Hi Sabrina! Love the blog. I check daily and I love your take on products. My most expensive beauty item would probably be the Neulash Lash Enhancing Serum. I have been using this lash serum for about 2 years now and I love the results. I naturally have short, straight, sparse lashes that grow downward. But with regular use of the serum, I now have long, full lashes that grow upward and fan out. Out of all of my beauty purchases, this is probably the one thing that has made the biggest difference in my overall look.

I do have my eye on the Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara and am still deciding on whether or not I “need” the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer.

  • Lyse Davitt

I’ve been going back and forth on it put I think I am about ready to buy — the Drybar three day bender curling iron.

Love your blog, it’s always so lovely to look at.

  • vava

Anna sui beauty items like beauty balm , lip gloss , eyelash curler and talk Paris perfume . I can’t remember but perfume is pricey for sure .

  • HiHelloNikki

My most expensive beauty item is Latisse lash growth serum. It works so well that several of my friends asked me where I had my lash extensions done.

  • Lisa Carbone

Ohhh, this is a good question…
A few times a year, I’ll buy Sunday Riley’s Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment…I believe the 1oz. bottle is $135 CND plus taxes (13%). This is certainly my most expensive beauty purchase (indulgence!) but I love it and it works, so pay I must! LOL
    Thanks and Happy Friday
    Cheers, Lisa
    @LittleMama71

  • Hmm, most expensive beauty item. It would be Chikuhodo MK-2 powder brush for makeup, SK-II essence with the LE blue humming bird origami pattern for skincare, or Tria 4X laser for hair removal in general.

  • Bianca

Oh, such a good question! I think my most expensive beauty product is a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the colour pillowtalk. Such a beautiful colour and definitly worth the splurge. How do you always manage to tae such beautiful pictures? I can look at them for ages! Lots of love, Bianca x

  • Arch

My most expensive beauty purchase has been a powder brush from Houkodou; the combination of the length of the bristles and amount of grey squirrel hair used to make this hand-crafted Japanese makeup brush all add up to hefty price tag. It’s more of a collectible rather than a makeup tool for daily use, but I still treasure it either way.

  • Erin Rae Jumper

My most expensive beauty item? Oh dear, probably my Sisley-Paris lipstick in Rosewood. But I wear it almost everyday as it’s the perfect everyday color for me and my usual eye makeup. And it feels amazing too, totally worth the price.

  • stephanieamccoy

Hair dryer is the most expensive thing, but that didn’t feel like as much of a splurge as my Tom Ford cheek brush!

  • Samantha Gonzales

Tom Ford lipsticks are definitely up there along with Giorgio Armani Power Fabric! Accidentally bought the wrong shade so I had to get another one. Damn. Worth it though!

  • loriindc

what a fun and generous giveaway Sabrina! Chanel perfumes….I’m growing my collection lol

  • mjmoore

Probably the most I ever splurged was on the mePower hair reduction device. If I could do it over again, I’d just get a Tria.

  • Daisy797

The most I spent was the Simple Human sensor mirror. So worth it!

  • Fern Dedman

The most expensive beauty product i’ve purchased is most probably an eyeshadow palette (as they’re totally my beauty weakness) Probably the Marc Jacobs palettes – painfully pricey for what you get but oh so pretty!

  • I’m not really sure but it’s probably my Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette, I remember making sure I was going to wear it enough because I was afraid of just wasting money. Funny thing is that I actually started wearing it a lot and just as the design on the pan started to fade away I stopped using it because I wanted it to look pretty hahaha. It’s one of those things I like know that I have and use it very sporadically. It’s either that or my customized MAC palette, simply because their eyeshadows are twice the price in Mexico (so unfair!).

  • The most I ever splurged on was the Giorgio Armani Night Light Palette โ™ฅ

  • Jolene Johnson

Hmm. The most recent expensive splurge was my Foreo Luna! Next up on my wishlist is a Sappho foundation or Tom Ford lipstick!

  • natsumomo

The most expensive beauty item I’ve purchased is probably the T3 Whirl Trio. I bought it about two months ago, and haven’t even used it yet…

  • natalie

most expensive purchase was probably simplehuman vanity mirror. use it everyday though so it was worth it to me!

  • nic

Most expensive beauty items are my brushes as a whole. Had some since senior year of high school and I’ll be 34 this year.

  • Leann

My most expensive item was probably my Jo Malone Rare Tea perfume. An amazing scent though.

  • Angela

My most expensive beauty purchase is probably my large kiehls midnight recovery concentrate.

