture Edition with the photorealistic peonies. It was exclusive to Australia and Japan, so I got it from eBay for $70.

I splurged on the Tom Ford traceless perfecting foundation (and the stick) and now they’re my HG’s so I don’t regret it one bit! I love foundations, so I wish I could say my biggest splurge was the La Prairie foundation! Would love it if you could do a review on it sometime Sabrina!

My biggest splurge has been Tom Ford, specifically the Pink Glow Eye & Cheek Palette.
It’s actually a very recent purchase, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino EDP. The scent is just perfect for summer, I love the freshness.
Seems like all my biggest splurges are skincare…most recently, a giant bottle of P50 1970 – will use that stuff forever 🙂 My makeup purchases wouldn’t be splurges for most, but I recently bought – and am 100% in love with – the Marc Jacobs Coconut Bronzer.
I typically splurge on skincare more than anything else. I recently picked up Tata Harper’s brightening essence. So far I’m loving it but will have to test drive for a bit longer to see results.
