Sephora Sale Haul Picks Holiday 2018 | The Beauty Look Book

As promised I have my Sephora Beauty Insider Event haul and a giveaway! I shopped both online and in store during the days for Rouge savings. If you’re a VIB Member the good news is that this weekend is your weekend to shop the event! You can save 20% off your purchases in store and online from 11/9-11/12 with code VIBBONUS at checkout.

In case you missed my roundup recommendations, you can find my top makeup picks and top skin/hair and body picks detailed with links to previous reviews and swatches where applicable. I had so much on my wishlist that I wanted to stock up on but tried to limit myself to a few newer things that I have been wanting to try. I highly recommend browsing online first even if you’re heading to the store. Some things are online only and there are some better value sets online as well. I haven’t had a chance to try everything but I do have some first impressions on things I have tried.

Makeup Picks

Three of these things I picked up before the sale. I hauled some Too Faced items because I caved to the hype. I asked many of you on Instagram if you thought these lived up to all the raves and it was a 50/50 split. What I bought:

  • Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Spray (mini) – I haven’t had a chance to test this on the face, according to feedback from you it’s a hydrating spray but not the best as a makeup setting spray
  • Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer – I tried this a couple times and can’t really tell if it makes a difference, it has a pleasant coconut-like scent to it and does have a hydrating feel, it is silicone-free so I’m trying to test it with silicone-free foundations
  • Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara had really mixed reviews, based on a poll I did on Instagram, a handful told me it was your holy grail, but most did not like it. I tried the Waterproof version and it clumped like crazy I’ve decided to try the original.
  • Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin Full Coverage Foundation looked nice when I swatched it in store, I haven’t had a chance to give it a proper test yet, but I did love their Ultra HD line, so I have high hopes. I bought shade Y375.
  • Marc Jacobs Shine a Light Gloss and See-Quins Shadows for holiday have already been reviewed and swatched here.
  • Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Diamond Milk is such a pretty white pearl, I bought and tried the original Fenty Glow but couldn’t stand the scent. I decided to try it again in the newer white color (it smells the same) and love the way it looks, undecided about the scent.
  • Dior Addict Lip Glow in Rose Gold is a Sephora exclusive. I knew I had to have it. I’ve tried it and think it’s pretty. It’s one of the more sparkly ones. It didn’t really shift in color after applying it like the other shades do. Just a lot of sparkle but finish is smooth (no gritty finish from the shimmer).

Sephora Haul Too Faced, MUFE, Dior, Marc Jacobs and Fenty

Skincare Picks Part 1

  • REN CARE Gift Set has some calming product I’ve been wanting to try including the Evercalm Day Cream, Rescue Mask and Firming Beauty Shot. As we go into the colder dry season my skin is prone to irritation. I have high hopes as the day cream has been highly recommended by so many.
  • Shiseido Facial Cotton was a restock as the Sephora Collection Cotton Pads were out of stock online when I ordered (they’ve since restocked).
  • Fresh Rose Toner Mini was something I picked up at checkout. I’m always a sucker for minis and since I love the Rose Floral Toner Spray version decided to try this one.

Skincare haul REN, Fresh Rose Toner mini, Shiseido Cotton

Drunk Elephant Mega Haul

I hauled quite a bit of Drunk Elephant. I’ve loved their Baby Facial and Protini Polypeptide Cream. I even have Andrew using these! He’s obsessed and told me to restock on those. There are a lot of great sets with minis to try, some are online only. So many of you have asked for more Drunk Elephant reviews so I’m going to put what I purchased to the test and let you know.

  • Inspector Drunk Night Kit (top left) has five items for night skincare:
    • full-size TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
    • mini Beste No 9 Jelly Cleanser
    • mini B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
    • mini Lala Retro Whipped Cream
    • mini C-Tango multivitamin eye cream
  • Agent Ellie Day Kit (bottom) comes with five items:
    • full-size C-Firma Day Serum
    • mini Shaba Complex Eye Serum
    • mini Umbra Tint Physical Daily Defense SPF 30
    • mini B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
    • mini Protini Polypeptide Cream
  • TLC Sukari Baby Facial (middle) is the full-size individual version, but it also now comes in a mini size for $28 (versus the $80)
  • The Big Reveal Kit (right side hexagon box) comes with:
    • full-size TLC Baby Facial and Lippe Balm
    • mini Beste No 9 Jelly Cleanser
    • mini B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
    • mini Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil

A few thoughts on what I’ve tested and what to buy. If you’re interested at all in the Baby Facial, I’d recommend just getting The Big Reveal Kit (online only). The Lippe Balm is a lot nicer than I anticipated! I’m wearing it right now as I type up this post. It’s hydrating, doesn’t really have a scent, feels nice 🙂 My skin loves the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum. I’m currently recovering from a skin flare up (due to 1 of 3 possible things I’m almost certain I’ve narrowed it down, but need to do some more testing on my face to be sure). The serum instantly relieved redness and soothed my skin.

I’ve tried the cleanser and think it’s nice but need to do more testing. Andrew is not a fan of the tinted sunscreen, but since he doesn’t really seem to be a fan of physical sunscreens it did not surprise me. We have a lot of testing to do, will keep you posted!

Drunk Elephant Haul Picks Holiday sets 2018

Hair Care Picks

Hair care picks include a few more Aquis Waffle Luxe Towels for workouts and so I have extra ones for my hair. I’ve been in search of a hair spray that is just a hair spray. These days there are so many added things in sprays like texture, volume, shine, etc. I think that’s great, but sometimes I just want something simple. The girls in the Sephora store recommended Living Proof so I picked up the Flex Spray in the mini size. A large number of you confirmed on Instagram stories that this is your favorite so I have high hopes!

For tools I ordered the T3 Whirl Trio before the sale but wanted to give it a mention. It’s always nice to be able to save on more expensive things like curling wands. I have dryers and straighteners I love but didn’t have a curling iron. This one has three interchangeable wands without the clips. I’ve played with it for a few weeks now and really love it. It heats up quickly and also comes with a glove to protect your hand so you don’t burn your fingers.