  • The most expensive beauty related item I purchased lately is the GHD Platinum hair straighter. I have very wavy hair and rely on straighters on the daily. GHD is definitely a staple. I replace mine every 3-4 years, so I know the brand is reliable. @luv_elle

  • Nadya Repin

i once bought a sisley foundation

  • Nel A

    La prairie foundation

  • Petra Kovarik

The most expensive stuff in my cosmetic corner – surely a Suqqu cheek brush, which however compensates me such a big investment every day with the perfect application of all my powder products ๐Ÿ™‚ And unfortunately I canยดt forget even the May Lindstrom the youth dew serum with which Iยดm not satisfied ๐Ÿ™ just an average product with a big price!

  • Kate

I splurged in a Tom Ford lipstick I had been eyeing for months. Funny thing is that when I finally ordered the shade, it looked awful! Thank goodness for the Nordstrom return policies. I have also purchased some Algenist skincare, though I don’t consider skin care of any kind a splurge!

  • Leah Davis

The most pricey item I have is a Clarisonic Mia & a Gelish manicure light. I’m eyeing the new Dyson hair dryer though… want to hear a few more good reviews before I go for that one

  • Jill Eileen

The most expensive beauty product I have is my Tria hair remover laser. Unfortunately I’m not disciplined enough to use it regularly and know if it works!!!

  • Shelly Xi

I splurged on the surratt cheek blush brush this past vib sephora sale, expensive but totally worth it!

  • Petunia

What is the most expensive item????? Hmmmmm. Mason Pearson brush probably.

  • Emily Bristol

Per ounce, my most expensive beauty purchase is my Tatcha Brightening Serum!

  • Nicole Godbey

Most expensive makeup has probably been anything Tom Ford. I have spent more on beauty tools like the T3 hairdryer, the simplehuman LED mirror, clarisonic, and the nuface mini – ALL of which I use every single day, so they have been a good value to me.

  • Christina

I absolutely love the TF duo!

  • Louise

Sometimes, I buy the La Prairie Caviar foundation and the price is ridiculous ! Here in Holland, is costs USD 227,00 ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

  • jeansco84

Most expensive to date would have to be the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. It’s pricey, but it’s so ergonomic, makes my hair even more shiny than the T3 and it’s so pretty!

  • N. Novona

I spend the most on skin care serums $$$

  • Amy

I think the sk-ii essence. And it is a splurge!!

  • murphmeister

what a great giveaway – my most expensive purchase would be for la mer face cream a long time ago but i feel i buy so many little things that they add up and i should just buy fewer most expensive items.

  • rebecca blackerby

The most expensive thing I’ve bought was the Byredo Bal D’Afrique 100ml! It’s such a beautiful and unique fragrance. Now I’m addicted and need more of his fragrances! ๐Ÿ’•

  • Beautyalamode

The most expensive beauty tool I purchased was a laser hair removal system. No regrets and totally worth it haha @tahrerk56

  • MalibuBarbie

The most expensive has been Dolce Gabbana Perfect Luminous Creamy Foundation with sunscreen. About ยฃ35 which was a lot for me to spend on a foundation since it was my first. Now I can’t even remember life before the discovery of foundation! ๐Ÿ˜œ

  • Most expensive beauty product was probably my Sedu flat iron… but that was so long ago. I have more recently splurged on Jean Paul Gualtier’s Classic and Murad’s Hydrodynamic Quenching Essence!

  • When my beloved father died I treated myself to a day at a spa. It included a facial, massage, mani pedi and the spa’s own line of beauty products. It was the most money I had ever spent on myself but worth every single penny.

  • Viktoria Larsson

Cutting and colouring my hair is the most expensive i do beautywise. For a makeup product my Marc Jacobs 5 color eyeshadow palette is the most expensive thing I own.

  • Tracy

The most expensive beauty I bought was a serum from La Mer, the rejuvenating serum.

  • Kate Rebmann

The most expensive beauty product would have to be skincare, the Sunday Reilly Good Genes Treatment. I love it

  • Jenny

My most expensive beauty item (aside from coloring/highlighting my hair) is probably skincare related; either an Odacite serum, the PTR laser-free regenerator gel-cream, or the Caudalie vinoperfect serum. Makeup wise…maybe the NARS Unfiltered I Cheek Palette (it’s so huge though so I feel like it was totally worth the price) which I LOVE.

