Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Wishlist Beauty Exclusives

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 is starting very soon and I have my initial wish list and recommendations roundup for you today! All the items for sale in Home, Women, Men, Activewear, Beauty Exclusives, Kids are up online for preview already. You can start previewing items online by category and start saving items to an online wishlist.

Nordstrom Card Holders have early access depending on tier. Key Dates for access are as follows:

I’ve gone through the Beauty Exclusives and Home Section and have split all the things on my radar by category. There’s a lot to sort through! I found it helpful to browse by category filter Makeup, Skincare, Fragrance, etc. to help me find things by interest and price.

I’m still in the process of narrowing down my shopping list! A lot will probably change depending on what I see in person in store next week. A number of you have asked me to flag things I find interesting or new/exclusive so I hope this helps!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Beauty Exclusives

This area is where most of my wishlist items are with the limited-edition colors, palettes and sets. I always buy the neutral MAC Lip Sets each year because they make the best colors. This year Tom Ford Beauty has two eyeshadow palette sets and I’m nearly certain I’m buying both the Cognac Rose Eye Color Quad Set and Coquette Eye Set.

Charlotte Tilbury has a new Instant Look Palette called Sunset Dreamscape which sounds pretty! Also NARS has an interesting Pleasure Trip Cheek Palette (Wanderlust, Lucky Star, Wild at Heart) and an Afterglow Lip Shine Trio.

I’m personally well stocked on staples from Laura Mercier, MAC and Bobbi Brown – but if you’ve been eyeing anything, they have some good value sets which makes it a nice time to try some luxury beauty!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Beauty Exclusives Hair Care and Tools

Three things I highly recommend in this category are the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray + Gold Lust Dry Shampoo Set ($64 on sale, normally a $96 value separately), Riki Skinny 10x Lighted Mirror (on sale for $130, normally $210), and the Olaplex Bond Maintenance Trio (on sale for $84, normally $126).

For mirrors I own both the Riki and Simplehuman and I love both. To apply makeup I usually use the Riki because it’s easier to see the entire face while the Simplehuman one is magnified and better to see detail areas. My Favorite Makeup Mirrors reviewed in this blog post for more info/details.

Skincare value sets are always plentiful during the sale! I’m buying the Kopari Coconut Melt Duo for myself for sure 🙂 If you’re looking to splurge on La Mer or Sisley they often have good value sets where you can get a little more for your $$$. I love the Sisley Black Rose Infusion Cream for a lightweight water cream. They have a pretty good set this year!

If you don’t own a Nuface Device they have some good sets on sale! The NuFace White Trinity Kit is on sale for $199 (normally $339) although if it’s not in your budget right now I will say they usually have good sales and sets available during the holiday season too (so no need to rush).

I love the Diptyque and Jo Malone options this year! They have good variations this round! I love the Do Son Perfume + Hair Mist Duo (looks so cute). Andrew’s favorite hand soap from Le Labo Hinoki is available in a Jumbo Size.

Tom Ford has a Travel Size Soleil Fragrance Atomizer with 3 different scents in Soleil Blanc, Soleil Neige and Soleil Brulant. I think this is going to be one I pick up since I haven’t tried two of them and think it would be nice to have them in travel size format.

The one brand I get the most excited about every sale is Barefoot Dreams! I live in these blankets. I have one wrapped around me right now as I’m typing out this post. They have such good sales this time of year and I stock up for Christmas gifts. This year they’ve added a number of new patterns and colors which look really fun!

Over the winter we had some pretty cold weather here and Lucy finally got a lot of use out of her Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Dog Sweater (some of you might remember seeing it on stories). She’s a Jack Russell Terrier about 18-20 pounds. They recommend a Medium for her, but when I bought hers there was only Large Available. It works for her with room to spare, but she’s probably more of a Medium. They have a cute Leopard Pattern Dog Sweater and a Solid Version too.

Bloomingdale’s is having a few promos. They’re doing 15% off beauty $100 in beauty and also up to 30% off marked items. I ordered the Cire Trudon Alabaster Candle in Ernesto and a couple Byredo Candles. Saks is also doing a sale on beauty with 15% off beauty using code CBTY20SF. I ordered the Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 along with the Discovery Set to try some other scents.

