My top nail picks/recommendations:
- Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquers ($18 each) are fun and reasonably priced (see reviews of Petra, Lola, Daisy and Le Charm)
- Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Oil ($20) is a must for me, I use it regularly to keep my cuticles from peeling or cracking
- Sephora FormulaX Delete Nail Polish Remover ($10.50) has impressed me with it’s ability to remove nail polish well without being too harsh on my sensitive nails, plus it has a great pump dispenser which makes it easy to apply to a cotton pad
- Guerlain Vega ($25) is a classic deep vamp
- YSL La Laque Couture ($27 each) rivals Chanel and Dior in color and lasting power (Sephora still has Rose Baby Doll online!)
A few other recommendations:
- Diorshow Extase Mascara ($28.50) is one of my favorite Dior mascaras, this is always a good time to replenish or stock up on a few mascaras
- Dolce & Gabbana Smoky Eye Quad ($60) is hands down THE best smoky eye shadow quad (review here)
- NARS Matte Multiples ($39 each) perfect multi-tasker with rich blendable pigment that lasts all day long (Altai is my must-have for natural contouring)
- Drybar The Chaser Shine Pomade ($28) is my holy grail hair product, I use it before or after blow drying and it works wonders on the hair for a sleek and healthy shine, my husband steals this from me all the time
- Drybar Texas Tea Collection ($23-25) I’ve had such great experiences
with their Happy Hour Shampoo/Conditioner, I’m so excited to see a few
new additions to Sephora
Have you already purchased anything from the Sephora sale? I’m all ears!

Oh, I love your picks! I've been looking at the Marc Jacobs nail polishes and this is the perfect time to grab a few! xo Kelly msdioraddict.blogspot.com
Sephora's sale came at the perfect time to restock some of my perennial favorites that were running low: Jack Black lip balm, Jack Black protein boosting serum, and SKII mask-in lotion. I also treated myself to few extras like the new NARS matte multiple. I especially like how Sephora phased in the purchase dates beginning with VIB Rouge, then adding VIB, and finally Beauty Insider. It gave everyone a chance to get a discount while giving their best customers first shot at the goodies before things started to sell out.
I second your choices to get the Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Oil and new NARS Matte Multiples. I think it is also a good time to get the new NARS brushes and the quite newly released Hourglass Ambient Lightning Blushes. I would personally hold off buying mascaras (my favorites are from Dior) if I don’t need one right now and wait until Nordstrom have their buy 2 get 1 free mascara deal (I believe they do this twice a year, one in spring and one in the fall); it is a much better deal this way.
So far I simply have used sale opportunity to restock my skincare staples: Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion and Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector serum. I went to the VIB Rouge Spring Social and got some brow tutorials so I also bought Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel to try.
I stocked up on my favorites – YSL Touche Eclat, Marc Jacobs Highliner gel eye crayon, Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Gel, and Clinique All About Eyes Serum. I also got a few things new to me I'm excited to play with – NARS Matte Multiple in Anguilla, Dior Capture Totale Eyes (with bonus size samples of DiorShow mascara and primer!), YSL nail polish in Bleu Majorelle, Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gel in Role Play, Marc Jacobs blush in Obsessed, NARS tinted moisturizer.
I decided that this was the time for me to try Hourglass products and so far I am LOVING them!!