  • Carol

I got a set of Le metier de beaute items – the metallic eye shadow set, the annual VIP program and a few lipsticks

  • olivia

My most expensive purchase was a selection of the YSL Touche Eclat series. They’re so dreamy…

  • Marina Sopta

Definitely the most expensive item I bought (as a birthday gift for.myself) was the Rouge Louboutin Silky Satin (dont know shade name, but it’s a true red). Love it, but I don’t use it everyday, just for special occasions to make me feel extra sassy haha

  • Fanny Tan

The most expensive beauty item so far has to be my hairdryer. I used to use the drugstore ones that cost maybe $25 so the T3 featherweight was a huge jump. I will say that my hair has never looked more polished and is no longer frizzy from blow drying.
Ps- as cool as the Dyson hairdryer is, I am not shelling out $400. The T3 was enough of a splurge and does very well.

  • Jiyong Lee

The most I’ve spent on is the Cle De Peau highlighter. It IS very pretty, but I don’t think it is worth the $$$! I prefer the Laura Mercier one!

  • hmm, i think my most expensive splurge was a ~$200 sephora order during the VIB sale! i normally buy one or two bits at a time but i went for it to save on that 15%. i bought GA luminous silk, 2 YSL lipsticks, and a few laneige skincare bits!

  • GJordan

A set of Tarte brushes that was worth every penny

  • Christine

My Clarisonic Mia a few years ago. Still works!

  • Lauren Costello

Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum ๐Ÿ™‚ fades my pregnancy spots

  • I totally splurged on my Dyson Supersonic hair dryer but I feel like it’s worth it already since it cuts down on my drying time and my husband also uses it. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Carly

I splurged on a Tom Ford highlighter duo. I should pull it out more!

  • Sarah Lewis

I recently treated myself to a bottle of Black Opium

  • Laura Schmaltz

Thanks for the giveaway – I love Tom Ford!

  • Elizabeth Siegel

The most I’ve spent is on skincare. Probably a tie between May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon and Omorovicza skincare. I love their cleansers, specifically. I have them all, the moor mud cleansing balm is especially nice.

  • A while ago someone purchased a Tom Ford lipstick for me in Forbidden Pink. I was so embarrassed to discover that this is a near perfect dupe, with a really different formula, to Nars Niagara lipstick, which I already owned!!!

  • Jen Lee

loving the Tom Ford giveaway! The most expensive beauty item I splurged on was 2 Tom Ford eye palettes in Honeymoon and Disco Dust. I had to buy both when they came out!

Crรจme de la Mer Moisturising Cream which was over ยฃ100.

  • Allie

My hair appointments can run $200ish including tip. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  • Angela Tsai

Most expensive beauty purchase was the Drunk Elephant line! Thanks for all your great content!

  • Stephanie

My Clarisonic Mia 2 is the most expensive item I’ve bought, but well worth it since it’s lasted me several years now

  • Cadie Campbell

One of the most expensive items I’ve splurged on is probably the dior 5 couleurs eyeshadow from the holiday splendor collection. However the most expensive beauty item I own is my baby buttercup blowdryer but it was a gift (that I asked for and probably would have bought if I didn’t receive it).

  • S. Park

I think the most expensive item I’ve splurged on is a skincare item. I think it was Lancome’s Visionnaire serum, it cost around $100 or a little less.

  • Cosmetic _connoisseur717

The beauty item that was my biggest splurge was La Mer’s The Concentrate at well over $450.00. (yikes)

  • Laura Covarrubias

  • Claudia Hall

My most expensive beauty item I’ve bought is probably my Keratin Complex hair straighteners, but in terms of actual products it would probably be my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, Becca x Chrissy Teigen Palette or Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair eye serum! ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

  • pinksuzanne

The most expensive item I have ever bought is the Tria Age Defying Laser from Sephora.

  • Anne Capitant

My biggest splurge is definitely my first (so far only) Tom Ford fragrance, Neroli Portofino Acqua. Though if you let me run wild on the Charlotte Tilbury site I’m sure I could do even more damage XD.

  • anne

A Tom Ford lipstick in the colour Forbidden Pink

  • redbaronsg

  • M Noona Nina

I have to say it’s my Guerlain Meteorites collection/addiction. I have both Clair and Medium from the permanent line in ummm…both pearls AND pressed powder compacts. I have also have the Mythic Voyager compact (which is the most insanely priced one). The second most insanely priced is my Perles des Neiges (since I ended up buying it aftermarket when it was all sold out). Rounding out my limited editions are the Pucci Pearls d’Azur, the Perles d’Etoiles, the Perles d’Legende, and the Happy Glow Pearls. * sigh * Fly money, fly….

  • Hayley Choe

Most expensive: probably one of my perfumes. The Chanel Les Exclusifs set was $250+tax, and I have a couple TF Private Collection as well as a few perfume extraits..

  • Jeanie M.

