Happy New Year to everyone! This time of year is my favorite because of everything I have to look forward to in the new year. It’s like I can to hit the refresh button and get a fresh start on everything. In 2013, I wrote 218 blog posts, started to use Instagram weekly, and finally created a Pinterest account. Many thanks to FabulousK, this blog went through a re-design for a cleaner updated look. One of the top 2013 highlights included having my work credited and featured in Brigitte Magazine (photo featured here). In my non-blogging life, 2013 proved to be one of my most challenging and demanding years in my career as a business analyst. I’m grateful for my mentors who pushed me to grow to new levels with challenging projects and opportunities. One in particular mentor challenged me by telling me, “learn to become comfortable with the uncomfortable and you will be amazed with the results.” Taking risks and working on projects in a wide range of fields while pushing myself to accomplish things I thought I could never accomplish has allowed me to grow in ways I could never imagine. I hope to continue to grow in the next year in my career while at the same time I hope to grow this blog as well.
In 2014 I look forward to trying new things. I would like to focus more on skincare. Time management is always on the list. I need to improve my organization and plan ahead more often. In 2014 I would also like to expand and grow the content, pick up on my lifestyle blog, use Twitter more frequently, connect more with my readers. I’m still making my list of resolutions for the new year, but I am excited about what 2014 will bring. A few special thank you’s to Café Makeup, Temptalia, Karen at Makeup and Beauty Blog and Cute and Mundane for their continued support.
Here’s to an amazing 2014! Happy New Year to everyone! I’m incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for your support and inspiration. What are you looking forward to in the new year?
Love,
