Happy Wednesday everyone! I have a roundup of new beauty releases on my radar. I was planning to share this tomorrow but there’s a super special amazing deal that can’t wait. Fall collections are trickling in and the new releases look amazing. My first post will be on NARS fall (which is incredible) and I’m currently swatching my picks from Chanel. Several have asked for the post on my travel carry-on contents – I promise to have it up as soon as I can! I’m editing the photos today and tomorrow. Here’s what’s on my radar from the top left then clockwise:
Sephora Pro has launched a collection of 5 brushes in the hakuho-do + SEPHORA PRO Brush Collection. Each brush comes encased in a beautiful rich red box. The brush tips are a pale white and grey color. Handles are lacquered in a shiny red with silver embossed labels. The presentation is just phenomenal. I’m testing the brushes this week and hope to have a review with first impressions soon.
Tom Ford Beauty has some amazing things coming out this fall. I’m most excited about the Skin Illuminating Powder Duo (currently available for pre-order, I’ve ordered it). I’m also intrigued by the Skin Primers that come in a Pink and Peach version.
One of my BFFs shared her love about Korean Skincare Peach and Lily over the weekend. She ordered some of the Cremorlab Sheet Masks and said “you need to try them.” She has super sensitive skin and also knows her ingredients as she works in product development and closely with chemists. If she says something is good I trust her 100% – I’m ordering a few over the weekend. If you have any recommendations I’m all ears!
For Chanel fall I’m obsessed with the new Le Vernis shades in Vert Obscur, Ecorce Sanguine and Chataigne. Two are very very dark but they are perfect for fall. The new Les 5 Ombres de Chanel is to die for. My personal favorites are the four new Stylo Yeux Eyeliners.
Fresh has a new Limited-Edition Rose Face Mask launched to celebrate their 15th Anniversary. They’ve teamed up with London-based artist Jo Ratcliffe to create a beautiful special-edition floral design for the packaging. It’s gorgeous.
Guerlain Fall isn’t expected to arrive until next month but there is a new Terracotta Bayadère Face & Eyes Contour Palette that has caught my eye. I need to check it out immediately.
Marc Jacobs Beauty has three new face products that just launched. I need the Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer for sure. It wasn’t on display at my Sephora last week but I hope to check it out soon. There is also a new Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate and a a new brush to go with it called The Face III Buffing Foundation Brush.
Armani has a new Luminous Silk Powder Foundation. I’m a 6.5 in the Luminous Silk and was matched to shade 4 at the counter. I’m not entirely sure it’s the right match but I’m giving it a go anyways. The other colors in the 5, 5.5 and 6.5 range looked very pink to me. I’ll report once I’ve given it a proper test.
Tatcha just launched a new Pore Perfecting Suncreen with SPF 35 (also available in a travel size). I’m really anxious to try this as I’ve been testing sunscreens all summer long. I have high hopes for this one.
Last but not least, many thanks to a couple of my readers who let me know Diptyque is on Hautelook for a limited time. There are a few select pieces available – but the deals are really good and it’s worth a look. I bought two of the Lilac pillars although now I need a photophore to store it. This is my first time ordering from Hautelook.
What’s on your beauty radar this week?

Curious to hear your thoughts on the new Giorgio Armani powder foundation!

oh my goodness! so much goodness in this post!!!
i anxiously await to hear what you think of the Armani powder foundation!! thank you for being a tester for the cosmetics lovers of the world!!
those chanel polish colors are GORGEOUS!!! i love dark shades for fall! sometimes i just put them on my toes – i know no one else can see them in my fall boots, but i see them around the house and it makes me happy!
i am excited for the TF face products too. i'm headed to Bergdorf's later this week to try them out!
much wow! 🙂 xo sj
thank you for sharing the diptyque sale! it really is a great deal!
I'm excited to hear your thoughts about the Tatcha sunscreen. Also, I have some experience with the Cremorlab masks. I rather enjoyed the essence that came with the mask, but found the actual shape and material of the masks to be annoying. I may be a Korean beauty blogger, but my heart lies with Taiwanese sheet masks like the LoveMore ones I recently featured on my blog… They have it all, great essence, great mask material, and shape/fit.