I also ordered a mini packet of the Christophe Robin Shade Variation Care Nutritive Mask with Temporary Coloring in Warm Chestnut. I tried it last night and left it on for only 5 minutes. I’m almost at the 3 week mark post highlights and color is starting to fade. Since my hair was lifted it’s now getting a little lighter. The mask darkened my highlights in a subtle but noticeable way from honey to a slightly chestnut red brown. I think I could have left it on a little longer for a deeper effect but so far I like it! Hair is softer since it is a mask. I used up 1/2 the mini packet since I have a lot of hair and it is long. It’s supposed to last 3-5 washes. I’ll keep you updated on this. I really love all the things I’ve tried from Christophe Robin.

For masks I restocked on the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Hair Mask. It also comes in this cute Mystical Minis Revive and Repair duo set if you want to try it in a smaller size. I had a chat with a friend about hair care the other day on shampoos and hair treatments for colored hair. Based on reader recommendations I bought the Oribe Color Safe Shampoo and Conditioner, but many of you also recommended the Kerastase Reflection Chromatique line. My friend swears by the same Kerastase (she said the one in the bright pink tubes) which is available at Sephora now. I wish I had ordered them during the Rouge event days! I might still place an order as I go through shampoo really fast anyways and will probably use up the Oribe very soon.

Sephora Haul T3 Twirl Trio, Aquis Hair Towels, Living Proof Flex Spray

That wraps up my Sephora haul! I have a never ending list of things I want to try and I’m sure you do too! I plan on buying the Laura Merceier tinted moisturizer and the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Microfinishing Pressed Powder.

Was hoping you would consider doing some reviews of the Shiseido Limited Edition Gift Sets- there is a Holiday Lip Kit and a new VisionAiry Gel Lipstick featured on the brand website. I’m also curious to see what you think about the Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30. The customer reviews of this foundation on the Nordstrom website are pretty positive so far.

  • Amy L. November 9, 2018 at 9:21 am

I’m waiting for the Sephora Favorites sets such as the Skin Wonderland. All about hoarding the minies…lol

  • lawler || yvettemypet November 9, 2018 at 9:22 am

Oh! I didn’t know the Hangover primer was silicone-free. I’ll have to dig out my sample. I was only aware of REN Perfect Canvas and a Cotarde one. If anyone has any other high-performing recs, let me know.

  • Yin November 9, 2018 at 9:26 am

I love the belief moisturizing balm. I find it works well with powder foundations.

  • BlushandPearls November 9, 2018 at 9:26 am

No Sephora haul for me (I’m trying to be thrifty these holidays)! I’m really hoping you do a review on the MUFE Full Coverage foundation – sounds promising!

  • Andreia SPR November 9, 2018 at 9:27 am

Hey! I didn’t buy anything from Sephora, I’m already starting to buy Christmas presents. I would like to continue to read your skin products review.

  • Jinyoung Choi November 9, 2018 at 9:28 am

I feel like Drunk Elephant products are very hit or miss for me. There are a lot of beauty gurus who seem to rave about them, but for me, I do not know how I feel about the brand as a whole. I have recently tried out the sukari baby facial to spot treat, and it seems to be working great. The TLC serum broke me out so much. I couldn’t stand the smell of the Fenty gloss either. It smelled like pepto bismol.

  • Danielle Matijas November 9, 2018 at 9:29 am

I hauled the Charlotte Tilbury stars in your eyes pallet and am currently loving it! I would be interested to see some of the Sephora sets for this holiday reviewed!

  • Megan Harrington November 9, 2018 at 9:35 am

I hauled the Charlotte Tilbury Stars in Your Eyes palette, the Pat McGrath lipgloss in Pale Fire Nectar (I am OBSESSED), and restocked some skincare I always use and then I bought the Farmacy the Mighties kit to try, I hope I love it.

I commented on this on another one of your posts, but I would love to see a roundup of your favorite glitter eyeshadow/top coats, and see them swatched side by side. Honestly from what I’ve seen so far there hasn’t been many holiday sets that have really caught my eye. I want the Drunk Elephant sets and have asked for those for Christmas, but as far as makeup goes, I haven’t been loving much.

  • Stephanie November 9, 2018 at 9:47 am

I just hauled the Nars lip set that you reviewed. I would love to see more holiday makeup collection reviews! Your swatches are always spot on and we have similar skin tones so I know if it works for you, it’ll work for me.

  • Patricia Zeleznik November 9, 2018 at 9:47 am

I hauled Drunk Elephant as well. Suck a great holiday deal. Would love to see some Marc Jacob’s holiday reviews.

  • Kristen November 9, 2018 at 9:55 am

The TLC Baby Facial by Drunk Elephant is skin changing. Once a week on Saturday night, I leave it on for 20 min, wash it off and apply a hydrating mask. I wake up on Sunday morning with the smoothest skin, no dryness at all.

  • Noriko Tsuchiya November 9, 2018 at 9:56 am

Hauled Surratt blushes and lash curler and Verb hair mask and the agave lip mask mini sets. For holidays, I see there are great fragrance sets coming out. I am especially interested in Jo Malone.

  • Lauretta3 November 9, 2018 at 9:56 am

I wish I lived in the US! 😔 I live in Australia and we don’t get all the holiday sets and releases that you do! I don’t even have a Sephora to visit! lol I did manage to get the hourglass unlocked palette after seeing your review. I would like to see any new foundations you review, as I have a similar skin tone to you, and I find your reviews honest, well photographed and fun to read!

  • niche November 9, 2018 at 10:04 am

I hauled a lot the last few months. For the Rouge sale, I bought a few Sephora kits (the scouted and soko ones). I replenished my grandelash eyelash serum (it works!) and bumble and bumble hairdressing oil holiday kit. I’m trying out the new (to me) Ouai rose oil. I just started using the Dior lip glows (thanks to your reviews).

I honestly feel like you reviewed everything I would be interested in. Maybe the Chanel holiday collection? I’d love to see you do a blue eye (lol joking – I love neutrals too).

  • Christina Choi November 9, 2018 at 10:12 am

These posts are so helpful, Sabrina! I just hauled the Sunday Riley Cleanse & Detox AHA set and the Pat McGrath’s MTHRSHP Bronze Palette.

In the future, I’d love to see more reviews on foundations for the cold weather and most importantly, the upcoming spring makeup collections, especially from Chanel!

  • Diana November 9, 2018 at 10:13 am

I hauled the Hydration Heroes kit from Caudalie, Skin Summit kit from First Aid Beauty, Good Genes Holiday kit from Sunday Riley and Glow Brightly kit from OleHendriksen because they were such a good value! Also picked up the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Re.Pair Serum to soothe my sensitive skin. This is my first VIB sale so I’m so excited to try all this stuff out!

