Dior Diablotine 643 Addict Lipstick and Lipgloss

After playing around on the Dior Addict Minisite, I went back to Nordstrom and picked up Dior Diablotine 643 in the Addict Lipstick ($31) and Lipgloss ($29.50) formula to match the Nail Lacquer ($24) (reviewed last month here). The looks from Dior showed that using both the lipstick and lipgloss created a lush lip look that is perfect for spring to summer. Being the coral fanatic that I am, I didn’t need to see them in person to know they were must-haves. (Click photo below to go to Dior’s Addict minisite.)

The Dior Diablotine 643 lip options are similar to that of Spring Ball 343 in the sense that both lip colors are more subtle and soft than the nail polish versions. Diablotine Addict Lipstick and Lipgloss do have more color than Spring Ball so they show up better on my lips, but are still natural enough for my neutral-loving self.
Diablotine 643 Addict Lipstick is a coral in the tube but goes on more pinkish on my lips. The texture is smooth, finish is semi-shiny, pigment is medium but slightly transparent. There is subtle shimmer in the tube but you don’t really see it on the lips. Diablotine 643 Addict Lipgloss is a true coral peach loaded with tons of gold shimmer. It’s a high-shine gloss. It’s gorgeous. The gloss is similar to Chanel Nakkar so you probably don’t need both. The Dior is more sparkly and more red/orange.

Lips and nails side by side:

I love both the lipstick and gloss formulas of Dior Diablotine #643 (along with the nail polish). The formulas feel luxurious on the lips. They have a nice moisturizing feel. I purchased mine from Nordstrom in store. The entire Sparkling Shine is also online at Nordstrom.com and other Dior counters and boutiques.

Oh great, another shade that I love! I aactually thought I'd love Delice the most but Diablotine in lipstick form is just as gorgeous!

Ahh I honestly can't wait for the collection to be available here (another 3 days)! I have Diablotine and Princess glosses as well as Spring Ball Vernis, but I'd love to check out the lipsticks!!! I'm a coral fanatic as well, so there's a lot of temptation here 😉

I love this color..I reviewed it as well and have been using since the first day I bought it. Pleasantly surprised at how subtle but glamorous it looks.
    Great review.

Both looks are absolutely stunning on you, so much so that I will be checking them out in person asap. Hoping for similar effect with the lipstick.
    Thank you!

These look so beautiful. Dior never disappoints me with their products, and I'm a big fan of their lipsticks and glosses.

    Hi Sabrina,
I was smitten with you photos of the Vernis Diablotine earlier and it's so fun to see matching Addict gloss and lipsick! The Diablotine lipstick is absolutely gorgeous on you— somehow the color is brought out so well on the lips 🙂

Diablotine is one of the softest red glosses to come along since Nakkar. It looks so smooth and luscious on the lips and has beautiful shimmer and depth. I also love how non-drying this formula is. So many glosses leave my lips looking and feeling a bit chapped at the end of a day, but not the new Addict glosses. I can wear them all day in perfect comfort and my lips look like they've spent the day drenched in balm 🙂

Diablotine is absolutely gorgeous on you, Sabrina

Gorgeous! I think I like this better than Spring Ball. I'd like to know what the Dior model is wearing, on the website, the very top one where she wears the yellow top. V. nice pictures as always.

    Hi Claire,

She's wearing Diablotine. If you go to Dior's site, you can see her wearing the other three "It" colors as well. Just click on the color and you can see the various looks.

I cant wait to try this gloss. I was a little worried that it was going to be close to Chanel Calypso but I am so happy that you thought of everything and swatched them together! Brilliant! Thank you.

Oh my goodness! Dior is killing me! I love all of these so much. I just wish that the lipsticks and glosses were more pigmented. I still love the colours though and Dior Summer is going to put me in the poor house as well.

I tend to stick with glosses rather than actual lipsticks. They look great on your lips!

I love these on you. And on me, too. 🙂 Honestly, I can't find a dud in the whole bunch. I'm really loving them.

Definitely prefer the look with the gloss, so much shinier and sexier! Love, love, love Dior even more now, will put this on my shopping list for my next trip.

I use Diablotine too, but I have to say it looks way better on you! I also own Spring Ball – that one is more of an everyday color that is quite versatile too.