This year my my most expensive beauty item would have to be my bars blush palette. Usually it is perfume.

  • I think the most expensive beauty item I’ve bought is the Sunday Riley Luna Oil – especially because it’s extra expensive here in New Zealand! It’s so worth it though…

    Morgan | Hyacinth Girl

  • Cathy

I’d say Sunday Riley Good Genes was one of my biggest skincare splurges. My make up splurge was a Ellis Faas Skin Veil foundation. My latest splurge was Drunk Elephant C-Firma day serum, TLC Framboos and Lala Retro. These are some of many many splurges, I also love Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury and NARS. Make up obsessed!

  • Julia

I bought the most expensive Clarisinuc brush they were selling at the time. And now years later the brush won’t hold a charge. That was awhile ago though. I guess the most expensive recent thing I’ve bought is Oribe hair products. • Sabine Ganga

Creed parfum virgin ijsland water en pat mcgarth highlighter en glitterlips.

  • I’m sure it isn’t the most expensive thing I’ve bought but the Cle de Peau concealer remains my most cringe worthy splurge. It’s a concealer, why is it so expensive? Why is it so amazing that I can justify spending that much on it? No clue.

  • Prada infussion d’homme after shave creme, it smells so so good that I bought it for my husband but sometimes I borrow it!

Honestly, I have not really splurged on anything that is worth mentioning since I only recently started putting on makeup.. Well “real” makeup (not just eyeliner and lipstick that I had been doing for years, lol), but if and when I do spend a huge amount I think it would be on a perfume or a foundation (havent found one that im satisfied with yet) or some sort of hair treatment

  • Trudi

Most expensive item I purchased; $305.00 which is Tom Ford’s newest fragrance SOLE DI POSITANO 3.4 ounces without testing first. I purchased it because of Beauty Look Book’s blog post. I live in NC and the humidity is very high like in Florida where Sabrina lives now. I can smell it when I am walking back into my home from walking the dogs. Even the dogs like it, as they always hang onto to me when I use it, which is all day, everyday.

  • Ning Shahirah Alfrink

I just bought the Sisley Black Rose face oil. Face oils are my beauty indulgence

Definitely, I adore make-up item and feel happy to spurge my vanity to fulfill my desire. I think, tom ford soleil pallette in sun exposure has been my top preference to indulge myself. I live the color payoff and the quality of the product and it give me sultry sexy look that I love! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • OonaBean

Have definitely purchased plenty of Tom Ford over the past few years. It’s so expensive but I just love his stuff! My biggest splurge was the 8.4 oz decanter of Soleil Blanc. It’s my absolute favorite scent!

  • Miriam

My first most expensive beauty item was the Suqqu Cheek Brush, and a tom ford palette.

  • Paula Verdegaal

I splurged on the may lindstrom youth dew. I only regret it because now nothing comes close and I’m considering purchasing again!

  • Fat White Cat

Hmm, my biggest splurge is usually on skincare, but I did jump at the chance to get Tatcha’s Kyoto Red lipstick when it came out a few years ago. So much more than I pay for lipstick, but so beautiful!

  • caro7a

My most expensive beauty product is the zoeva nude spectrum palette. But i love it so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • It must be my Talika duo light plus. So worth it though. I’m way more likely to splurge on skin care than makeup.

  • julia

For me, the most expensive beauty item I’ve splurged on recently was Jo Malone’s Blue Agave and Cacao perfume from Ebay. I’m crushed that they stopped selling it (why? so many people are upset now that they can’t get it!) and I bit the bullet and bought a bottle for more than I’ve ever spent on fragrance. I’m so happy I have it now though and I treasure every drop.

  • Sunnykm

Natura Bisse Diamond eye cream, so fabulous I have repurchased three times!

  • Anna

Most expensive beauty item I’ve ever splurged on was a Mac foundation brush (159). I know that’s not actually that fancy, but as I’m partway through my second university degree, I can’t go too crazy! The brush was a great investment, though, so much better than my previous drugstore brushes!

  • spork

Most expensive beauty item I’ve purchased is probably my Jo Malone perfume! I got the big bottle of Peony blush & suede, but I love the scent so much it was worth the money!

  • The most expensive item I splurged on was a big bottle of the Dior Jadore perfume. I love the scent so much I couldn’t help myself and it’s one of my favorites to this day. I still have a little over 1/2 bottle left.

