I picked up two of the Chanel Rouge Coco Shines in Intime #93 and Confident #94 ($35 each) from the Collection États Poétiques. Both are subdued feminine colors that give a very conservative natural polished look. Intime #93 is a soft cool-toned pink. Confident #94 is a darker mauve pink. Both are on the cool-tone side but still have enough warmth for my olive skin tone that they don’t wash me out. I found the pigment of both to be quite good with more color than most Rouge Coco Shines that I have. There is a variance in pigment depending how you apply these. Straight from the tube will give a more sheer shine. If you apply with a brush you will get more color. Both shades have a slightly glossy finish. Lasting power is average, short-to-medium as is the case with most glossy sheer lipsticks.

Overall pleased with the wearability of these two Rouge Coco Shines. They are easy swipe and go lipsticks that require no additional work to make them work (if that makes sense). I swatched the other shades on my hand at the counter but at $35 each I found them a bit pricey. I limited myself to two since I had my eye on the blush and glossimers.

Hey Sabrina! It becoming a problem of sorts to look up reviews on your blog..I end up wanting everything! 😛 Intime is such a pretty My-Lips-But-Better on you, so is Confident although a tad darker.. They actually seem a lot more pigmented that I initially thought they were!

I bought Intime and love it. It's one of the few pale RCS that shows up really well on my pigmented lips. I also love Viva, which I think looks beautiful against both cool and warm skintones. After seeing your review I may have to pick up Confident now as well. I was not a huge fan of Aura as it looked patchy on my lips.
Hi Sabrina! I purchased Confident and Viva and am really enjoying both colors! Viva's lasting power is rather impressive for a Rouge Coco Shine. Intime looks really pretty on you and now I'm wondering if I should have purchased that as well :).

I've been looking forward to this post! CHANEL Rouge Coco in Intime was my most- anticipated item from the collection — and it doesn't disappoint! I'm glad to see that it's fairly neutral and summer friendly here. It's hard to find good pinks in that genre 🙂
I like them! Especially Confident! Like you said: the pigment looks really nice, more than the average RCS. May I ask which lip brush you use? I'm on the lookout for a new one! ^^

Thank you Sabrina for the tip on applying them with a brush! I bought Intime too. I liked all the colors, but found I really didn't have anything like Intime in my collection, so I went with it. It'll look great with a really smokey plummy eye look. I plan on trying Confident again and wearing it around to see how I like it. Gives me an excuse to return to the Chanel counter and play!