Would love to see a review of the Sephora Skin Wonderland kit and if you think it’s a good investment. Thanks! 💖

  • Elena November 9, 2018 at 10:19 am

I didn’t get anything – I am trying to save up money for my baby to come.
I would love to see your review on holiday gift sets – there are so many choices and so many look great, but is the quality so great?

  • Paige Raugust November 9, 2018 at 10:27 am

I’m not sure if I’ll be buying anything but I would love to see a review of the new Tom Ford eyeshadow quads that just released.

  • Yolennie November 9, 2018 at 10:32 am

Just bought a SKI-II set and replenished some basics. Please review more holiday collections, would love to see reviews of new products!

  • katarina prazmova pivarci November 9, 2018 at 10:39 am

I bought the Babyfacial but I didn’t know there was a kit until I saw your post🤦🏼‍♀️ I would love to read your thoughts on Sephora Favorites sets.

  • N K November 9, 2018 at 10:48 am

    1. I will be getting some Tom Ford eyeshadow quads and maybe a Foreo Luna 2.
    2. Could you do a post on the 7 new Tom Ford quads that just came out? A review of the Dior holiday collection would also be great!

  • Chelsea November 9, 2018 at 10:49 am

Nice haul! I mostly ordered CT – Hollywood’s flawless filter finally came back in stock on Sephora Canada, so I had to jump on it…and a few other things.

I’m really hoping you pick up the new Nars palette that’s coming out later this month. I missed narcissist wanted and am interested to see how this one compares.

  • Michelle November 9, 2018 at 10:51 am

I think you will enjoy the Drunk Elephant products as you begin to use them. I have been slowly replacing most of my skincare with Drunk Elephant items and can honestly say my skin has never looked better! I especially love the Baby Facial, Protini moisturizer, and Vitamin C serum.

  • Lyse Davitt November 9, 2018 at 10:56 am

Some Verb hair products and the Hourglass Unlocked palette. Plus a few holiday gifts.

  • Frances November 9, 2018 at 10:57 am

My sephora sale haul was kind of small – basics like shisheido facial cotton, CT compact powder, La mer powder brush, and PatMcGrath sparkly lip balm in flesh 3.

Would love to see some holiday home decor recs!

  • Laura Schmaltz November 9, 2018 at 11:02 am

I wanted to try the Drunk Elephant sets, but never did get them. I will be curious to see what you think! I would like to see what you think about the Huda New Nudes palette, and the Guerlain All Eyes on You palette. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Jane S November 9, 2018 at 11:13 am

I wish Drunk Elephant would let us choose what we want in the sets…
Just ordered one of the Pat Magrath eyeshadow palettes and and Armani lipstick! Will head into the store to see what other goodies there are…
Would love to see holiday makeup! Maybe with some green sparkly eyeshadow? I know that’s not up your alley but it’d be fun 🙂

  • rachlovespenguins November 9, 2018 at 11:18 am

My haul was pretty boring. Mostly restock, and I bought almost no makeup whatsoever, only a replacement LM powder. I restocked FAB anti-redness serum, Dr Jart Cicapair mask, and Sunday Riley Good Genes, and got a full-size DE TLC Framboos. Upon further evaluation, I should have gotten the night kit you did because I like the Lala Retro and I want to try the B-Hydra and the C-Tango eye cream! Oh well.
For holiday stuff, do you have or are you planning to get any of this year’s holiday Diptyque?

  • Tahrer November 9, 2018 at 11:21 am

I hauled a lot from Sephora including the
    – overtime mask from summer fridays
    – dior addict lip glow on rose gold
    – hungary mist from omorovisza (sp is probly wrong)
    – Omorovisza trio face masks
I’d love to see a review of colourpop items and how they compare with high end products :DDD

  • Brittchen November 9, 2018 at 11:26 am

Unfortunately, I couldn’t haul anything at Sephora as I live in Germany… There is some kind of cooperation between Sephora and Galeria Kaufhof (a German department store with a large cosmetics department) now, but so far I haven’t seen any offers coming close to those sales you guys have in the US… I have the impression that a few (cosmetic) companies have much better offers/large sales in the U.S. but not in Germany/Europe (e.g. AHAVA has wonderful sales and fantastic goodies on its US site ALL the time, but on the European and German one: Nothing… Even CHANEL, a French(!) company, offers more “goodies” and free standard shipping for a smaller shopping value on its American webpage than it does on its French, German, and other European “online boutiques” – I wonder why that is…

Nonetheless, I would like to see your thoughts on the “Collection Libre 2018 de CHANEL” – although I specifically asked you to stay away from CHANEL product reviews for a while 😀

  • Valerie Manke November 9, 2018 at 11:28 am

I got the Jo Loves scent brushes and bite beauty agave set and glitter eye mask. I couldn’t get as much as I’d like with Christmas coming and 2 kiddos who deserve the moon. I would love to see holiday beauty tutorials on hair and nails.

  • Daisy797 November 9, 2018 at 11:53 am

I have hauled the DE Sukari facial per your recommendation and the Pat McGrath lipsticks 🙂

  • inkchick November 9, 2018 at 11:55 am

My life has been way too crazy for any shopping so I can’t do a Sephora haul right now. Hopefully Christmas will help me out on that score. As for reviews, I’d love to see your take on some of the Advent Calendars the beauty folks are giving us.

  • Diana DelRio November 9, 2018 at 12:21 pm

I”ve hauled the Kate Sommerville Detox cleanser again since it’s my holy grail along with Shiseido cotton pads. I might go back for the Fenty Beauty mint’d mojito killawat duo.

I’d love to see Fenty Beauty reviewed boo!

    Thx for hosting

    2) I’m always looking for skincare reviews or good gift ideas

  • JN November 9, 2018 at 12:29 pm

At Sephora, I restocked on my powder foundation in my lighter winter shade. I’m a fan of the bareMinerals barePRO compact for travel and the Clarins Skin Illusion loose powder foundation.

Would love to see reviews of your fave powder foundations and any beauty / fragrance advent calendars.

  • Daisy November 9, 2018 at 12:29 pm

I’m in the U.K, so sadly no Sephora haul, however I did just grab the new Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk superstar lipstick, and I am loving the more glossy finish of it compared to the original! I would love to see some reviews on the Bobbi Brown and Ren gift sets, and the new Nars eyeshadow palette, as well as gift recommendations for things like body care sets or candles!