La Mer had some really good Gift With Purchases going on over the weekend! I stocked up on the Hand Treatment and Lip Volumizer (both also available in this Rejuvenating Hydration Collection set with a full size lip + mini hand). They have another good one up today for a 4 piece sample set with $200 purchase and a deluxe size product added with $300.

Also in beauty I bought the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eye Vault Set. This one isn’t on sale but was relaunched for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I stocked up on my favorite hair mask Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair (20% off Cyber Monday sale with code HOLIDAY).

The Daily Edited is one of my favorite makeup bag brands and they’re doing 20% off sitewide! I bought a few of the newer colors in the Clear Makeup Bag and Clear Travel Case, this Peach Pink color looks so pretty! Also love the new Baby Blue color.

For the home I ordered one of the Our Place pans on sale with code SUPERSALE. From Le Creuset they had some things I wanted that weren’t on sale but I ordered some of the Mugs, Ramekins and Mini Cocottes for the home.

Clothing-wise I ordered the Rails Collins Jacket in Bone (30% off sitewide with code BFCM30). I have one in a green color and love it so decided to buy a second in a different color. I splurged on the new APL Shearling Slides (not on sale, but I could not resist!). They are having a Cyber Monday promo (excludes the slides) but if you buy 2 you get 1 pair free. I ordered a Duffle Bag from Lululemon for Andrew. I have a few other things on my radar that are marked down at some really good prices but haven’t ordered them quite yet from Alo Yoga.

The last thing I want to put on your radar is that Tory Burch is having a pretty good sale on their website. My Perry Bombe Bag is 30% off in most colors. The black seems to be the one that is excluded, but if you had your eye on other colors you can save during their Cyber event with code THANKS. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Shopping Guide | The Beauty Look Book

It’s that time of year again! I’m sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Shopping Guide since Early Access starts August 4th. This year’s they’ve included a preview online, kinda like a digital catalog. Each day they’re adding new things and I expect the full list of sale items to be live tomorrow. I went through all the different categories to bookmark some things for my wishlist and items I think are great deals. My all time favorite thing of all time the Barefoot Dreams Cozy Throw is part of the sale so if you’ve had a blanket or pillow on your wishlist now is a great time to get one!

I’ll have a full haul post as soon as I’m able to post one! In the meantime I’ve included the highlights by category. They’ve made it really easy to sort and filter multiple ways. I also recommend adding things to your account wishlist so it’s easy to keep things bookmarked in one place.

Here are the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Details for shopping dates. Early Access starts for cardholders depending on what tier you are for points. I’m sure most of you are familiar with the sale but in case you’re new they have tons of brands marked down. Nordstrom has a mix of current brands marked down, new items created just for the sale, value sizes and sets and exclusives.

The Nordstrom Sale Beauty Exclusives are the things I look forward to the most each year. They have great value sizes to save on shampoos, hair styling products, skin care sets etc. Make sure you check their Gift With Purchase page as they update them frequently throughout the sale! Two things I almost always buy every year are the Oribe Set and MAC lip sets each year because they’re a great value. One of my favorite makeup mirrors the Riki Skinny Lighted Mirror is part of the sale this year in a pretty Rose Gold Color. I love that they have an Olaplex Bond Maintenance Trio for $84 ($126 value). There are a good amount of styling tools like brushes, hair dryers, curling irons and flat irons available. As a huge fan of the NARS Oil Infused Lip Tints I’m for sure buying the Mini Duo with new shades Solstice and Beausoleil.

If I could recommend you only buy one thing from the sale it would be any Barefoot Dreams blanket. I love them so much! They’re super soft and snuggly. I sleep with one every night. Nordstrom has some super cute sunglasses every year and I have my eye on the options from Tom Ford.

Athleisure, Denim, Cute Shoes

Most of my wishlist is in the athleisure department. I’m thrilled to see items from Sweaty Betty this year (adding this Mesh Hoodie to my try-on list). I also find Zella to be pretty good for comfortable sports bras and leggings. The denim selection is always great each year. I’m surprised there weren’t quite as many options from Paige this year but there are lots of other brands to choose from including Rag and Bone, Blank NYC, Mother and AG to name a few. I don’t have much on my wishlist for shoes but think these Tory Burch sneakers are pretty cute!