  • so_schilly

My most expensive purchases have definitely been brushes- Suqqu and Tom Ford. Also Tom Ford fragrances, the full sized bottles of Black Orchid and Orchid Soleil. Priciest purchase that was specifically makeup is probably the By Terry Magnet Eyes palette…no regrets on any of them ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Brianna Jean Allum

My most extravagant products were actually gifts! I got a bottle of Burberry Body the year it came out for my birthday- my first “grown up” perfume. Then last year my lovely mother bought me a bottle of Chanel’s No. 5 L’Eau for my twentieth birthday! I cried, I was so excited. But an actual purchase I’ve made for myself would be my Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder. By your recommendation, I bought it and the One-Step Camellia Oil and my skin has been changed since! Not as oily, smoother- just overall better. I ran out around Christmas and bought a duo of the travel sizes, unfortunately I’ve finished that now too. Off to Sephora I go!

  • Justine R

The most expensive purchase have definitely been the Tom Ford Soleil palettes individually… but they are definitely worth it!

  • emeris

The most expensive makeup product I have purchased recently is the Tom Ford Nude Dip eyeshadow palette. I went back and forth on this one for a while and wished I had done it sooner. Such beautiful shadows and so easy to work with. For skincare, I think it would be the Dior Capture Totale Serum. It was the larger size so naturally it would be pricier. Works so well with my skin. Hope you have a wonderful weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Rosie Rayos

I have a bit of an expensive perfume habit so I’m a little embarrassed to admit that my craziest splurge was on a bottle of Shalini.

  • The Suqqu cheek brush for sure – I think it’s the only single item I have that I paid north of $100 for. Totally worth it for me, though I don’t think it’s worth it for everyone.

  • Bojana

sorry but I do not know what is instagram handle?

  • Lisa C

Most expensive for me was the La Mer sleeping mask which unfortunately did not really do anything wondrous for me.

  • Heidi Burns

I would have to say the Christian Diorissimo I buy exclusively as my mom taught me and also a few La Mer products when I can afford them.

  • Anna Fiore

Probably a Skinceuticals serum. I loved it. It left my skin smooth, plump, and blemish free. I read online that the Clinique version was equivalent for much cheaper, but I miss my old serum ๐Ÿ™ The Clinique version leaves my skin smooth initially, but I think it clogs my pores.

  • Paola Aravena

I have many as I have become more of a makeup collector! Other then spending a lot of my money on my lil angel… the La Praire $219 foundation!! It is one the best but my favorite is La Mer and Chanticaille future skin although cheaper is my holy grail. Sorry for getting of the subject … haha๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

  • Anne D

I won’t approach the perfume issue since I do have a bit of a problem there, but my most expensive beauty product would be the new LaMer foundation in Linen. I tried to tell myself it was not worth it, but it really is. My next purchase will be the powder.

  • Hannah Burke

The most expensive makeup item i have bought is the natasha denona star palette, i love it! I really want to try the lamer foundation

  • Sara C.

My most expensive beauty product is actually Tom Ford. The cheek duo is beautiful though and completely worth it.

  • Gillian Wei

A perfume I bought from Hermes! Thank you so much for doing this giveaway!

  • Aviva A

Probably a spa facial which was 200+ or le labo perfume! Great giveaway!

  • Bubblewrapper

I have spent more on skin care, but the most frivolous I have been (in a good way), is purchasing Tom Ford lip shine in Lust. It’s such a lovely pink roses, worth every penny.

  • Katrina Smith

Le Volume de Chanel mascara. So expensive in Australia but I did love the volumising and fluttery effect on my lashes….an expensive treat but I enjoyed every use.

  • Phitnada T.

I splurge on skincare in this case is Sulwhasoo firstcare activating serum
but I really love it!! My face doesn’t feel sticky and I love the light scent of ginseng too

  • Shelley Polarbelle

the most expensive splurge has been La Mer Concentrate, the big size. so expensive but so good

  • Robin

The most I’ve splurged was on the Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer. Hands down the best concealer I’ve tried and will probably always repurchase.

  • Anna Furer

The most expensive item is Armani Night Light palette and I don’t regret it! It’s a great beautiful product!

  • chocolate_jabberwocky

I consider the most expensive items in my collection to be my two Serge Lutens lipsticks. While I have things which cost more (e.g. palettes), they stick out as an pricey indulgence.

  • rachlovespenguins

The biggest purchases on my vanity are probably a Guerlain eye palette (coup de foudre, I think) Tom Ford lipstick in Casablanca, and Tauer’s l’air du desert marocain perfume. I probably could have avoided the eyeshadow as I don’t actually wear much eye makeup, but it’s pretty and I do pull it out from time to time so it’s not a total regret. It has caused me to think twice (or more) now before buying other eye products though.

  • mare n.