  • Sydnee B. November 9, 2018 at 12:58 pm

I’m eager to try the Bum Bum line at Sephora…heard so many good things. I’d love to read reviews on cushion foundation.

    1) Not a ton. I got a Drunk Elephant kit (the one will the full-size Lala Retro), replaced my Flowerbomb perfume, and got some lip masks.

    2) Love gift guides! Holiday set reviews would be great, too.

  • Maria S November 9, 2018 at 1:11 pm

I definitely had to order during the Rouge sale. I tried the new Wander Beauty foundation, which I love. It’s a really great lightweight, dewy foundation. I also got the Bite Agave Lip Mask is smashed because I love the other ones I have and this is a beautiful tint. Also, the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer because I wanted it forever and I had to finally splurge!

I would love for you to review the new Dyson Air Styler! I am really considering buying it and getting rid of all my other hair tool but I am curious your thoughts.

  • Rosa J November 9, 2018 at 1:22 pm

I haven’t hauled anything yet since today is the first day I’m able to shop it. I want to thoroughly review your suggestions since I value your thoughts on products.

You always seem to do good reviews on items, but a suggestion maybe is to do more on hair products. I’m also a newbie to hair coloring (darn grays) and would like to see your suggestions.

  • stephanieamccoy November 9, 2018 at 1:23 pm

I didn’t go too crazy. A Caudalie serum, Pat McGrath palette, and La Mer foundation!

  • Kirsty Marr November 9, 2018 at 1:32 pm

    1) I hauled the B hydra from drunk elephant and restocked on my favourites including the lippe and briogeo superfood shampoo and conditioner
    2) I would love a review on TATCHA Skincare For Makeup Lovers Obento Box

  • DB_Boston November 9, 2018 at 1:49 pm

Nothing from Sephora excited me this time around, so I picked up staples: Tatcha oil cleanser, Kopari deodorant, Youth to the People Oil, Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner, NuFace gel primer, Glow Recipe sheet masks, Laneige lip mask, Aquis Lisse Turban, and Shiseido face cotton. A Youtuber recommended the Milk gel eyeliner, but I found it irritating to my eyes. I would love to get your opinion on K beauty products!

  • pinksuzanne November 9, 2018 at 1:56 pm

I have only hauled a few items Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and Peter Thomas Roth Potent C.
I would like to see skin care and starter makeup kits to gift to my teenage granddaughter.

  • Hiroko Charbonneau November 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm

  • Effie Wong November 9, 2018 at 2:02 pm

I got too much from Sephora Rouge sale – DE Baby Facial, Bum Bum cream set, Sephora favorites skin care set, Laura Mercier Highlight, Hourglass Varnish Stick and Jouer concealer. I would love to see your foundation choice for winter.

  • Laura November 9, 2018 at 2:12 pm

I haven’t been able to access the sale yet since I’m not rouge but I’m planning on trying the hourglass stick foundation and getting the Becca champagne pop highlighter! I would love to see some home decor posts and maybe something about how to make foundation stay when it gets really cold outside!

  • Ashley November 9, 2018 at 2:52 pm

I snagged a billion lipsticks, including #LipStories which are amazing! Would love to see you do a review of that line.

  • kelleyhasapis1 . November 9, 2018 at 10:01 am

Thank you for this post. I’m thinking about taking the plunge and trying Drunk Elephant. I have a few things in my basket but I’m thinking of adding one of these kits. I love all of your reviews, and I can’t think of anything off the top of my head that I’d like to see, I generally learn about new collections through you.

  • Ellemomo November 9, 2018 at 10:09 am

The T3 Whirl Trio looks very nice…any plans to try the new Dyson Airwrap? I am *this* close to pulling the trigger!

During the Rouge event I got a few Aquis turbans for myself and gifts, stocked up on Ole H. 3 Little Wonders, re-stocked my Stila mascara and eyeliner, the Tata Harper regenerating cleanser and mask set, and a new lash primer!

For upcoming posts, I would love to see full face looks, as well as holiday decor or even some personal style!

  • Liz November 9, 2018 at 3:31 pm

I bought too much during the sale but my favorite things I picked up are the Natasha Denona cranberry palette and the Artis mini palm brush!

I’d love to see reviews on any of the limited edition holiday sets coming out.

  • Solange November 9, 2018 at 3:34 pm

    2) I would like to see male and female gift guides, holiday makeup collection reviews, skincare sets, home decor recommendations etc.

  • Tessa November 9, 2018 at 10:42 am

Always love a good Sephora haul! I got a kit from Drunk Elephant to try some of their products out and I can’t wait to see results and to find out which one are the best for my skin! 🙂
I’d love to see a gift guide for hair care for different hair types, or a gift guide for different skin types!

I haven’t hauled anything yet, but I can’t wait to. I’d love to see reviews on holiday gift set

  • Carole D. November 9, 2018 at 3:52 pm

Tatcha set and a few Drunk Elephant products I’ve been wanting to try.
Would like to see a new foundation review.

  • hh November 9, 2018 at 4:07 pm

I picked up: Invisible oil heat protectant, Olaplex treatment, Pat McGrath MatteTrance in Fever Dream, a Milk mascar mini, and Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick.

I always love to see makeup reviews and swatches. An overview/comparison of cream eyeshadows would be great too.

  • J Lee November 9, 2018 at 4:39 pm

Still curating my Sephora haul list… 🙂 The babyfacial kit is definitely on there and I’m super intrigued by the new Matte Velvet formulation. I loved the previous iteration of it (Mat Velvet Plus I believe?) but could never get a great color match. Fingers crossed there’s something more suitable this time! I’d love to see a holiday post on some affordable skincare or makeup gifts/sets to give to the younger ones in my family (early 20ish). Thanks, Sabrina!

  • Jessica November 9, 2018 at 4:39 pm

I picked up the Inspector Drunk Night Kit! Started using them and my skin loves it!

