A quick break from beauty reviews to bring you a sneak peek at my frequently changing desktops at home. I tend to rearrange things quite often at our home. I have my favorite things scattered around: fresh cut flowers, pretty stationary, candles, fashion magazines for inspiration and various desk accessories. My home workspace is quite different from my office work space at my job. If I could work from home part of the week it would be a dream come true.
Right now I’m loving Diptyque Rosa Mundi and Roses candles (review soon), my Connor Ballloon Desk Calendar (on sale now at Barneys) and Felix Doolittle stationary. Here are a few snapshots from this past week.

Update for those who asked, my work desks are from the Bedford Collection in Espresso Stain from Pottery Barn. I have the small desk and a corner desk set next to each other. Our console table in our living room is the Hemnes Sofa Table from Ikea.

What’s on your desktop right now (home or office)?

    • Having a dedicated work space at home really does make a difference, although blogging from the sofa while watching Netflix sounds like a perfect way to multi-task. I do this occasionally but always get distracted with what's playing on the TV lol.

Gorgeous! Love the flowers. What fashion/beauty website are you perusing on your laptop in the 4th pic?

    • It's http://www.vogue.com/ on my screen πŸ™‚ The section I was looking at is at the bottom of their homepage listed under Most Popular.

  • What a gorgeous desktop! My office desk is a total mess right now but at home I use my desk as a vanity. I always have my container store acrylic makeup organizer on my desk to display my favorite products and I've been using my Anthropologie monogrammed mug to hold my brushes. Typically you can find a magazine or two on my desk as well.

  • Beautiful blog post! You know, these pictures make me feel kind of embarrassed about my workspace, which currently looks as though a tornado has hit it, so I'm definitely going to have to clean and prettify it up this weekend! Lol. Chic and Alluring Blog

Hi Sabrina, your home looks beautiful πŸ˜‰ My desk is also fairly nice. I'm not good at rearranging though and stick to the same stuff for a long time. I have a plain white Ikea desk, but balance out the Ikea-factor with nice things. I have an oak tray from Iittala with a beautiful mini "vitriini" glass box (also Iittala), a tower block of note paper in rose gold and rose gold scissors from Hay. Inspired by you (and bought after I read about them on your blog) I also have two Chanel polishes (Elixir and Rouge Rubis) and a Diptyque mini size candle from the holiday 5 piece set (also bought (in Paris ;-)) after I read about it here). And then I have a cream colored Bestlite lamp. BTW – last weekend I was in London and am pretty sure your blog was mentioned in the UK Instyle February issue. I found your blog some months ago and now always look forward to reading it. I have bought several things that you have recommended. It's a pleasure to read your well-written and knowledgeable posts. Best wishes from Europe πŸ˜‰