Most expensive purchase I guess would be the guerlain terracota, which I love.. and hate.. cause i buy it as soon as I finisf it. Oh it’s so good and versatile. Just this and mascara makes the perfect summer night out look! All the love, from Greece

  • My most expensive beauty item is MAC Eye Shadow x 15 in Cool Neutral. No regrets!

  • ะšัะตะฝะธั ะŸะธะปะตะฒะธะฝะฐ

    Guerlain Meteorites Flocons Enchantes

  • Susan Teeuwsen

can you do a comparison between Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and Tom Ford lipsticks please?

  • My most expensive beauty product is Kevin Aucoin foundation. But unfortunately I choose wrong shade ๐Ÿ˜“

  • Gail Annacarto

It has to be a Chanel cream or serum which I don’t remember

  • Emma Murphy

most expensive thing I’ve splurged on would have to be either the glamglow supermud mask (my absolute fave, will always always repurchase!) or the Chanel le tan de Chanel bronzer

  • Ewa

My biggest beauty splurge was a set of Tom Ford brushes.

  • Drifter

Diptyque Do Son EDT 100ml and Tubereuse candle! Cost a bomb but I love the smell (also enabled by your many beautiful Diptyque posts!)

  • Tom Ford ALWAYS has the most amazing colors!

  • Daria Kravets

The most expensive was creme La mer and by terry foundation cover-expert.

  • kellie hazlett

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Vitae Forte perfume and the Tom Ford eye palettes.

  • Ali Lasley

The most expensive beauty items I’ve splurged on would probably be facials, but the most expensive product I’ve splurged on is probably the Dior Airflash foundation. It’s my absolute favorite foundation, especially for special events!

  • Janina Klenke

so many great luxury beauty products โค
    http://www.janinaloves.com

  • Janny

For me it was the philips visapure.

  • Ilina Sandler

I tend to only splurge on skincare. Right now I’m using the La Mer face and eye creams. Love them!

  • Sarah

My biggest splurge was the large sized bottle of Bond No. 9 Chinatown

  • Els Wijnants

Most expensive should be my nail polish collection! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

  • Anastasiya

    Byredo bal d’afrique ๐Ÿ™‚

  • The Dior One Essential Serum – $200 for that one bottle of goodness (which I can’t find anymore in my beauty stash!)

  • Marina

Love your blog Sabrina! Thank you for your posts, very informative and up to the point with the beautiful pictures ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Spa Mm

    Alpha-H Liquid Gold!

  • Karla R.

I have spent on a moisturizer from Darphin products.

  • xchibiox .

I remember my first splurge which is probably the most expensive. It was for skincare from Shiseido. I no longer use Shiseido, but I was happy with it. The line is now called the Essentials. I don’t remember it being called that when I bought it back in college. I bought the purifying mask, moisturizing massage mask (maybe discontinued), cleansing massage brush, gentle foaming face wash, eye cream, day and night lotion, and the toner. Seems like the line I used no longer really exists.

  • disqus_mm8LFWILUK

I so want to win this!!!

  • Jocelyn Josue

The most expensive product I bought recently is a cleanser from May Lindstrom – The Honey Mud ($120Cdn) which is a ridiculous price to pay for a cleanser. I will enjoy using it while it lasts, but will probably not be repurchasing.

  • Vivian Lee

The most expensive product I bought is probably an eye cream from Revive – though I’m not sure it helped with any of my fine lines…seems like cheaper options worked better!

  • Jennifer Jones

The most expensive things I’ve ever bought, beauty wise, is the Tom Ford Solar Exposure palette. It’s gorge.

  • Julie Lee

The most expensive thing I’ve ever bought beauty-wise is probably the Cle de Peau cream foundation. I was devastated when they reformulated it and highly skeptical of the new version (the radiant cream foundation). I still miss the old version, but the new one is excellent, and I’ll repurchase it again.

  • Laurie M.

I keep trying to find a cheaper alternative to the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum, but I come back to it every time! I just can’t find a vitamin C serum I like anywhere near as much.

  • Natalie

The most expensive thing(s) I’ve ever purchased, in the name of all things beauty, would be Fresh’s Creme Ancienne (skincare; broke me out, also it just hovered on top of my skin), Chanel’s Les Exclusifs de Chanel’s Coromandel (fragrance; so worth it), Tom Ford’s Soleil Contouring Compact (cosmetics; gorgeous but doesn’t get daily use). I absolutely adore your blog and your whole aesthetic.

  • Judy Lee

Most expensive treatent was IPL. 700 for 2 treatments for sun spots and freckles. While it helped some I still need more, so it will maybe cost me another 700 to 800 to get rid of everything.