I would love to see the reviews on advent calendar especially the nars one! I want to know whether it worth getting it! 🙂

  • Joulia Leahey November 9, 2018 at 4:48 pm

I haven’t bought anything yet but I’m consiering the Too Faced lip set and maybe the Ciate glitter storm palette

  • MALINA CRISTESCU November 9, 2018 at 4:48 pm

    1) no, I did not haul anything as they don’t have this in the country I live
    2) for the holidays, I think what I would like to see is how you use the holiday collections in your own looks. I know this is not something you do, but more of your looks would be something every interesting to really see how you combine shadows and products from different brands in one single look

  • Mary November 9, 2018 at 4:56 pm

    1) yes, I picked up a few things from the sale. I missed out on the Charlotte Tilbury products I wanted though…sold out!
    2) I would love to see reviews on holiday makeup collection and any limited edition sets.
Thanks. I love reading your reviews so much.

  • lisa_carbone November 9, 2018 at 5:11 pm

I picked up mostly Hourglass picks…Illusion Skin Tint, the new Veil Loose Powder and the Double Ended Powder Brush. I also got one of the new Pat McGrath lip balms in Blow Up (lovely!), Murad Spot Brightning Serum, some travel minis of DryBar Triple Sec.

I would love to see some posts on Holiday Decor!

    Cheers Lisa

I want to try the La Mer Cushion Foundation and Armani Neo nude powder

  • Sonia Liaw November 9, 2018 at 5:34 pm

I got the moroccanoil hair treatment from the VIB sale at sephora. I would love to see more holiday makeup collection reviews, please!

  • Rahasya Chandan November 9, 2018 at 12:54 pm

I stocked up on drunk elephant skincare and tried a few things from Tacha. I would love to see a review on the PAT MCGRATH LABS BlitzTrance™ lipsticks.

  • Bubblewrapper November 9, 2018 at 6:08 pm

I bought the Tatcha indigo cream, some minis of the Christophe Robin salt scrub, and a few of the Pat McGrath colored lip balm I didn’t have. As far as reviews, I would be interested to hear your experiences in skin care regarding irritation. I’m trying the Tatcha, and it seems to be working well, but with winter in NY I am open to ideas.

  • Jennie November 9, 2018 at 6:58 pm

I bought Briogeo mini duo you mentioned as well as a Shiseido face cream.
I am super interested in the new Tom Ford eyeshadow quads!

  • Calvin F. November 9, 2018 at 7:04 pm

Lots of nice gifts to get at sephora.. I think that nice festive theme eye make up is nice.

  • AmherstLulu November 9, 2018 at 7:07 pm

I bought too many things at the Sephora Rouge sale but like you I still have too many things that I want to try lol. Thanks to your blog posts. Hair oils are next on my list!

  • Stephanie | theFantasia.com November 9, 2018 at 2:09 pm

I restocked a bunch of my favourite everyday essentials – foundations, eyeliner, mascara are my must-have’s. This year’s holiday / value sets feel quite underwhelming for me and those are my favourite types of items to buy,

As for future reviews/features, I’d love to see what you would consider to be foundation ranges that do really well across various skintones. Your reviews/swatches are really good so I’d love to see more items for my future shopping list.

  • Mary Seto November 9, 2018 at 7:18 pm

At the Sephora sale, I ended up getting the Jack Black lip balm set, the Pat McGrath mini trio set, Kate Somerville Eradikate cleanser, It Cosmetics CC powder and Secret Sauce cream, and Mac Lipstick and Liiquidlast liner.

I’d love to see a review on the Le Mer Merry Little Miracles Holiday set available at Sephora…I was debating on this one and passed on it in the end because I have never used any Le Mer products.

  • Katherine Keely November 9, 2018 at 7:31 pm

I purchased the Ren Evercalm Overnight Balm, Laneige Calming Toner, lip mask and Moisturizing Mousse, Armani Luminous Silk and Dior 999 lipstick.

  • amcella November 9, 2018 at 7:52 pm

From my Rouge purchases, I ordered an Armani liquid eye tint, a Fresh sugar lip treatment, a NARS blush and a Kerastase shampoo for myself. For gifts, an assortment of Nest candles.

For the holidays, it would be fun to see some decor options.

  • Daphney November 9, 2018 at 7:53 pm

My haul consisted of new items and restocks. New items: all three new Pat McGrath MTHRSHP mini palettes, Lancôme Monsieur Big waterproof mascara and Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant. Restocks: Shiseido Facial Cotton (purchased 4 bags, they’re the best); DIOR Backstage Face & Body Foundation and Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover.

I’m looking forward to your review of the Drunk Elephant skincare products. I’m really curious about them; I’m just waiting to finish the skincare I already own.

  • Anne D November 9, 2018 at 8:04 pm

I restocked Lancôme Definicils and Anastasia Brow Wiz. I am trying out Bobbie Brown Hydrating Face Cream and Algenist Lip Collagen. My treat was Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I have decided to go back for the La Mer cushion compact.
I would love to see how you decorate for the holidays along with some good gift ideas that are not necessarily makeup related.

  • Alyssa Pham November 9, 2018 at 3:26 pm

I always love the Sephora sales! It’s so hard to figure out what to get during these sales and can be very stressful! I ended up getting a lot of Drunk Elephant and random minis.

  • Wendy C. November 9, 2018 at 8:28 pm

I picked up Olaplex, beauty blender, Fenty Beauty Gloss Balm, IGK Charcoal dry shampoo and texture spray. Can you review the Becca Glow Kitchen kit?

  • Amy Kendall November 9, 2018 at 8:50 pm

I got the Laura Mercier caviar stick set, the Sol De Janeiro set, and a couple of backups of stuff that I know I’ll run out of soon.
I would love to see a post on the Diptyque holiday candles. Also, not holiday-related per se, but I would also like to see swatches of the new TF eyeshadow quads

  • Jennifer Ryder November 9, 2018 at 8:54 pm

1.I hauled the Pat McGrath Subliminal Platinum Bronze palette, Volition Beauty Snow Mushroom Water Serum, Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice, Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Dark Pearl, and Smashbox Petal Metal liquid lipstick in XO, Vlada.
    2. Looking forward to the Drunk Elephant reviews.

  • Lisa L November 9, 2018 at 9:26 pm

I picked up a new beautyblender and a new bottle of Daisy. I’d love to see a beauty/makeup gift guide for stocking stuffers!

  • Amanda November 9, 2018 at 9:28 pm

Thank you for always putting in so much effort in all your posts! I also stocked up on Drunk Elephant products during the sale. My skin loves the b-hydra serum!