I absolutely love Cremorlab sheet masks. I've tried both the hydro plus and the herb tea blemish masks and they are both great! The hydro plus mask is a gel mask that really adheres to the skin and makes your face feel plump and moisturized. The herb tea mask is a cotton sheet mask that helps sooth irritated skin. I hope you enjoy them!!
I am so curious about the Tom Ford powder duo! Looks so gorgeous!
Thanks so much for the headsup about Hautelook! Was sad that the photosphore(?) had sold out, and the set with mint tea in it, but I picked up a handful of others. If I don't love the scents, they'll make for good gifts.
What a killer list! I've recently discovered Tatcha and am so curious about the new sunscreen! The TF highlight duo looks amazing too 🙂
Oo that Guerlain palette looks so interesting, I think I need it…maybe…ok I want it rather. I was so happy to catch Diptypque on Hautelook, I loved the Resine candle and I had to buy the large version to go with the small one I already head. Incredible scent!
The Marc Jacobs coconut primer sounds incredible! I hope it really does smell of coconuts.

Sabrina, I have been meaning to write for some time. Thanks to all your wonderful posts I have fallen in love with candles again. I have tried several of the Diptique (about 5) but I have not found a favorite yet. I have found two in other lines that I wanted to share with you. Cinq Monde Spa in Rituel de Java Indonesie can be found at Dermstore.com. Absolutely amazing and fragrances the entire room! Neom in Complete Bliss I purchaed from Beautyhabit.com is like having a spa in a candle. The scent is so amazing I have bought the reed diffuser and room spray. Have you checked out any of these lines? If you only try one try the Neom Complete Bliss. You will be in love!
I bought the Kusabi brush from the Sephora/hakuho-do collaboration a few weeks ago and I love it. I have also pre-ordered the TF duo and I cannot wait until it gets here – plus the whole fall color collection looks amazing. I've shopped the Diptyque sales on HL before and the only thing that annoys me is the wait time to receive items. Otherwise they are a great deal.
I took a look at the new Armani powder foundation and couldn't find a decent color match 🙁 That really surprised me because I usually don't have any problem. Oh well, I can scratch that one off my list. I'm curious as to what Tom Ford's new powder foundation is going to be like although I just bought Clé de Peau's new Radiant Powder Foundation and am deliriously happy with it. It is so soft and creamy and can be used as a light foundation when used on its own or as a finishing powder over my Radiant Fluid Foundation without dampening the soft luminescence of the foundation. I have über dry skin, but this particular powder really works well for me without emphasizing dry patches or looking cakey. It's a winner! I'm still interested in seeing what Tom Ford comes up with, though, because I really his foundations. I'm definitely ordering the highlighter duo. I have high cheekbones and I love to play them up. I seldom leave the house without a highlighter of some sort and so this new TF duo really spoke to me especially since I attend enough evening events to warrant a night time highlighter as well as one for day. I loved Chanel's fall collection and picked up several items. I fell totally in love with the quad, Tissé D'Automne, but was lukewarm about the the Entrelacs palette. The Crayon Yeux pencils are drop dead gorgeous, though. I saw the Hakuhodo collection for Sephora but wasn't tempted because I have a substantial Hakuhodo collection in squirrel. My latest acquisition is the fan brush in blue squirrel and goat that is sublime!
So, what's on my radar? Guerlain Fall! I need a new neutral palette and Guerlain has a new quad (Les Cendres) that looks promising. Also, there's a new line of blushers I want to try. I also have Clé de Peau on my radar. The quads look interesting with their pop of color that doesn't look overbearing.
I'm really interested in your Hakuhodo review. The ones on the Sephora site are kind of meh.
I'm very excited to try the Tatcha sunscreen. I'm hoping it's not going to break me out.
