Marc Jacobs Beauty fans, in case you have been searching for some nail lacquers seen in May/June issues of magazines, there are some new Hi-Shine Lacquer Nail Polishes that are exclusive to Marcjacobsbeauty.com. There are five shades in some stunning neutrals in Tootsie, 9 to 5, Klute, Charlie and Julia ($18 each). I just ordered one of each and will report back with thoughts and swatches when they arrive.

I have Ultraviolet, and have swatched many of the other colors in store. I like the Shiny top coat, but feel like some of the other colors are too sheer (3 coats for opacity) or the colors aren't original enough for $18.
I'm looking forward to seeing your swatches of these new colors. I want my nails to look well groomed, but because I have arthritis in my hands, I don't want to call undue attention to them. These more subdued, neutral colors are just what I favor wearing on my hands. I save the fun and more unusual colors for my toes 🙂

I'm looking forward to your swatches, like Eileen! The set feels very fall, which is a tough seasonal color palette for me to wear, but I'm interested to see the nuances in the light pinks.