  • My Drunk Elephant C-Frima Day Serum is the most expensive beauty items I’ve gotten. It’s so expensive in Australia!

    Billie | http://www.othersummers.com/

  • Taylor

The most expensive thing I got was the Guerlain Meteorites My Palette <3

  • Colleen P.

My most expensive purchase was my Clarisonic. Sadly, I don’t use it as much as I had hoped I would.

  • Amalia

My most expensive purchase was the Guerlain Mรฉtรฉorites Wulong Pressed Powder from the Liu Collection.

  • Rosalie All Things Beauty

My most expensive purchase was an YSL eyeshadow pallete

  • Kate

My most expensive beauty product purchase …hmmm… there’s been a few! It would probably be the full size Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. Beauty is an investment for sure, but a fun one ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Abbie Stephen

Must be all my Chanel nail varnishes, I have more than 10. And then maybe my Becca x Chrissy Teigan palette maybe?

  • Annechien De Herdt

Definitely May Lindstorm – Blue Cocoon. I only use it when I have a lounge/makeup free day or at night but it is amazing and so nourishing for the skin! And from time to time I do cave in at the airport and buy myself a Tom Ford lipstick for my collection ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Hanna H

The most expensive beauty item i’ve splurged on…that would be several products from Chanel’s Le Lift line. But I don’t know if that counts, since I bought those products as a gift for my mother and not myself.

  • Tabitha

    Probably a foundation.

  • degreesofshining

My most expensive purchase…hmmmm? I don’t think I have made a break the bank purchase on makeup…but my most loved high end splurges have been on makeup brushes! I purchased the Wayne Goss Eye set and several brushes the Chikuhodo Takumi Series. Definitely an investment in high quality tools! Not a penny spent of regret! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Vidya Amin

Probably my Chanel hydra serum.. it’s a splurge but worth it in the dry months!

  • Kristina

My most expensive beauty purchase would be the Neulash Lash Serum. Makes my short, sparse lashes grow full, long, and lush! Definitely worth the price over lash extensions.

  • Fivelsgirl

I believe my most expensive was a bottle of Bond No.9 fragrance, I Love NY.

  • Sondra

My biggest beauty splurge was doing kybella last year. (the injections for fat under your chin) Best $$ I’ve spent so far. =D

  • Boriana Primova

Amazing giveaway! I have purchased Tom Ford’s makeup, and a few fragrances (I treasure the discontinued Urban Musk, as well as Neroli Portofino, Santal Blush and Noir de Noir). My most expensive, though, would be the Hermessences – Vetiver Tonka, Iris Ukiyoe, Vanille Galante. Skincare would be Good Genes that I repurchase regularly, and SK II.

  • hh

the most expensive thing I’ve splurged on was probably the NARS Guy Bourdin blush palette–four great colors, although with a few Surratt blushes in my life now that I wear all the time, I’m considering getting rid of the palette!

  • Charli Griffith

So fun! Thank you for this fabulous giveaway!
I think the most expensive thing I’ve purchased, by weight, is a Tom Ford lipstick… or my Chanel eye cream ๐Ÿ˜‚ I don’t know, I have one of Tom Ford cream powder duo eyeshadows and those are crazy expensive.

  • zz

Most expensive item I’ve splurged on was a Bobbi Brown foundation stick. At the time I was just in my first year of college so it felt super bougie, it turned out that it wasn’t even the right shade :'( but at that point it was too late to return. I haven’t been able to get myself to throw it away it, even though it’s been 3 years since that purchase..

  • Emma Clark

The most expensive items i’ve splurged on was a number of Bobbi Brown makeup brushes. I’m only a student so it meant a huge deal to purchase them all. Luckily they’ve lasted me throughout the entire time i’ve been at university so lucky me!

  • Effie Wong

Thanks for the giveaway! The most expensive items for me is the Sunday Riley Good Genes, I”m in second bottle and love it!

  • Denise Danker

  • Shazia

My biggest beauty splurge was the Christian Louboutin velvet matte lip colour “Just nothing”, and Tom Ford brushes!! the brushes are definitley worth it!!!

  • Jordan Yarborough

Probably the Natasha Denona Star Eyeshadow Palette! Super expensive but the color payoff is incredible, so worth it in my opinion ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Hong Le

Chikuhodo Makeup brushes! Paid over $200 for a brush set. they were soft and luxurious. But, not sure the were worth the price as some lower priced brushes gets the job done. Definitely a guilty splurge.

