The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here for Early Access! If you have a Nordstrom Card you can shop the sale starting today July 13th through July 20th. It opens up to everyone else on July 21st and ends August 6th. As a beauty lover this is one of my favorite events because this is when Nordstrom launches a ton of their Beauty Exclusives. They offer a little bit of everything from makeup, beauty tools like brushes, hair dryers, face devices, skincare, body care etc. My favorite items are their makeup beauty sets and exclusive colors. They also have a lot of their best sellers in large value sizes so you can stock up on your staples. I stopped by my local Nordstrom to shop the sale (secret tip, if you’re a Level 4 Rewards Member you get a 1 day early access to things like this sale). The Nordstrom here in Tampa has a decent selection however it’s on the smaller side and they didn’t carry all the items for the sale so I’ll be ordering a few things online. Also another tip is to check their Gift With Purchase Page whether you’re shopping online or in store. It’s a good idea to make a list, especially of the GWPs – when you’re in store there’s a lot to browse and you can easily miss out on some great extras especially if you’re stocking up for gifts or spending a good amount with a single brand. Do note some of the GWPs may be online only.
First a quick look at some of the exclusives set up in store. For those of you who don’t have a Nordstrom near you I hope this helps give you a visual idea of what the Beauty Exclusives section looks like. I felt like the shoe and clothing selection in store was pretty lacking in the store near me so I’ll be shopping the sale items online. If I find anything I’ll definitely do a haul post on that. Here’s a quick look at some shoes I saw that were interesting including these Tory Burch Bryce Sandals and a lot of good sales on boots.

On my order wishlist includes the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Set, the Butter London Set, Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, Glamglow Set, Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss Minis, and another Clarisonic Alphafit for my husband because his needs to be replaced.
My top beauty recommendations would also include the Diptyque 5-Piece Set, the simplehuman Sensor Mirror (I love it, I’ve had mine for around 4+ years), any Clarisonic device (I like the Mia Fit the best) and if you’re a fan of nude lips, grab the MAC Look in a Box Set as soon as you see it – it always sells out quickly every year. In previous years some brands also launch their fall beauty collections around this time at Nordstrom. I didn’t see anything out yesterday but it was the pre-early access so they might not have had a chance to put everything out yet.

I am going to grab the Simple Human mirror, the Diptyque candle mini set, the Kiehl’s jumbo Creme de Corps and the BHA Paula’s Choice duo.
I recommend the Anastasia lip gloss set to those who haven’t played with them yet. Stunning pigmentation! (I already have all the colors from buying the Summer and Fall sets from last year).

The eye color looks extremely wearable, I have heard good things from Beauty Professor about the mascara, and I believe that lipstick would be neutral yet not dead lip looking. I have notized that you are using the Tory Burch flat sandals a lot. How are these sizewize? I usually wear 37, but in some sandals, e.g. Birkenstock, I am a 36. Any advice?
I’m a 6.5 in most brands, I’m also a 6.5 in Tory Burch for an exact fit. I could have gone with a 7 but they run just a tiny bit long. Haven’t worn/tried Birkenstocks before so can’t compare on sizing. I would go with your usual size! If you buy/order from Nordstrom they have a really good return/exchange policy (based on the places I’ve purchased mine).

I was considering the Mirror, but the reviews are extremely mixed on Amazon– with lots of complaints. I already have TF Escapade so the TF trio is out. So at this point, I am looking at the Ouai duo because I’ve tried it at Sephora a few times and really like it. Even though I don’t really use dry shampoos, as the last thing my hair needs is drying, having that extra product could be good in an emergency. The YSL lip set is also very tempting as for half the year, I am pretty much wearing pink lipstick every single day.
I’m thinking about trying the SK_II set.

I’m hoping to pick up the charlotte tilbury filmstar bronze and blush glow set and after reading your review, the hourglass palette is also on my list since i don’t have any of their palettes.
So I went and did a little damage but not much, not yet! I got the Kate Somerville Set, the Beauty Blender set, and the Dior set (2 lipticks, mini, and bag). I’m trying not to purchase anything else but there is so much time left! I love BP botties so I might cave and buy those! Hard to be good!

I saved plenty on my Wish List. I will buy the Luna Pro Cleaner which I have been dying to try. Also the PMD Pro, the MAC lip colors you recommended. And, the T3 Hair Dryer. as my older hair dryer just gets too hot even on medium setting and is too low to dry on the lowest setting, so it’s time after 6 years. Who needs a Hair Dryer that dries out my hair and burns my scalp? Not I! .
The Mario Badescu set is definitely on my wish list.

I was tempted by the Rodin Luxury Face Oil and Moisturizer, but haven’t caved in to this pricey impulse yet. I was really disappointed that the Sam Edelman Raefaella embellished flats in black sold out before I could even try them, same for the Steve Madden blue crushed velvet mules! I did get a cute pair of mesh insert Zella leggings and splashed out for a bar of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino bath soap even though it wasn’t on sale. It’s pretty fabulous!
There are too many things on my wishlist from Nordstrom’s beauty section in the sale and one of the TOP in my list would be the PMD microdermabrasion device but i have always had to put it off as it is really considerably pricey for me as a student (and also due to the exchange rate). Apart from the PMD, I’ve also got my eyes set on the beauty blender set, NARS fox Dancer mini multiple style as well as the hourglasses ambient diffused light palette!
