Happy Tuesday everyone! I feel as though holiday beauty releases, gift sets and collections are starting to flood my e-mail inbox with daily notifications. I’m really excited about this year’s gift sets – they look better than ever and there seem to some that are well-priced. I will have to make my lists and sort through them carefully before making purchases. A few things on my beauty radar this week.
First, three sales/gift with purchase events you might want to take note of. Space NK is having their explore event, details one post down, but use code EXPLORE15 for $25 off purchases of $100 or more (online only, valid through 10/25). Shopbop is having 25% Off Friends and Family Sale with code INTHEFAM25 (good for 3 days, ends 10/15). Neiman Marcus is having their Incircle Event so many lines have gift with purchase options.
From the top left clockwise:
- Le Metier de Beaute and Neiman Marcus have created a limited-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Stephanie Kaleidoscope. I will be picking mine up later this week since they have their Incircle Event. There is a gift with purchase available with any $300 purchase (in store and online). More details once I pick mine up.
- Chanel has some gorgeous releases for late fall into holiday. First there is a new Rouge Allure Collection featuring some new Rouge Allure Lipsticks (Inspiree and Eblouissante), Rouge Allure Velvet Lipsticks, new Rouge Double Colors (I picked up Bright Rose), Rouge Allure Gloss (in Ideale and Expressive), two new Le Vernis Nail Polishes in Singuliere and Troublant. Review on my picks soon.
- Diptyque Holiday looks absolutely amazing. There will be three limited-edition holiday candles that launch November. You can pre-order some from Neiman Marcus now. Also the Diptyque South Coast Plaza store will have an exclusive early preview event at their store October 15th. You can call them (714) 850-9995 for details. They will have a gift with purchase and small bites available.
- Molton Brown has two new hand treatments available. There is Alba White Truffle Hand Exfoliator and Alba White Truffle Hand Treatment. I’ve never thought about exfoliating the hands before – it will be interesting to see how the duo performs.
- Buxom Cosmetics has a number of cute holiday sets with minis. The Don’t Miss a Beat set has 6 mini lip polishes. If you want a bigger selection of colors, the Leave Your Mark Full-On Lip Polish & Lip Cream Set has 15 minis.
- RMS Beauty has launched nine Nail Polishes. There are several different finishes in creams and metallics. I’m particularly intrigued with how the Luminizer shade will look on the hands.
- The Sephora Beauty Insider 250 Point Perk for October Bite Beauty’s Kir Royale has launched online!! Swatches of the lipstick and lipgloss in this post here. If you’ve been stalking Sephora for this bonus to arrive online, I just spotted it today.
- Last but not least, some of Tom Ford Holiday has launched online for pre-order at Neiman Marcus. It’s all very smokey and dark. I have my eye on the Waterproof Mascara in Noir and Nail Lacquer in Black Out (it looks like it could be a dupe for Chanel Steel).
What’s on your beauty radar this week? Do you have anything on your wishlist or are you waiting to see more holiday launches before splurging?

Might need to find something to buy on Sephora, I love the look of the Bite gloss set!

Hi Sabrina, gorgeous picks, I can't wait for Chanel Collections to launch here. Meanwhile I have the swatch and comparisons to Tom Ford nail polish in Black Out, it is not a dupe for Steel (comparisons are there as well). Xox
I picked up Singuliere & Troubulante but not applied yet. I am booked in at Tom Ford on November 2nd for Tom Ford Cream & Powder Eye Night Sky, Eye Pencil Navy / Black & Black Out Nail Polish. Cannot wait for Chanel's Le Top Coat Gold Sparkle Nail Coat Lame Rouge either. And Diptyque trio for holiday always signals the start of Christmas for me so fingers crossed we have a eucalyptus or a pine in there. No horrors as per 2013 Holiday Collection I pray……all those Oriental florals were so wrong for Christmas. My biggest beauty excitement this month is finally owning a 250ml Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge decanter…..nothing else can compete with that for me but I expect I shall find something else to obsess over soon enough.
I just scored the Bite Beauty Kir Royale freebie today and am thrilled! It's really beautiful and perfect for fall. Thanks for your outstanding (as usual) review, Sabrina!
I really wish I hadn't gotten stuff with points on my last order! I love the Bite set!
The Diptyque candles are gorgeous, thanks for all the great info!
I just grabbed that Bite Beauty trio, it looks absolutely gorgeous.
Oh and two more things……Tom Ford lipsticks Showgirl, Flamingo and Forbidden Pink are incredible. Picked them up heterosexual and I think I might get Something Wild at Christmas Launch. First Time & Virgin Rose looked hideous on me. And Jo Malone are relrelaxing the Roasted Chestnut candle in the deluxe size for this year's Christmas. For those of you that missed out a few years back this is expensive but oh so Christmassy. And finally Lisa Eldridge book 'Face Paint' the history of make up was released yesterday in UK. Two print runs have already sold out and current orders are on a 2/3 week turnaround but not only is it an exquisite coffee table hardcover, it's content is just essential reading for all us beauty lovers.
"Face Paint" also launched here in the US. I received my copy from Amazon yesterday. It's a delightful read and an entertaining overview of cosmetics throughout the ages.
I love Buxom glosses, the holiday set looks perfect!
A Little Dose of Makeup

I've been very curious to see swatches of the Stephanie kaleidoscope. I wear my Le Metier eyeshadows every day; they work perfectly on me, and Le Metier is the only eyeshadow brand I wear. I've wanted some new eyeshadows lately, and I've been contemplating whether to get Stephanie, the Ken Downing Paris one that you reviewed a few weeks ago, or just some singles, so I will be very curious to hear your thoughts.
I love your blog, your writing, and your photos. I'm a long-time follower, and I have made many, many purchases based on your reviews and photos. I don't have easy access to counters for luxury brands, so your blog reviews are indispensable. Thank you for your investment in your readers!
Always such a big fan of Buxom <3

Two of the things that were on my radar made it into my cosmetic drawers this week: Guerlain's Perles des Neiges and Rouge G 867 Merveille Rose. Now I'm eagerly awaiting Tom Ford's navy cream eyeshadow with the coordinating celestial shade. I got so much use out of the summer editions, I all but jumped for joy when I learned that there would be a holiday one coming out. As for Chanel, as pretty as the holiday collection is, the blackened red makes my eyes look bruised and so I crossed it off my list. Win some; lose some. I haven't even begun to think about holiday gifts yet, but I imagine as we cruise towards November, the mood will strike 🙂
i picked up the Rouge G 867 today. What a stunning abeit unusual Christmas release. Love it!
Playng with my Le Metier Kaleidescope and VERY COOL gift right now! Oh what fun!!!
My nail salon includes an exfoliating scrub treatment in their basic manicure. They use a lovely , gentle lavender scented sugar scrub. It's divine. I may need to try the Molton Brown product.
I'm looking forward to hearing about Chanel Bright Rose. I've never tried any of the Double Intensite lip products. Have a great weekend Sabrina! 🙂