  • sara rai

Thank you so much. I usually restock on the Shiseido blotting paper even though it costs around 20 something.
Sorry I have subscribed to your blog newsletter, but when I clicked ok b4 the whole email address showed up on the entry. legendlives12@hotmail.com

  • Alina Katharina

The most expensive beauty product I’ve ever bought was the Urban Decay Naked foundation if I remember correctly ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Laura Barnett

The most expensive beauty product I’ve ever bought is the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation!

  • Lydia

The most expensive would be the flower petal blush from Les Merveilleuses Laduree. I think it was close to 110$ with the case. So elegant though.

    • Lydia

I just finished reading all responses before me. Interesting. Tom Ford and La Mer are the most mentioned, and others are perfumes. I have yet to try a Tom Ford product, so that is on my list, come rain or shine, ha!

  • Amanda Ng

The most expensive thing was the SKII Facial Treatment Essence (from Costco when it was cheaper and a better deal!!) – still trying to figure out if it was worth it (:

  • Christina Gray

La Prairie foundation was a big splurge—and it was the wrong shade. Total regret.

  • Lauren

The Tom Ford Pink Glow Eye & Cheek Compact. I almost didn’t buy it because of the price, but I am glad that I did. It’s just gorgeous. Thank you for this giveaway opportunity!

  • Karolina Zalisz

The most expensive beauty product I’ve splurged on is Dior dream skin and I love it. And the device is foreo Luna mini and perfume byredo mojave ghost.

  • Hannah M

I thought that skincare would be my biggest splurge but recently its been perfume! Loving byredo right now – bal d’afrique is my go to for summer!!

  • happydayfortennis

For makeup, it was definitely the 2015 Givenchy Prisme Libre Couture Edition with the photorealistic peonies. It was exclusive to Australia and Japan, so I got it from eBay for $70.

  • Glenda

The most expensive makeup item I ever purchased was one of those Louboutin lipsticks. I kinda regret it. I think Tom Ford’s prices are ridiculous too, especially the original lipsticks, that have a ridiculously short shelf life.

  • MH

The most expensive makeup Item I’ve ever purchased was the Serge Lutens powder foundation. Don’t judge me haha.

  • Abigail Woo

Usually for me the most expensive as well as most often purchases are the SKII Facial Essence treatment (I usually go through 2-3 a year). But besides that I think it will have to be byredo perfume. I have them in bal d’afriqiue and black saffron, but would like to purchase one more I think.

  • Cindy Aiton

I splurged on laser hair removal. Hands down one of the best beauty decisions I have ever made.

  • fujifan23

I splurged on the Tom Ford traceless perfecting foundation (and the stick) and now they’re my HG’s so I don’t regret it one bit! I love foundations, so I wish I could say my biggest splurge was the La Prairie foundation! Would love it if you could do a review on it sometime Sabrina!

LOVE by kilian’s fragrance “love don’t be shy”
and will never stop splurging on it!

  • TF

My biggest splurge has been Tom Ford, specifically the Pink Glow Eye & Cheek Palette.

  • It’s actually a very recent purchase, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino EDP. The scent is just perfect for summer, I love the freshness.

  • Suzy D.

Seems like all my biggest splurges are skincare…most recently, a giant bottle of P50 1970 – will use that stuff forever ๐Ÿ™‚ My makeup purchases wouldn’t be splurges for most, but I recently bought – and am 100% in love with – the Marc Jacobs Coconut Bronzer.

  • christal

I typically splurge on skincare more than anything else. I recently picked up Tata Harper’s brightening essence. So far I’m loving it but will have to test drive for a bit longer to see results.

  • Rose

The most expensive beauty purchase for me is the YSL cushion foundation. It gives a nice a natural glow to my skin, it’s truly worth it! Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Christy Nelms Caldwell

My splurging is on skincare. I have some great products from Dr. Babor that I love. I love all things make up and skincare.

  • C. Emily

Thanks for doing this Sabrina! My biggest splurge was a perfume set by Hermes called Un Jardin Sur Le Toit. For me it was crazy expensivene but every time I sprayed it on I couldn’t help but fall in love … even if my wallet didn’t! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Jess

My most expensive beauty products tend to be skincare tools – I most recently purchased the Tria Anti-aging Laser. It hurts so I hope the results are worth it.

  • this would be pale in comparison to others but my most splurged item was laneige bb cushion i bought a year ago. i bit the bullet because i found the color matched me a lot (#31) and it was my holy grail. i love it so so much T^T

  • ReturnedtoSender

My overall most expensive items have probably been from drunk elephant. And the full size foreo. I like to buy things on sale or get some sort of deal, so paying full price for the Givenchy le rouge in heroic pink felt like a splurge (even if I used a gift card for some of it).

  • Cynthia Crocker
