Chanel is the first this year to release a spring collection. I spotted in stores at counters last week at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. I was in a rush so I left with what I knew I wanted: Tapage Le Vernis, Charivari Le Vernis, Sonate Glossimer, Murmure Glossimer and Impulsion Illusion D’Ombre. I skipped the quad, duo, blushes and lipsticks. I might revisit the blushes but honestly I’m overloaded with cream blushes, I can probably skip the ones from spring.

I just received my order from Chanel that included Diapason, Charivari, Tapage, and the powder blush called Emotion. I was tempted by the lip products in this collection but didn't purchase any so I can't wait to see your reviews! Thanks for the preview…

Honestly, Chanel I think have been doing several repeat offenders of me-too colors. Even with my very-limited Chanel collection, I can already think of several colors that are near dupes/variations/may differ slightly on skin but only up close and with squinty eyes :-). Let's see… Fougueuse with Cambon RC, Ballerina with Tendresse (unfortunately dc'ed), L'Adoree is perhaps a matte version of Caractere (if anyone still remembers this lovely color) — ditto with La Diva being the matte version of L'eclatante, and Quadrile perhaps a more pastel version of Enigma, the list go on and on.
This is when your excellent blog comes to the equation on whether or not I should purchase any of these.

Very pretty, and I really liked the look on Weekendramblings, but on your spectra link I see swatches on a girl who is more my colour and these are not my cup of tea. Plus, yes. all Chanel eyeshadows and lipsticks are starting to look the same to me. I shall swatch these if I find them at a counter, but won't be rushing to bulk-buy online.

Beautiful picks! I really like the shades in CHANEL Spring 2014 (though I guess I could say the same for CHANEL spring every year…). My favorites here would probably be the Quadrille quad, Dedicace Rouge Coco, and Preface Poudre Universelle!
Too gorgeous, I'm looking forward more for Chanel than for Dior's sugar rush. Unfortunately Holland will get everything when almost the whole world has bought/swatched it but that will get me more prepared swatch-wise
Is it just me or do the blushes look the same as the ones they released for fall? hmmmm….
I'm just so excited for this collection! I love La Diva, and I have to get Triomphe as well. And probably Melodieuse. And the lipliners. Haha.
I haven't gotten anything yet, because it's not out in Norway until late January. Which I think is a good thing. It just feels so silly to me to buy spring collections BEFORE christmas. I want something to be excited about once christmas is over.