  • Anne C November 9, 2018 at 9:29 pm

Great haul! I just got Dior Lip Glow in Raspberry and YSl Tint-in-Stick in Orange Perfecto. I love them! Planning to buy the Bite Beauty Lip Mask Kit.

I would really love to read your take on the Lancome Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Collection.

  • Megan Anderson November 9, 2018 at 4:28 pm

I ordered some Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and the Briogeo heat protectant cream. I didn’t need a lot of things and tried to be good about my list!

I would love to see skincare set reviews!!

  • Catherine Shi November 9, 2018 at 5:07 pm

I love seeing your picks! Thank you for sharing. 🙂 I feel like I need to check out Drunk Elephant.

    1) I shopped both Rouge weekends and restocked on a scalp mask (Madame CJ Walker scalp exfoliator), picked up 5 of the new Shiseido lipsticks (gel and matte, I LOVE THEM, most comfortable I have ever worn though my lips are complicated like the Pat McGrath mattes bled on me in addition to making my lips peel) and a few of the Pat McGrath mini sets as gifts. I have been debating the holiday eyeshadow palettes for weeks now, but I have a rouge reward and am so close to being able to redeem a second one.

    2) I always love to see your “what to buy for the girl who has everything” gift guides!

  • Ashley November 9, 2018 at 10:11 pm

I got the volition gift set, the de eye cream and the laniege lip set plus several gifts

  • Ashley B. November 9, 2018 at 11:17 pm

I wish I had enough money for a haul! Haha

  • Quyen Roddy November 9, 2018 at 6:56 pm

During the Sephora sale I purchased the Pat McGrath lip balms in Love Supreme and Passion Flower, Alterna Caviar shampoo and conditioner set, Alterna Caviar Heat Protection spray, Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, Anastasia Glitter Adhesive, Glow Science whitening device, Dr Jart Mask Heroes Face Savers, It Cosmetics tightline mascara, Tatcha blotting papers and the Aquis hair towels (based on your recommendations😊)

I would love to see your recommendations for Christmas gifts at different price points, please.

  • Stephanie November 10, 2018 at 12:06 am

I got a the visesrt color theory palette in minx. I would love to see a holiday party picks post!

  • Stephanie November 9, 2018 at 7:16 pm

It took me a while, but I finally caved and have been using a lot of Drunk Elephant products over the last few months. It really helped calm my skin down after a lot of chaos.

Are you going to do a Tatcha update before the friends and family event ends? I’m curious about their lip products. Thanks!

  • Anne Capitant November 9, 2018 at 7:34 pm

That Shiseido Facial Cotton is so good! Once you get it you can’t switch back! Also the Briogeo mask is amazing! I didn’t get any makeup during the sale, but I picked up the LE extra large size of Ole Henriksen’s Truth Serum and Invigorating Night Transformation Gel. I really want to try more Drunk Elephant (I have a lot of deluxe samples by way of promo codes and subscription boxes) but it’s so pricey I want to try to stick with Ole as while pricey, it’s not AS pricey…

I’m looking forward to your DE reviews as maybe there might be one or two items I should earmark for saving up for if they’re really spectacular. I’d say Farmacy would be a good brand to see some reviews of but I’ve tried so much of it myself already lol.

  • Alia November 10, 2018 at 1:16 am

I stocked up on lots of skincare products this holiday season, so many sets and very good value as well. Picked up the Eve Lom cleanser, the Rose Retreat set from Fresh, Supergoop sunscreen, the Ouai scalp and body scrub (it smells absolutely divine), a trio of Origins face masks and also managed to get my hands on the Hourglass Unlocked palette, which is sold out everywhere here in Malaysia!

Would love to hear your thoughts on Laura Mercier’s holiday collection – the stardust radiant glow palette is gorgeous. Their body and bath collections look very tempting as well.

Thanks for all your detailed reviews, I really enjoy reading them!

  • Samantha Irene November 10, 2018 at 1:45 am

    1) Did you haul anything from Sephora? Nope – we don’t have one in my town so I don’t tend to buy from there.

    and

2)What holiday reviews you want to see in the next month! Can be specific gift guides, holiday makeup collection reviews, skincare sets, home decor recs etc. -Would love some makeup collection reviews!

  • Betsy November 10, 2018 at 2:18 am

I’m going to try the drunk elephant

For the holidays it would be nice to see your top/favorite products.

  • Jessica November 10, 2018 at 3:14 am

I don’t live in the US but my last Sephora haul included Blithe essence, Dior eyelash primer, Herbivore face oil and Armani lip magnet.
I would love to see a review on advent calendars!

  • MBAMommy November 9, 2018 at 10:53 pm

I did a haul even though I tried not to! Got 2 of the Pat McGrath Lip Balms, a Dior lip glow in their original 001 Pink, a Verb hair gift set for a Christmas gift for a friend, two of the Bite Agave Lip Masks, a Cover FX makeup drops, and two Nest candles.

Like the reviews of Drunk Elephant products. Keep those coming! You seriously have a great mix of makeup, hair, skincare, etc products where I dont feel like anything is miasing right now! 😊

  • talker blogger November 10, 2018 at 12:28 am

I cannot agree with you more.. the TLC skin care products are so good !! I am going to avoid buying anything this year, still got a ton of makeup to get past…
I would love to see you reviews and swatching some nice red lip colors — I am dying to find a perfect deep red lip color that works for different skin colors ..

  • MichelleAntonia November 10, 2018 at 8:25 am

Nothing yet, but that Dior gloss looks promising!

  • Nadine Maurer November 10, 2018 at 9:31 am

I do live in Germay and sadly we actually do not have a Sephora sale going on. But if, I will purchase a blush from Charlotte Tilbury (shade name: sex on fire).
I would love to see a post on the new Tom Ford eye quads.

  • Stacy N November 10, 2018 at 5:38 am

This Sephora haul for me was somewhat boring…just back ups 🙂 . I would love to see some home decor recs from you!! Love and have loved your aesthetic for years xoxo

  • reviveni November 10, 2018 at 11:17 am

Thank you for the roundup of first impressions and review on your haul. Always interesting to see what everyone’s bought. For me, for this Sephora sale, I’ve picked up thd Charlotte Tilbury beauty wand (such a beautiful highlighter!) and a palette to try, an Armani foundation, the new Private Doctor(?) Minus serum, and some Dr Jart Masks.

If you’re doing holiday reviews, I’d love to see a roundup on your favorite limited holiday releases from each brand.

