Loving Right Now

Right now I’m really loving the Burberry Beauty Complete Eye Palette Quads. I’ve tested three so far … eventually I think I will need one of each shade. (They are really that good.) What I’m loving even more is what beauty bloggers have done for those of us who don’t have easy access to those hard-to-find brands. Burberry Beauty still has limited availability in the US in terms of being at your nearest counter to try-before-you-buy. I love that so many dedicated bloggers have taken the time to photograph and swatch the palettes (in many cases all the palettes!). Detailed reviews to come soon on The Beauty Look Book, but for now a few blogs that helped me decide which ones to order below. Thank you ladies for saving me a long drive to the nearest counter:

Burberry Beauty Complete Eye Palettes retail for $59 and are available online at Nordstrom.com. The cosmetic line is available at the following Nordstrom counters (I heard South Coast Plaza and San Francisco have these in stock):
  • Bellevue, WA – 425-455-5800
  • Topanga, CA – 818-884-7900
  • San Francisco Center, CA – 415-243-8500
  • Walnut Creek, CA – 925-930-7959
  • South Coast Plaza, CA – 714-549-8300
  • Valley Fair, CA – 408-248-2180
  • Michigan Avenue, IL – 312-464-1515
  • Oakbrook, IL- 630-571-2121
  • Garden State Plaza, NJ – 201-843-1122
  • Standford Mall, CA – 650-323-5111
  • North Park, TX – 214-231-3900
A quick sneak peek at the ones I bought:

Also loving right now:

  • Paris in Four Months is a must-read, beautiful photos that brighten up my day (everyday)

OMG! I love all of them! How is it I can´t get enough eye shadow palettes?
Lovely blog, by the way! 🙂

I'm the same way…can't get enough palettes! I'll never use them all either…insanity I tell ya.

I'm the same way, can't have enough palettes. But I'll never use them all so I think I may be insane to want more.

Oh! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on these! I was luckily able to go to the launch event at the Nordstrom SFC last Friday and I decided to start out with Plum Pink (which I sadly have not swatched yet, LOL!) but I have the feeling that I too will eventually end up collecting most of them as well. 🙂

I hope you let us know how you like these (vs. Armani ETK quads vs. Burberry e/s singles). I have been scouring blogs to decide which to get my girlfriends for Christmas. My theme is "my favorite things", and Burberry e/s are definitely one of my favorite things (:

I hope you are able to share your opinions on these soon!!! Can you let us know how you like these in comparison to Armani ETK palettes and Burberry e/s singles?

Yes! I would love to know how the Armani ETK palettes compare to these…i am on the fence between Burberry Dark Spice and Armani Terra Sienna!

These are pretty, aren't they?! Thank you for mentioning my swatches/post too, Sabrina 🙂

These Burberry quads look nice. I haven't had the chance (and money) to try them yet though.

Both Chanel's and YSL's Spring 2013 collections look so pretty! I'm loving the fuchsia lip look on the model in Chanel's ad. Btw, have you seen Dior Spring 2013 nail polishes? It's a collection of punchy bright colors: lime green, mango yellow, and watermelon pink. I'm very excited for these.