  • Rebecca November 10, 2018 at 12:23 pm

I would love reviews of holiday gift sets! I hauled the pat McGrath dark star palette (soooo excited) and an anastasia brow wiz!

  • Cory Christine Hey November 10, 2018 at 12:39 pm

I didn’t get anything in this sale but am heading back to the states soon and can’t wait to haul!!
I would love to see reviews of the Dior holiday launches 🙂

  • Fat White Cat November 10, 2018 at 12:40 pm

Thanks for this giveaway! I’m placing my order today – always need to stock up on SK II 🙂

  • Erin B November 10, 2018 at 9:50 am

I actually restrained myself to buying mostly just essentials from the Rouge pre-sale. I stocked up on: Bite Agave Lip Mask in lavender, Olaplex 3, Shiseido Facial Cottons, Sunday Riley CEO cream and a large bottle of Good Genes, Drunk Elephant Protini and Tarte Tingling Toner. I also grabbed the Charlotte Tilbury Holiday eyeshadow palette and Hourglass LE Ambient Palette 4 as my splurge items. It was a great haul, and I always look forward to the holiday sale to save a bit 🙂

As for what Holiday reviews I would like to see- you’ve already posted reviews for the collections that I was most interested in seeing- Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath and NARS’ holiday collections were my faves!

  • Julie November 10, 2018 at 3:47 pm

    This haul looks amazing!
Bought too many things! But the biggest buys would be the Hourglass Unlocked Palette, Pat McGrath permagel lip liner, Pat McGrath lipsticks, and Drunk Elephant Babyfacial 🙂

Can you do top recommended gift guides, and the best winter skin routine on your blog soon?

  • Lori Jenkins November 10, 2018 at 10:59 am

Love Christophe Robin – the baby blonde mask has been life changing for my highlighted hair. I ordered online a lot of basics (new beauty blender, Kerastase sh/cond, Olaplex) and going to the store today to see some new lipsticks…..feeling a new season splurge coming! Only holiday collection pics I’m interested in so far are the Dior vernis polishes.

  • Sus Scrofa November 10, 2018 at 4:53 pm

I didn’t buy anything in the haul. I’m really interested in a review of the Dyson air wrap.

  • Leah Hart November 10, 2018 at 4:54 pm

I love the November Sephora sale and I stocked up on a bunch of Drunk Elephant products too! I would love to see holiday beauty gift guides!

Didn’t buy anything and I would love to see a Chanel Holiday review…Thanks for the giveaway.

  • Meg November 10, 2018 at 6:23 pm

Haven’t purchased anything from Sephora yet, but I’ll definitely buy the new IGNITED palette from NARS when it becomes available 🙂

I’m not sure if this counts as “holiday reviews,” but I’d love to get some gift ideas for PEOPLE WHO ARE HARD TO SHOP FOR, including men’s beauty products!!!

  • Tessa November 10, 2018 at 6:54 pm

I haven’t hauled anything at Sephora yet (trying to be good but I have several holiday sets in my cart)! I will pick up at least a couple things before the sale ends.

I am interested in more tool reviews! Tools are more expensive so I really like to read up before I invest. That new Dyson Airwray styler looks amazing (but is it a gimmick??) but it’s SO pricey.

  • DeeDee November 10, 2018 at 7:17 pm

i ordered 3 kits: one from Dr. Jart, one from Farmacy (I’ve never tried anything from them but I’m excited to try them out), and a Scouted by Sephora skincare set. I’d love to see your review of the Ren kit.

  • diana yu November 10, 2018 at 8:32 pm

I got the Drunk Elephant Big Reveal Kit, can’t wait to start trying more from their range! I would love more reviews on skincare kits-they can be any, really. I’m terrible with hair so tools and hair products don’t interest me as much.

Would love to hear your thoughts on Chantecaille products (their skincare and makeup) departmental store Christmas collections – Chanel, Dior, YSL etc…

  • Sunnykm November 10, 2018 at 8:38 pm

    Looking at hair care.

Please post a video of the T3 tool you use.

  • Stephanie November 10, 2018 at 8:45 pm

I got some new skincare to try. The Blithe Hydrating Vital Treatment Essence and Edible Beauty No.3 Goddess Serum. Wanted to get the Dyson Airwrap to try, but it keeps going out of stock.

I’d love to sees some targeted gift guides based on interests. Like the reader, or the traveler, or the baker/foodie, the skincare junkie, the makeup lover, etc. I also wouldn’t mind if you had a post of tips and tricks that you’ve found for applying shadows for monolids.

  • Jenny B (@jnylala) November 10, 2018 at 10:06 pm

I didn’t get anything from Sephora this time around. I’d love to see posts on some of the awesome beauty advent calendars available this year! I loved seeing the L’Occitane one you posted last year.

  • Zibbyz November 10, 2018 at 11:13 pm

I have not hauled the sephora sale but I’ve wanted to try their lip glosses For the holidays I always like sparkly looks even tho we don’t do many parties, more staying at home with family Thanks for the draw!

  • Marina November 10, 2018 at 11:43 pm

I’m eyeing the Hourglass palettes! 😍 Would love to see beauty advent calendars if you were thinking of getting one!

  • Jenn E November 10, 2018 at 11:48 pm

I didn’t haul anything but I was eyeing a few of the new holiday fragrance gift sets. I’m a sucker for them but can never choose which new scent/set to try, so i’d love to see your top recommendations!

  • Jennifer November 10, 2018 at 11:54 pm

I bought the Pat McGrath Dark Star palette – and I’m glad I did! I am curious about advent calendars, I’m noticing them come up a lot more lately but not sure that they’re worth it.

  • Violet Leung November 11, 2018 at 1:21 am

Unfortunately could get anything in the sale as I’m oversea. Can’t wait to do a big shopping trip when I go back to visit family next summer.
Would you consider doing a review on the airwrap. I recall you liking the Dyson hair dryer and am seeing lots of mixed review on the airwrap that put me on the fence.

  • KaTEA ☕️ November 11, 2018 at 1:22 am

Thanks to your recommendation, I bought the Hourglass Unlocked palette! I also stocked up on some skincare essentials. But I would love to see more skincare reviews from you!

  • Jasmine Wong November 11, 2018 at 3:34 am

I bought an skii set during the vib sale. I think you should review the upcoming Ouai fragrances that are coming out this month.

  • Alex Monday November 11, 2018 at 4:08 am

I’m in Australia so sadly no Sephora sale, but enjoy seeing all the sale picks and hauls anyway! I’d like to see some suggestions for Xmas presents for particular interests – such as the make-up junkie, the skin care lover, or vegan/cruelty free options. Thanks!

  • Sandie November 11, 2018 at 5:42 am

I caved and picked up the Sultry palette and the Clinique blush palette.

  • Jasmijn Le Roux November 11, 2018 at 5:49 am

  • Julia November 11, 2018 at 8:29 am

I finally bought an Ilia multistick during the Sephora Rouge sale and a third Marc Jacobs lip balm. I love that lip balm! I also bought an origins gift set for a friend for Christmas and several bottles of Clinique’s liquid soap for my mom.

  • Jenny November 11, 2018 at 9:08 am

  • Rosemarie G November 11, 2018 at 12:42 pm

Your hair with highlights looks sooo pretty! And that Christopher Robin mask is NOW in my cart!
I’m currently on a hair care kick, so far I picked up: Brigeo Superfoods kit matcha & apple (it’s sooo good gentle and effective and smells yummy) olaplex 3 (also good) Reverie milk & cake duo (the milk smells heavenly).
As for holiday kits how about featuring one $$$ and one $. In each category men, women and home.

  • Grace k November 11, 2018 at 3:36 pm

I’ve been on the website a couple times everyday for the past 2 days! i can’t decide what to get, trying to cut down on beauty spending, I’d like to stick with what I need, plus two “nice to have” items haha.

    • Grace k November 11, 2018 at 3:37 pm

I’m looking at the Tom Ford cream shadows, Marc Jacobs shadows and skincare such as Shiseido and Tatcha.

I’d love to see more skincare reviews 🙂

  • Aspasia November 11, 2018 at 4:26 pm

    1. My Sephora Haul: Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage, Pat McGrath Mattetrance Fever Dream, Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita.

    2. Gender specific holiday gift guides! I always find picking grooming items for my father/brother somewhat challenging. Also, best advent calenders.

  • cpbebe November 11, 2018 at 5:26 pm

I hauled both new hourglass palettes, the huda beauty new nudes, allgenist power recharging serum and two Charolette Tilbury lipsticks(bitch perfect and kidman’s kiss)! They are both beautiful and the first Charolette Tilbury I’ve ever owned. I agree with the comments below and would love a holiday gift guide for the guys.

  • Kara November 11, 2018 at 7:03 pm

I hauled my absolute favorite blush from Hourglass (I hit pan a month ago) and scooped up a few other gifts for my husband and mother-in-law. I would love to get more gift ideas for friends & family.

  • coco November 11, 2018 at 7:37 pm

I hauled a few smaller things such as Viseart Petit Pro Eyeshadow Palette, philosophy Microdelivery Peel, Kopari Coconut Deodorant, two IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencils, and Klorane Terrycloth Lined Shower Cap. The eyeshadow palette is super cute and nicely done, but the colors were different from what I saw online (I know it’s a risk to buy online, though), so I was a little disappointed. Really liking the Kopari deodorant, and the Klorane shower cap. The MD peel and IT brow pencils are just routine items I use and really like.

Sabrina, I’d love for you to review Sephora stocking stuffer ideas for one of your holiday posts! 😁

  • Rico English November 11, 2018 at 7:37 pm

I want to haul BÉSAME COSMETICS Red Velvet lipstick and KUSH High Volume Mascara. They are both lingering in my cart right now and calling out to me lol! Would love reviews of fragrance gift sets!

  • Marilyn Nawara November 11, 2018 at 7:57 pm

I haven’t hauled anything yet. I would like to see reviews of different eye shadow pallets and perfumes.

  • Angela Zhou November 11, 2018 at 8:08 pm

Interested in a post about clean haircare. I tried a couple of sulfate free shampoos years ago and none of them were any good. I’m sure technology has caught up by now but I’m not willing to try out new ones myself. Would be great if you can do a post!

  • tracylr November 11, 2018 at 9:26 pm

I just bought some Olehenriksen Transform Uplifting Transformation Eye Cream from Sephora. I love it! It’s thick but absorbs right away and you can see a difference. It smells like cucumber, refreshing and amazing! I love eyeshadow palettes, so I always like to see reviews of the newest of them!

  • susan November 11, 2018 at 9:42 pm

No haul for me 🙁 I would like to see what are the best beauty advent calendars to buy.

  • Lynn T. November 11, 2018 at 9:54 pm

I also got both of the Drunk Elephant set and bought my friend the biossance and Caudalie hand cream set.

I think I would like to see what supplements from Sephora would you try or what mini holiday set is worth the price compared to the full size

  • Nancy P November 11, 2018 at 10:04 pm

No hauls. 😞 Like to see a review for dry skin products.Tis the season.

I wish we had a sephora in the UK, I hate that we don’t!! That’s such a shame you didn’t like the too faced mascara, I never found that it smudged but also I haven’t used it in ages so I wonder if they’ve changed the formula since? I really want to try out the hangover primer collection as I’ve heard it’s incredible for dry skin xx

The Aquis towel is on my Christmas list, as is a couple TF items. Thanks for the chance, I love TF but can never bring myself to splurge on things for myself! I love seeing makeup reviews and what’s worth actually spending the money on.. makes it a little more justified in my head to splurge lol!

With Christmas just a little over a month away I would love to see gift ideas for the pre-teen middle school girl (12 years old) and 10 year old age-range boys. As they get older it is getting harder to buy things that are not $1000 gadgets.

I bought so much on this sale. Few of the items I really needed because I’m almost out and this is the best time to stock up. Some are because I was tempted 😆. I also bought Drunk Elephant baby Sukari facial. I love those. I should have bought the set but I did not see it until I already purchased it.

  • Joanne Ting November 13, 2018 at 11:51 pm

I purchased two Sephora Favorites skincare sets, and the Laneige Lip Balm Set. I also purchased a Saturday Skin No Bad Days set on the following week of the sale! Resisted the makeup temptations, of course I decided to get myself a Natasha Denona palette after the sale had ended. I know you love the Camel palette. Will you be reviewing the Gold palette? I’m undecided between the two!

I’d love if you could write about winter cozy fashion picks. I’m also always curious about your storage and organization of your products.
